9.3 Excellent
Pros: Glen na Smole is a lovely property which is maintained to a very high standard. There is a spacious conservatory for breakfast and a large living room too. The house is in the middle of countryside so very quiet and with attractive views on all sides. When we asked for a number to phone a taxi, the landlady very kindly drove us into town herself and also recommended somewhere to eat that evening which proved a very good choice. All in all, the property was much better for some others which charged a lot more which we had stayed in on the same holiday.
Cons: We had a twin bedded room at our request and my only criticism is that the beds were rather narrow.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our lovely room and bath. ALSO the delicious breakfast and the friendly easy way our host had. She even got my washing in when it rained!Fab friendly dog.Felt at home.

Pros: Beautiful location, Executive Suite was spectacular, friendly and attentive staff in all areas of the hotel, great food. No complaints whatsoever.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really lovely hotel and the hospitality from the staff was just fantastic. The grounds are amazing, though it is a shame a lot of it is inaccessible to non golfers - other than that everything was perfect and we will definitely be back.
Cons: As i said everything was perfect apart from the lack of access to the grounds as alot of it is taken up for golfers. Other than this everything was great :)

Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money and wonderful resort
Cons: Despite we booked a family room they said for safety reasons their policy doesn’t allow 2 adults and 3 small children in one room!! And for this reason they wanted us to book an extra room. I can’t understand is it safe to keep a child by himself in one room or to split each parent in one room by himself!!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great views and scenery. The Spa is amazing and has a good variety of treatments. The food was also brilliant!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfasts had an excellent choice. Staff were attentive and friendly. Comfortable seating and nicely laid out tables. The meal in the Hugo's was excellent. Even though the hotel was extremely busy it was very enjoyable to eat there with friends. The bedroom was very comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was excellent.
Cons: Unfortunately for us it got very busy with families later in our stay and there was noticeably more noise during breakfasts. It was much less relaxing. Similarly, it was more crowded in the bar restaurant in the evening and difficult to get seating as no reservations were possible. In the bedrooms there was a continuous drone from machinery which was not the room air conditioning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food in Hugo’s Restaurant was out of this world, never tasted anything like it. The location is perfect so peaceful and tranquil. We were in the Executive Suite for the night and the room was stunning so spacious, spotless and had amazing views. Staff were so helpful and attentive to any needs. All in all our stay was perfect and we will 100% be returning here v soon.
4.3 Okay
Pros: So expensive for nothing special

Pros: This hostel/B&B is so nice. Very close to the Wicklow Way. Delicious full breakfasts. Very comfortable common areas. Rebecca cooked for us one night - the food was fresh, delicious, and very reasonably priced. It was so nice to order from there menu and not have to go out. My husband and I had a double bed in a room with a shared bath and our teenage son had a bed in the 8 bed mixed dorm. Both accommodations were excellent. I would love to go back and stay at this place again!
Cons: The showers were actually a little too hot, maybe I just couldn't figure out the temperature controls :)
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice decors and views. There are 2 mini-horses and 1 dog there, lovely.
Cons: Location is 2km away from the Wicklow Way and 5km away from Roundwood. In the middle of nowhere for people on foot. To me, the staff are inflexible and unfriendly.

Cons: Nothing, all was great.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The view was nice and the host was as well.
Cons: It has a family room but not very welcoming to kids. It is a hostel though, but if you have kids I would stay somewhere else. Also say private restroom but others were using it. It’s also a long drive to get out there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I cannot tell you how friendly the people are here. Special mention must go to Rebecca and Ann (the laundry lady) who went above and beyond to make our stay such an amazing one. The place is so peaceful. I could have easily stayed for longer. It was comfortable and homely and the food was delicious. We arrived with no transport and I would say that having your own transport is pretty much essential in this location, but Rebecca was incredibly kind and helped us out a lot. Would completely recommend this location to anyone. The views are out of this world.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Be ready to drive up the steep gravel road
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The structure is located in a very nice and quiet area in the middle of the nature, perfect to explore the surrounding area. The room was large, bright and clean as well as the private bathroom. The staff was very kind and helpful, suggesting tracks around the property and available to listen our questions. The breakfast was included in the price and very tasty, with a great variety of choices. There is also the opportunity to have dinner for an extra price. The Wi-Fi connection was good and pretty fast. Parking is free right outside the structure.
Cons: The only negative aspect is that the temperature in the room was too warm and we could not find a thermostat to adjust it. The dinner was expensive considering the quantity of the food.

Cons: The room hadn’t been hoovered and the carpet was stained There was a large wedding on one of the nights and whilst it’s understandable that this can happen I do believe that some info could have been given beforehand to enable a decision to be made as to whether to stay. We were kept awake by loud music and comings and going’s until 3am

Cons: The breakfast was very poor. The breakfast service was not a 3 star hotel service. The quality of the food served ( bacon and Sausage ) was not hotel standard, it was fatty and tasteless . There was no offer of a refill of tea or coffee at the table. To be asked to sign a “ room charge bill “ whist eatting breakfast is unprofessional and rude. I mentioned the poor breakfast at my check out And thankfully the Lady checking me out was so helpful. I did not get her name but she had black hair and braces. She was so lovely and very professional in her job so thank you. :)

Cons: The bed had a king size mattress on top of a double sized base meaning that iyou rolled off edge of you weren't careful. Electrics not working properly 3 switches did nothing. The girl who seemed to everything did not speak of understand English very well and we had to write name etc down so shecould copy it. . Included breakfast if you can call it that consisted of cerial.Orange juice , tea or coffee made with not water from an urn accompanied by supermarket bread with processed cheese some meats or jams.there were some pain o chocola t but these disappeared along with two of the guests. The room itself was also very noisy being next to wooden (uncarpetted) stairs plus no soundproofing.
