The location is perfect if you want to go sight seeing. Located close to metro stations. The property was secure and felt safe. Beautifully presented with excellent facilities.
The location. Centrally located in the Plaka area. We could walk to the Acropolis and most places.
The rooms were very small so much that we could hardly fit our 2 suitcases. Also, there is nowhere to eat breakfast. The bathroom is tiny too. This is not a hotel. They have a room upstairs with food but no tables. They tell you your choice is to take the food on a tray down flights of stairs or eat outside. Also, it wasn’t very good quality.
I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff is extremely helpful and nice, location couldn't be better and the decoration is super cute. I will definitely stay in this hotel when I visit Athens again. It is beyond expectation and perfect choice to discover and experience Athens!
The people were great! Extremely nice all the time and helpful with everything we needed (except for the restaurant recommendation: stay away from the Estia taverna downstairs). Also, the room was spotlessly cleaned every day. The location was also great, in the old town, very close to everything.
I think that they are highly skilled in photoshop, as they did wonders to the pictures of the house and rooms. I am normally looking at 4* hotels for such trips, but I was tricked into booking this place by the location, the photos and yes, by the reviews on booking.com... A quick list of not so good stuff: - the house was nicely painted on the outside, but inside it was quite hip maybe in the 70’s - The bathroom... the wooden window was really ran down. And there was a bad smell in the whole room - Breakfast. Very poor choice and low quality. There is an amazing place downstairs (Parthenon) where you can have a nice breakfast Although we paid for the superior room, it was the same mini room but with a small balcony overlooking the square.. MAYBE the only room that makes sense to book here would be the suite, as it’s bigger and you can see the acropolis. But again, there are MUCH nicer places out there for that price. Last words: disappointed in this accommodation and shocked about its review score on booking.com
The location is perfect. The superior room with balcony to the square is quite small but the view is gorgeous. The staff is great.
The door from the room to the corridor is not soundproof. It is a non-smoking hotel but guests are allowed to smoke in their balconies. I wonder why because it wasn´t nice to sit on the balcony or just had the door open when the other guests smoked below or next to you. I suggest that the hotel prohibit the smoking totally.
