The gangs, prostitutes, and neighborhood.
the hotel is close to all the historical sites and to the metro station.
the hotel room was very small. it was difficult to fit in the double bed. the neighborhood is not safe, you should be really careful at night. the wifi internet connection did not work on our first day at the hotel. we had to ask the staff to change our room because it overlooked a wall and it was pitch black inside the room even during the day.
price is very reasonable
staff can smile more
Nice clean rooms, great breakfast included. Walking distance to the Metro. Best to take a taxi to the hotel first time, but to get to the Metro, walk out the front door, take the small street that empties almost directly into the front door (Stournari), walk 3 blocks or so to 3 September street, turn right and walk 6 short blocks to Omonoia Square. This also avoids the worst sections around the hotel... 10 minutes to the Acropolis by Metro from there.
The location is very sketchy. Omonoia is a seedy place at night, full of hookers and druggies. The women did not feel good walking at night. I got pickpocketed (my backpack actually) walking back after dark one day...
The hotel is close to the main attractions and easy to find.
The area around the hotel isn't that nice, but the hotel is just ten minutes away from omonia square with a variety of transportation possibilities. The breakfast was very easy.
all days was the same breakfast, there was no variety
Convienant to the area I was traveling...
The person that worked the late night shift was the rudest person I have ever encountered during my travels. He cared more about watching tv and smoking his cigerettes than in helping me or any of my 17 passengers. Terrible!!
Helpful staffs and good position for tourists.
A very fair price for a budget hotel
very small bathroom
