The breakfast area is small. Food sometimes runs out and no refilling.

We had a lovely room overlooking the canal. Location was perfect. Aveiro is a very picturesque town with boats on the canals and plenty of bars and restaurants. Hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. Room was modern and comfortable - maybe a little stark - very 'IKEA'. Quite roomy with a fridge. Good sized bathroom (shower). Bed was comfortable and there were a selection of complimentary treats - fruit, cakes, chocolate. Breakfast was quite good with a selection of hot and cold savoury dishes, plenty of cakes and pastries, cereals, fruit and yoghurt. Brilliant machine squeezing fresh orange juice and wonderful Nespresso coffee machine. Loved it! The breakfast china is really unusual and I believe locally made (Alegre) and can be purchased in Reception.
No natural, unsweetened yogurt for breakfast and the cereals were a bit odd! No salad or tomatoes. Apparently parking is limited but as we came by train (quite a long walk from the station) that didn't affect us.
