Pros:There was crazy traffic on 95 on our way to the outer banks and it was really late. We got off at the nearest exit and got a room there through Kayak. The desk clerk said this was not true and got a little rude with my husband, for no particular reason but we just wanted a room, so we ignored it. The room was pretty clean and good enough to stay in for one night when we were tired. The towels were tiny and about as rough as 80 grit sandpaper. It's fine for a night, if you're really tired but wouldn't be my choice for anything beyond that. The price was cheap, which was good since we had already paid for our stay in OBX too.

Cons:Border around base of wall falling off and grossly dirty, dead smashed bugs on walls, could barely get in bathroom as it was so small you had to straddle toilet to get door closed again, almost fell in shower bc floor was so slick, and towels were thin and very small (not much bigger than hand towel), beds were old and pretty firm, but they were on rolling frames so they didn't stay against wall - I recommend only staying here in complete desperation if no where else is available. Oh!, they also tried to charge us more than what "booking.com" and said would be charged, I had to "make" them honor the correct price and the guy obviously was irritated by this and gave me only 1 room key.

Cons:The first thing I noticed was the black mold in the room, secondly the used bar of soap in the shower thirdly three very thin and small pillows on a king size bed. There was exposed electrical above the sink. My husband and I woke up with sore throats and couldn't breath. The bed was itchy and I felt like something was crawling on me all night. Not to mention the bed was hard as a rock.
Pros:The location was right off the highway and surrounded by restaurants. The staff was friendly.
Cons:We had no towels and no TV remote when we checked in. The beds are small (fulls, not doubles) and not very comfortable.
Cons:When me and my fiance got in the room, it smelled like a cat had peed in the room. The bathroom walls were disgusting as well as the toilet. The bed was very uncomfortable. No trashcan in the room. Lights did not work. It was a terrible stay. Won't stay there again.
