Cons: Not really a negative point, more of a suggestion: being such a relaxing and pleasant place, maybe the bathroom could have a jacuzzi bath.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Being able to have a Champagne tasting on site. Vertus was a 2 minute stroll where there was a bar and restaurant. Everyone was really friendly
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The accommodation was stylish, modern and well equipped. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The highlight was Jaqueline, our host, who was very knowledgable and informative, and took time to make recommendations to ensure we had an excellent time. She was very generous with the champagne tasting, and the champagne from this maison is excellent. Breakfast was excellent in both quality and quantity.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very nicely decorated big room..good bed. Beautiful building Host took us to the pressing of the grapes. Impressive
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely people - great place - and the best Champagne in the area 100 stars from us.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A very warm welcome from Jacqueline to her immaculate, beautifully furnished rooms. We had an impromptu champagne tasting and decided to buy their wonderful wine. Breakfast was superb. We highly recommend this property and would be delighted to return one day.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was just great, very spacious and well decorated, all pretty new. Breakfast was excellent, with a large choice of salted and sweet stuff, maybe I will add some fruits, but didn't really miss it neither. And of course, the champagne tasting was nice, and we bought many bottles of the excellent family champagne they produce
Cons: Nothing to say
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Simply stunning.
Cons: Nothing whatsoever

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great stay, looked after us very well. Food is fantastic and such a relaxing location. Thank-you we hope to come back again.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The staff is really welcome and will help you throughout the entire stay. The location is perfect for an awesome view of the champagne vineyards and walking route between them. The breakfast in the morning will complete your champagne stay with a typical French style meal with croissant, baguette and local cheese and honey. Definitely recommended!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Perfect for a one or 2 night stay This is a lovely bed and breakfast home with two superb bedrooms with lovely views of the vines and the valley The hosts are exceptionally friendly with a warm welcome and suggestions of where to eat. The local village is limited in choice but the food was good. We had salads and s local dish of baked eggs. The bed is very comfortable with excellent linen and very clean. I have a thing about cleanliness and this establishment gets a 5 out of 5. Parking is onsite and the location is close to Avenue de Champagne and many of the famous Champagne houses such as veuve clicquot.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We had a very warm welcome by Anne Sophie and Frederic. They were lovely hosts, who made us feel at home and who were kind and helpful. We stayed in their apartment and we truly enjoyed it. The rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect and you can easily drive to Reims or Epernay. I would really recommend this place!
Excellent 9.6

Pros: Super attention to details, tip-top. Will return. Tip: Anne's champagne is divine. We should have bought more.
Excellent 9.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The host Micheline was absolutely lovely , so welcoming - she couldn't do enough for you. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable . The children loved the wonderful pool and garden and Micheline made sure that they had everything they could need with pool toys etc. - she is very thoughtful and the perfect hostess.
Cons: Nothing negative to say at all.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Amazed to find we had sole use of the bungalow and there was a pool which the owner kindly uncovered for us to swim. The breakfast was incredible - 12 little individual homemade jams to try!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The accommodation was spotless and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and included homemade jams and strawberries from her own garden! If we were to return to this area in the future we would be very happy to stay at L’Escapade again.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Excellent breakfast and lovely lady who couldn't do enough for us. Swimming pool was very welcome too in the heat.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hostess was especially friendly and welcoming. Exceptionally tasty breakfasts. The beautiful clean pool was much appreciated in the very hot weather we experienced. The adjoining private bathroom was quite luxurious. The bedroom opened onto a spacious terrace overlooking the pool. Highly recommended (but note as stated the hostess only speaks french).
Cons: As older people we found the bed was quite low.

Pros: Host very welcoming. Did not speak English but we were lucky to get help with another guest. The garden is gorgeous my wife loved it. The breakfast fantastic, very fresh food .
Cons: It is in a very small quiet village with nowhere to eat at night, so best to take some food to eat at night. We managed to find a supermarket but it was along way away.
Good 7.5
Pros: Lovely quite location
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We had the friendliest of welcomes. We could tell that the owner really cared about whether we enjoyed our stay. It was a pleasure to share her home (separate entrance) and pretty garden! The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast presented with lots of care.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was fine, breakfast as well
Cons: Great place to stay, value for the money. Quiet, lots of green, very nice host! We had a nice evening and common dinner together with an Australian couple.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very conveniently located for journey back from South of France. Although it seems like it is a detour from the Autoroute in reality you come off at one junction, travel parallel with the motorway, stay overnight and then rejoin at the next junction north. Also, very much liked the quiet room with good en suite facilities.
Cons: An extra power socket closer to the bed... but I might have been looking in the wrong place.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great position off A26 for an overnight stop enroute south .
Cons: Nothing

Good 7.5
Pros: A step into history and a privilege to have access.
Cons: We were the only out of season guests. Reception and departure all a bit casual. We waited a while for the door to be answered!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Perfect pit stop en route to the Alps. Dog friendly and great breakfast
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Plenty of parking facilities clean friendly homeowner comfy bed-slept well:-)
Cons: - shower could use updating...a little difficult to use
Excellent 9.6
Pros: I stayed here a year ago and made a point of returning when my work took me to a location nearby. It's a wonderful place to stay. I work in the media and have written a story about it (link to follow once published).
Cons: It would be even better if there was a dining option but I knew there wasn't food for my stay so I came prepared. The hosts did, however, look after me with a few cold beers upon arrival. First-class!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had a wonderful room in the chateau and felt quite spoilt, especially as the owner cooked us a lovely dinner and we felt quite grand seated at the long table in the dining room. The grounds are lovely, very tranquil. Our dog loved it too.
Cons: n/a
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Patrick (host) was awesome. The room was very interesting as it has been restored and was really nice. The property is set in remote and country setting and was really beautiful. The property has a small pool and free bikes (which we took advantage of) and looks to be a great place to relax. We only spent one night and in retrospective we should have spent more time there. Highly recommend this hotel even though it's out in the remote part of the Champagne region. Also - if you are a runner, I found some fantastic trails to run through the nearby fields.
Cons: No price list for the evening cocktails. I had two glasses of wine and then was surprised to find out how expensive it was. It would have been nice to know what things cost as I probably would have stopped and purchased wine and brought my own instead of spending the $12/glass. Secondly, the nearest restaurant is about 10-15k from the hotel.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Stunning property and grounds, warm and welcoming. Wonderful home cooked dinner the owners are extremely friendly and hospitable. Our stay was short but perfect.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Friendly, most helpful staff with good information on where to dine and champagne cellars to visit. Stunning grounds with great outdoor facilities. Charming setting steeped in history. Highly recommended.

Pros: Excellent choice of preserves. Nice location on ground floor.
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.9
Pros: The bed was very comfy, although ironing the linen would have enhanced the appearance. Breakfast was more than adequate and the croissants were excellent. The staff that we met were very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: The shower was a bit grubby and not very appealing. Also the bathroom floor could have been cleaner.
Good 7.0
Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: There was nobody available on arrival or until breakfast. There was nowhere to eat in the town.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very friendly and comfortable surroundings
Cons: Better lighting in the bedroom
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Clean and good bed.
Cons: The room is very small for the cost and you have to be there before 6pm, which can be difficult if you are travelling.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very nice and beautiful B&B with wonderful rooms. We slept in the family room which was very spacious. The beds were very good as well. The breakfast was more than sufficient with enough choice. They have around 20 types of home made jams, they prepared us an egg every morning. Very convenient that you could park the car on the property itself. Very good champagne, unfortunately they did not have time to show us around on the property because the harvest was about to start (which we totally understand). Nevertheless, we would advise everybody to stay here.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent stay! Lovely room, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast- perfect!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast buffet included excellent cold meats and cheeses. It was an unexpected bonus to have eggs cooked for us by the friendly staff. They also advised which restaurants were open for dinner and phoned to book a table for us. The glass of Cjampagne on arrival was a nice touch. The price was higher thsn we usually pay, but the quality justified it.
Cons: The weather. But the locals were welcoming the first rains after a long dry spell so I forgave them for that. And, to be fair, it stopped draining when we walked the few hundred metres to the restaurant for dinner.

Pros: Very very friendly people who really pay attention to you as a guest. Unfortunately, the lock of the toilet was broken so i locked myself up but for the rest it was a very nice and pleasant stay.
Cons: Very friendly people.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Really quirky set up ...lovely comfortable and spacious room. Owner really accommodating when I wanted to check in early. Comfortable bed and all very clean.
Cons: Would work better for a group of friend or two couples as the kitchen and bathroom are shared...they are also both In the same room I.e. The shower and the sink are also In The same room as the kitchen facilities. Also, not the easiest place to find and there is absolutely nothing in the village so take food and wine if you're wanting to eat after checking in. But a lovely place and a great stay. Great for a stopover.

Pros: Excellent service with a lovely dining experience, the evening meal was superb.
Cons: Directions to parking area could be clearer on booking.
Good 6.7
Pros: Room comfortable.
Cons: Expensive for what it is. Changes to how breakfast buffet is served have led to queues. Coffee now from a machine instead of staff serving it
Good 6.7
Pros: The Restaurant offering was superb. The menu limited but the food absolutely wonderful
Cons: The room was very tired with wallpaper seams coming apart. Lack of any art work to offset a blank wall with only the ironing board hanging there.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Dinner was good.
Cons: Poor room with unattractive balcony. Room looked like one in a hospital. expensive having stayed widely around France. Stale bun found on the floor. Wash hand basin of poor design. Difficult the empty of water.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: What is there to be said about a Logis De France: It is always an amazing experience! Especially if there is a gastronomical restaurant on the premises. The property is much bigger than expected. There is a sauna and a swimming pool, bar, restaurant, a terrace. The big, private parking is next to the room. The rooms are big and comfy albeit a bit old-fashioned but it fits the countryside's tambience. The rooms are big, much bigger than is to be expected. The staff is very friendly and forthcoming. It's located in the Champagne region and close to Les Vertus, one of the villages where you can go get champaign directly at the property. Breakfast is very good with a lot of choice. Eggs however (see what I didn't like) are a shame.
Cons: The property, the restaurant, the breakfast and the service being perfect, it definitely deserves better omelette than the ready made ones from egg powder. It just tastes terribly and is an insult to the taste buds. I never understood what hotel managers think they will gain from using such a terrible product!? It's an aberration of our industrial society, and the lack of quality and taste is in stark contrast with the dinner served in the restaurant. Please, please scramble your eggs in a fry pan. You're in the middle of the countryside, you must be surrounded by fresh eggs...
Good 6.7
Pros: The room was clean and a great size for a family. Great location and fabulous dinner.
Cons: The bathroom would have benefitted from having a shower. Staff on arrival were welcoming but not as attentive in the dining room.

Pros: Very little
Cons: Bed uncomfortable. Room furnishings spartan. Air con did not work. Minibar empty and disconnected. Restaurant not in the hotel but at next door property felt as if caught in a time warp with mediocre food. I could not recommend this hotel and would not stay again
Good 7.1
Pros: Good location for an overnight stay suited our journey plan. Excellent restaurant attached. Not cheap, but very good quality and good service. Good private car park. Breakfast adequate, but choice minimal. Soft-boiled egg available on request. Very good shower in room.
Cons: No lift. Minimal bedroom storage. Room safe bolted to floor, and effectively un-useable. No tea & coffee making equipment in room.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very friendly. Had problems with the shower and we got instant fix. Restaurant is next door but very good with friendly patron.
Cons: Hotel was almost empty so lacked character - mid march is very much out of season
