The staff Everything but the staff.
It was a great price, and the hotel staff was very friendly. The amenities were very nice as well.
Appeared to be clean, adequate, et cetera. Big, many rooms - a hotel as opposed to all the motels in Eureka. But as with so many places, only affordable if you're well off or they have a special low price.
The bed was insanely comfortable and the night audit that greeted me was very nice and very accommodating. I've been in hospitality for 6 years and she was a perfect example of how people should be treated.
I loved the breakfast and the bed I had a service dog but because she was emotional support she wasnt considered a service dog. That really upset me
Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, great location. Good breakfast. Loved pool and hottub. Our room wasn't ready when we checked in.
Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly.
Great service, receptive. Hottub in Garden was great- very clean and sell kept. Good location, easy to find. No complaints
Once I got over the fact that the facility was in fact an older place from a time of different esthetics, and also as a result I started to appreciate the quaint character. As it is older, it was harder to get my gear to my room-the parking is really weird. The bathroom is smaller and the older nature of the place made it less convenient than more modern hotels
It was very different. Ants in the room. Weird old drapes.
This place is a historic building that was built in the 20s. It is styled from that area and has that authentic old times look. They have a resturant and a bar on the first floor. It was 100 dollars for my room and it was beautiful. Definitely worth the price for the beauty and history.
Cool historic hotel in a great location at a great price
Guy at the check-in was very friendly and polite. Hotel has character. Continental breakfast provided. Wifi doesn't seem to reach other than in the lobby. Not luxurious but clean
Older building that is very interesting & its history is well preserved & displayed. Great location close to downtown and suprisingly quite. Breakfast
Unexpected $100 room deposit!
Friendly staff. Felt like we were stepping back to an earlier time.
The Desk Clerk was extremely helpful providing guidance on our travel routes. We were on a road trip from Seattle to San Diego along the Pacific Coast during an extended rainy spell. Lots of road closures due to mudslides. She got online to check our route for us and gave us alternates to continue our trip. She was a fantastic help and very pleasant as well.
The place is new and I would expect it to be clean and well maintained, and it was. Staff was freindly and the breakfast had a nice selection. Beds were comfortable. Parking spaces are narrow. For the two days I was there two landscape trucks with trailers took up 12 of the parking spaces.
Ocation Room needs micro wave TV needs HD Shower door very clean, but installed inside out...
Nothing other than location which was noisey No A/C - Staff recommended bracing entry door and patio door open for ventilation but patio was 75 feet directly above Hiway 101 and SUPER NOISEY. NO BREAKFAST This hotel is playing on the similar name of another very good hotel with a similar
The rooms were large and very clean. The staff was phenominal.
The beautiful rooms and the friendly staff The view was disappointing because of rundown municipal/industrial facilities in the estuary as viewed from our room.
Sun coming in the window in the afternoon. The lighting in the rooms was awful, you were asked to flush a certain way and pull the curtains a certain way. No breakfast at all. Mostly I didn't like the layout and the darkness of the room or the horrible lighting in the ceiling.
Easy access, very friendly and helpful staff. the dead bolt on the door didn't latch. no hangers in the closet.
Employees were very friendly. The room was quiet, big, had a comfy bed. Front and back doors with a patio on the back. back patio wasnt private and you can't smoke on it, you have to walk down to an approved smoking area, not far away but inconvenient in the cold, middle of the night.
It was easy to find. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was nice and very clean. Road noise was really loud.
Wonderful room, hotel is close to everything yet set back from the street behind a house on a private road two queen beds of different softness. Had a few ants show up on the second day, nothing big
The room was quiet even with a completely full hotel. The location is just OK. The view of the bay is not particularly pretty with commercial properties and a tank farm prominent.
Jesse greeted us upon arrival and displayed AMAZING customer service. Everything else was also satisfying, Thank you!! =]
Great ammenities! Nice, heated pool, 2 hot tubs, pool table, small gym, continental breakfast and heated lamps outside. Refrigerator & microwave inside. Worth the extra cost when compared to what's by. Continental breakfast was small & crowded, but hey.
It's right where everything is downtown you could walk to a lot of places and it's easy to get in and out of and plenty of room to park they even have a limo that takes you to dinner for free at night!!!! The were very clean and very accommodating!!!! The stuff was also very nice! The hot tub and fire places in the oasis was just like what it says, an oasis!!!! It made the best of our vacation!!!! Also the restaurant onsite is delicious!!!!
Checked in at 4pm to find out that they had a limo service that took us out to eat. Driver suggested a wonderful restaurant called 511. We will be back. Beds were extremely comfortable
They've updated certain aspects of the room: TV, bed, and dresser. The room itself was clean but the smell bothered me and the bathroom was small. Very outdated motel. Smelled like stale cigarettes and damp carpet.
I never really pay attention to hotel staff when I'm checking in at 1am and leaving in the morning. It doesn't seem that important. I just want to sleep. In this case, however, on multiple occasions, I noticed some very nice people working at the hotel. The lady in the eating area was extremely kind and attentive. The desk guy - I don't know what you call him, but in the morning, the man working the check-out, when asked by my husband where the zoo was, took out a map, showed him the way, and then gave him the map. He really took time to help us out. Also, I slept well, and I have a nasty bad back. So, that means the beds were tolerable. I was exhausted, but if the bed was bad, I would have woken up from the pain through the night. That didn't happen, so I'm going to say the beds were good. The breakfast - well, really - the eggs in the morning. I do not like powdered eggs, and while I realize its a convenience for you, they are truly disgusting things to feed your guests.
Clean room The hallway had a weird smell. The rest of the hotel was fine.
The front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service. The room was clean and orderly. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and I slept very well. Good price as well.
The price was decent The owner was incredibly rude
It was cheap and the breakfast was good Honestly the staff was a bit unpleasant to deal with, I think cause we were backpackers they didn't like us.. They weren't very friendly or helpful.
comfortable & convenient road noise
Easy to check in an out. Very clean bathroom Carpets are kind of old, smelled a slight cigarette smoke odor.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They were eager to be of assistance and professional. The dining room was clean, the breakfast was good and a variety of items were available. The carpets need cleaning!
Carpeting was brand new (could still smell it, but not so strong that I couldn't sleep) so previous reports of dirty carpet have been addressed. Rooms nice sized and clean, bed was comfortable. Microwave and fridge were an added plus. Hot breakfast included bacon - yum. This is a standard mid-price hotel that was clean, convenient and relatively quiet, except for noise from Hwy 101, which was masked by AC unit during the night. Would definitely stay there again. We were on the second floor and there was no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up the flight of stairs. It does appear they are building one on the back side of the building, but I didn't ask what the ETA was for it being finished. I was told before I finished checking in that there wasn't an elevator, so I was aware of this. An elevator would be a definite improvement to the hotel.
The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Rooms were comfortable and extremely clean. I would highly recommend this Comfort Inn. Can't think of anything I didn't like !
The room was clean and the pillows were super soft. We enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi. The best part was the breakfast. There was so much food to choose from and it was delicious.
The cost and the updated room decor. They put us in a smoking room although we reserved non smoking.
Asked for a copy of photo ID to keep on file for 6 mos. Rude and condensending staff at the reception Faucet was clogged up Only one towel of each size for two adults Heather was not working
That there was a lock on the door. People hanging/loitering in parking lot. No shampoo or conditioner.
The basic rate was cheap. The service was cheap. Wi Fi was pay per device. Staff was very curt and lacked empathy.
I did get a complete refund. I was distressed to find a cockroach in my room and the uncarpeted floor was so dirty that it only took a few minutes for my grandsons bare feet to get completely filthy!
Motel 6 had my credit card number, then required a copy of my drivers lic and my passenger's drivers lic! Motel 6 stated they required this info because of the local police dept. Police dept later denied having Motel 6 Staff be required to copy driver or passenger's drivers license. With ID theft on the rise, do you really want to give your credit card and photo ID to someone you don't know?
I used my shower towel to wipe all the dust off the floor, and I left it on the floor, but when I got back at night the same towel was folded and put in place with the clean towels, they charge extra for Wi-Fi and also if you bring an extra person
Convenient location. Beds were comfortable. Towels were fluffy and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The tissue box was empty. There were no coffee sachets. Hot water in the shower was quite erratic. Bathmat was not provided. Internet was not available the morning after check-in.
your company name, and they gave a pretty good breakfast holes in the walls, toilet was loose and wolbbly,no cable guide, no complimentary toiletries
It's an older hotel, but was comfortable. The room had a small frig, and coffee maker, and it was nice to have breakfast included.
This facility was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was very good !!
Staff very friendly. Easy to get to and out of. There was no air conditioner and the room did smell a little. But other than that seemed pretty clean.
Room was hot and there was no air conditioning unit. Had to open the windows making things much noisier next to that busy road.
The toilet wouldn't flush, no air conditioning at all. $200 deposit that we don't get back for 3+ days.
The owners were very helpful. The beds very comfortable, very clean Not a big choice for breakfast
Nothing. This place was a nightmare. The rooms were dirty and the owner of the hotel is a lunatic. We went in to book our room and the one of the maids tried to help him find our reservation by pointing at the screen and he smacked her arm. This place is dirty and over priced and no customer service. The hotel cleanliness, service or friendliness
Room was very clean, facilities seemed clean. Bed was creaky and a bit uncomfortable, couldn't get thermostat to work.
the wifi there is fast and it's close to a lot of good places.
The Hotel was nice and big! The room was definitely worth the price. We got in pretty late, but the beds were super comfortable. I also loved how the shower had a tub being a mom of little ones made this stay easy and bathing them! The carpet was dirty my daughters socks were dirty after she was crawling around, but it didn't bother us. A little dirt won't hurt :)
The beds felt like a foam pad on a cardboard box.
breakfast wifi 1. old toilets which use way too much water! Need to be replaced. You advertise that you want to save water by not doing laundry daily! 2. needs more sound proofing; right on top of Hwy 101 : traffic 24 hours a day 3. upstairs - asked for downstairs (ok I needed the exercise!)
It was right on the main drive through town so it made it very easy to find. Bed was old and very uncomfortable. Was suddenlink cable so no Viacom channels on the TV. Heard all the noise from the outside and the toilet from the next room.
The price of the hotel was excellent for its location. It's only a 15 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of downtown, and the drive to the Samoa cookhouse was less than 10 minutes. A McDonald's is located right across the street. The room was clean, and the shower was hot with adequate water pressure (this is important to me when traveling). The property also has a very nice indoor pool. Although the room was clean, it was in bad need of renovation: the linoleum was peeling in the shower, there were holes in the carpet and the window curtains, and there were stains on the mirror in the bathroom. I would not recommend this hotel to light sleepers, as highway 101 was right below us and there was quite a bit of traffic noise in the room.
The hotel was cheap so our one night stand was bearable It smelt bad, the bed looked dirty, the bathtub has stains on it and there were no outlets nearby to charge our phones
-Pretty close to downtown -Cheap (but I would say almost not cheap enough) -Check in time one hour later than listed on website -Free "Breakfast" one hour shorter than listed in in-room manuel -"Breakfast" was toast, butter, milk, and orange juice. No fruit, no oatmeal, no pastries. Just. Plain. White. Toast. -Somebody else's beard hair -Shower constantly dripping from holes that seemed to serve no purpose other than to drip.
