Overview

Minutes from downtown Ardmore, Oklahoma, the Best Western Plus Ardmore Inn & Suites sits in the lake-and-prairie country of Chickasaw Country. Quiet rooms bring free Wi-Fi, a coffee maker, and an iron, with king beds and kitchenettes in select rooms. About 10 miles south, Oklahoma State Parks runs Lake Murray State Park, the state's first and largest, where 12,500 acres of rolling hills wrap a clear lake beneath the 1930s Tucker Tower. Downtown Ardmore's brick-lined Main Street, the Goddard Center for the arts, and area dining sit close, while Lake Murray adds golf, trails, and a swimming beach. The park's marina and historic cabins round out an easy southern-Oklahoma stay. Set about halfway between Oklahoma City and Dallas on Interstate 35, Ardmore makes a natural pause, with the lake's 18-hole golf course, sandy swimming beach, miles of ATV and hiking trails, and the historic Tucker Tower nature center filling a full day outdoors.
