The theme park an water park My room had mold parking is only for guest in building 1 or 2 i had to walk long distance just to find parking 3rd party sites dont inform you of what building your staying in the Building we stayed in looked like a former prison i would never stay at mt Olympus ever
We appreciated the free parking to the theme parks and access to the private water park the only resort guests were able to use. I did not like that there was so many buildings of the resort. We were building 25 out of 30 something and it was the furthest from the main building and parks. It would have been nice if was disclosed upon reservation that the building might not be on the main resort. The room itself was okay, but there were a few bugs and the bathroom sink had large chips in it. The building Pool area was unavailable, windows blacked out /door locked, it would have been nice to relax by the pool during down time. For being such a large attraction of the Dells, I would have thought Mount Olympus would take better care of all their properties, not just main building and parks.
We made several calls to service bathroom and heater and person came after 45min and said nothing he can do about it. They said all is working while they could not get heater blow hot air. It was blowing cold air.
almost eveerthing wish pool had a walk in entrance
Easy to get to everything! Couldn't understand some of the employees.
Room was available earlier than check in time. Too far away from main resort/waterpark. Rooms do not look like the ones adverised. Heater didn't work properly, toilet didn't flush properly. Door to room wouldn't open sometimes. Waterpark is too small for the number of people that stay there. Front desk completely ignored my complaints.
Water park and amusement park Dirty room, pubic hair on the bathroom floor, trash in the beds, trash in the stair well, ground in gum and candy in the carpets, dirt all over the halls, dirty public restrooms, no breakfast, no coffee pots in the rooms, the off-site buildings are run down and remind me of a roach motel, FOR THE PRICE I EXPECTED MUCH MORE
The check in process is fast, facility is well maintained. Room is clean. Location of the room is far. Need to drive to access water park. The Remote in the room doesn't work. most importantly, one of the bed in the room, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. I later found out that the mattress was put on "backwards". The pillow top was facing down? And my son and I was sleeping on the "bottom". He seems ok with it, but I didn't get a good night sleep at all. I even got headache and backache next morning. The clean staff should check everything when getting the room ready for next guest.
The indoor waterpark was a lot of fun. Slides were very fun and the Flyin Mayan was a great boat ride. Go to the indoor waterpark in the morning to avoid lines. Arcade was fun as well, a little small but my son had a lot of fun there. The general decor was very well done. Riverwalk is very nice touch. The outdoor waterpark is fun, but small compared to competitors I believe and thought it would have been bigger. Definitly they would need to upgrade the outdoor park. Room smelled like old wet clothes and cleaning crew did not vacuum the room (this was obvious). Bed comforters not very comfortable. Air conditioners are loud, you can hear air conditioners from the room above you as well. The fan in the bathroom is very loud and you cannot shut it off so if you want to turn on the light in the bathroom before sleeping, prepare for some noise. Phone system is confusing, had buttons for all the areas (waterpark, front desk, retaurant, etc), but they don't work so have to call 0 to get operator to direct your calls. I ask staff when is the fireworks for 4th of July, where should we go. The cleaning staff don't know some of these little things and always have to go to the front desk or call 0 on the phone. I think for a "resort" there should be a program to ensure all staff knows about the activities going on. We also did mini golf, and it would have been perfect, but they didn't have any fountains turned on so you see a lot of mossy covered puddles and for me if I shell out about 7 dollars for mini golf, part of the experience is the fountains being on. No soap or shampoo in the waterpark either. Wave pool is very small and not what I would expect from a wavepool and it is far away from the outdoor waterpark.
The water park was great! Nice balcony with the room. Friendly staff. Would have liked a bar of soap or 2 as opposed to a wall container with shower gel in it.
Clean and organized. The indoor water park was too small and not enough tables for families to sit. We were lucky that the place was not busy, otherwise, it would have been very difficult for the kids to play and have a good time.
The outdoor hot tub was a nice feature close to the building. Our room was not clean (burnt out lightbulb, light fixture full of dust, tile floor not clean and mirrors full of toothpaste or other spots), beds were old and saggy in the middle, cabinets door was no longer square and room boasted a patio but had a shared deck with other rooms. Website stated that waterpark opened at 8:30 am. We planned our day around that since we were there for a sports tournament. The water park did not open at 8:30 and we didn't get to use the water park at all as we planned for advertised hours. Overall facilities seem dated and in need of repairs. The room rate was higher than I've paid for this resort in the past and not a good value.
Staff was very friendly & helpful. Nice décor throughout the building. Fun family time!
I loved how friendly the staff was. They really made us feel welcome. Also loved how the water park was not near our room so we did not smell chlorine the entire time.
Grounds were nice layout was nice Mold in tub, in door and blood on bathroom walls. Then found drain was dirty with hair I don't think bathroom was ever cleaned
Good fun at the water park with the grand kids. Accommodations were average.
We ended up staying in the golf villa which at first was a little bit of a bummer being that we were unable to use the underground tunnel to get to the indoor water park. But after getting to our room it didn't even matter anymore because of how nice our room was. Our room was pretty secluded and not much traffic at all and we had a hot tub host outside our door. Inside we had a full kitchen and dishes TV with lots of channels and we even had Wi-Fi. The other thing that helped us forget about the underground tunnel was that all we had to do was dial "0" and there was a shuttle on the way to pick us up and take us anywhere in the resort. The food was great, from breakfast at kbg to room delivered pizza. The water park was a blast as well, and it was fun to sit at the bar. Over all it was a great trip and a much needed vacation. There is only a couple things that bummed me out and I couldn't get over. The biggest thing was that the indoor water park had no hot tub. When we first got In there we looked all over for one. The other thing I was really hoping for the indoor to be bigger, but then again they had enough activities that I eventually forgot about that.
Changing area in the bathroom could be bigger and maybe add more private type booths to change in with guest who have smaller children
The waterparks and activities were great for the kids. There was a wide variety of things to do that kept the boys bouncing from here to there. The parks were entertaining. The wave pool was definitely more for my younger son as opposed to my older one though. The Chophouse was magnificent! We left a note for housekeeping asking for a light bulb to be changed and a slow draining sink be fixed but it wasn't done. The carpet in our room was filthy; white socks turned black and it didn't come out in the wash. I was also disappointed by the amount of rust in the indoor waterpark and the floors of the pools was also in disrepair. Disappointed by the lack of upkeep and presentation. I was also surprised that there was only one gift shop.
Indoor waterpark..I enjoy being able to go from my room to the indoor waterpark via undeground hallway. It was our xmas vacation
The resort had this great northwoods feel that I was looking for and the bonfires were great. I wandered out after the kids went to bed and enjoyed the stars and the fire for an hour or so. It made for a really nice fall weekend.
All the activities for the kids, multiple water parks, trails, s'mores, The customer service was outstanding too, not used to that during summer season at the dells. It was very clean for the dells too and it was quiet. nothing at all. It didn't have a hot tub though
This place is very family oriented, especially for younger children. My children are older and they liked how quaint and friendly it is. For us, it was a plus that it is out of town a little ways, yet close enough that you could walk to town on the River Path.
Cabin was cozy The bed is one of the worst I have ever slept on
The Meadowbrook is everything you could want out of a cabin, except in a hotel. We stayed in a bunkhouse room, which had a mini "cabin" with two twin beds behind the log walls with windows... Very cool for little kids. Nice amenities; 24-hr fire pit, decent kitchen set up with dishes and the few things you might need in a mini kitchen including a small two burner hot plate unit. Decent beds and a nice deck. The playground and water park are fun for kids 6 and under. Clean facilities and friendly staff. We will definitely come back to stay Little in the way of vending machines available, no room services, front desk clears out and closes at 11.
Really good price from Kayak, which made our first time at the Dells rather enjoyable. Basic amenities compensated for, which is perfect when exploring the Dells. The most important spots of the indoor pool area were usable, which is perfect for bad weather. The resort was going through some renovations at the time, which robbed us the sports bar, half of the arcade, and a third of the park under repairs. No continental breakfast, and management was a little disorganized while we were there.
One of the queen beds was severly dipped in the center making it horrible to sleep in. There also appeared to be mik
The location was perfect-close to the main strip without having to be right on it. It was a little tired looking but for the price since we weren't spending much time there anyway it was good. The hotel does look a little run down. The inside pool the one night we tried to use it was crowded (as outdoor pools and indoor watermark close at I think 9) and was very dirty, couldn't even see the bottom...
Indoor water activities were nice for our young children(ages 4, 3, and 1). Price was reasonable and staff was friendly. Also, the location was nice being away from the strip. Hotel is outdated and needs numerous renovations. Many of the outdoor water areas for young children were not open as they were being renovated. Beds were uncomfortable.
Location was great and the staff was very nice. The rooms were older and the bathroom wasn't so clean. The beds were uncomfortable but we only stayed for one night so it was fine.
Location off highway is convenient, and staff was friendly. We stayed for the low room rate, but quickly found out why when we arrived. This is not a 3 star Dells resort; more of a 1 or 2 star budget/value hotel. The resort is old and outdated with subpar facilities and amenities. Our room was dirty/grimy (e.g., popcorn pieces still on the floor from a previous guest), and was not stocked with bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. This is not a 3 star Dells resort.
Kids had fun at waterpark and Arcade. Not super crowded for a holiday weekend. Hotel is showing some wear. Had to wait twice at front desk despite no line. Also same in Arcade. It was like the staff didn't want to step up and help.
family loved the water park and the room was very comfortable. All the employees we came in contact with were awesome. Walking down a hall they would say hi and ask if there was anything they could help us with. We will return for another vacation.
Great Wolf Lodge was a great family friendly hotel. My two year old daughter loved it!! Nothing really, maybe no sink in the bathroom but I'm being really picky.
It was a great experience. I really liked how all the water parks were connected together. As great as it was, I feel it was a bit over priced.
The rooms were clean, spacious and updated. The waterpark was amazing and had several areas for my 3 and 2 year olds to have a great time. Higher priced but well worth it for our family! I couldn't believe they didn't have affordable breakfast options, a buffet would have to be worth the effort...
Loved all the different water activities for my 2 yr old. Thanks.
There are a handful of different pool areas relatively close together which made it easy to keep the kids busy. They have kids activites throughout the day. Its within walking distance to restraunts and shopping! My main complaint was the room service. We had to ask for more pillows 3 times. There were also a crowd of adults hanging outside the rooms and deemed it appropriate to congest the hallway for hours and talk loudly until about midnight. Some furniture in the room was obviously broken. The lazy river is like 2 ft long.
They had friendly staff I was charged an extra 60 dollars at the end of my stay and I wasn't aware until I checked my bank statement. Not cool . I don't even know why I was charged.
Lovely hotel, great staff, comfortable clean rooms. I was very pleased! Thank you! Nothing
This is a quiet and beautiful property in the middle of the hustle and the bustle of the Wisconsin Dells vacation metroplex. 1] Black mold growing inside of the toilet tank made our bathroom smell funky! 2] Noise from the loud television in the next room woke us up several times during the night. We had asked for a quiet room at check in.
The upgrades to the lobby Old outdated rooms
When I checked in the woman was there for her last day at work there. She was extremely nice and you wouldn't know it was her last day. Place was a bit dated but I was told they are renovating and updating the hotel. It was worn but my room was comfortable and clean. I would revisit absolutely.
Room was clean, facilities were nice, and staff was friendly. Room was significantly overpriced (low value). Reservations booked online via other (non-Hilton) siites are given the least desirable room locations. Fire alarms went off twice at 2:00 a.m., received several prank calls throughout stay, and someone with a card key attempted to open our door at 6:00 a.m.
Location, front desk employees, room size, old but working a/c Very dated, pools look dirty and damaged,
Get a room with hot tub. Great after long day.
I like the swimming areas. I have young children 4&5 and they loved it. My niece who is 10 also enjoyed herself. The rooms are spacious and it's right on the main strip, so it's convenient. For breakfast it was only cereal, oranges, boiled eggs and toast. That was a little bland but I guess it was fine.
The room was nice, but the sliding door to the balcony was off the rail so it didn't work, if it was nice enough to sit out on this would have been a problem. Pool and slides were perfect for my 6 year old. I did get great service from the person running the Neptune Bar & Grill, but had to wait quite some time for it as it seemed she was the only one there. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired, only things available were cereal, toast, hard boiled eggs and sliced oranges. Also the staff didn't seem to be prepared for the breakfast crowd as we had to stand around waiting for someone who was refilling the machine. All in all it wasn't a bad experience and worth what we spent, but this place does definitely need some updating. Had we spent a little more money to stay in the updated theme rooms my review might be different, but this was good.
The cabin was very clean and the staff was nice. I liked the 3 seasons room and the fact that we had 2 bathrooms was nice since we had a group that needed to quickly come back after golf, shower, and then go eat. A 4:00 PM check in seems very late for the rate we paid. I think 2:00 would be reasonable. The room I booked said it could hold 8 people and had 3 bedrooms but there were only 2 bedrooms and only 2 beds total so some guys had to sleep on the floor.
There was peace and quiet as the resort is secluded and units are far apart. Te grounds are well maintained. Yes, there are a few strong house keeping rules that I became over-anxious about keeping tabs of kitchen utensils and bathroom supplies. Please ligten up. I'm sure your guests are decent people who'd never take anything not belonging to them.
Great rooms, spacious, comfortable. There was a leak from the ceiling during a rain storm. We called and they said it always happens and not to worry about it. Hmm....
Very clean and comfortable. We loved the simplicity.
The reason we stay every year is hands down the owners. They are so kind and welcoming, and they are always around to help with any problems. The motel does not have any hidden fees, just one small daily resort fee (which they offer free tickets to Noah's Ark Waterpark for all people in your party so it makes up for the daily fee). The rooms are clean, comfortable and includes a refrigerator and coffee maker. My kids love the indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and outdoor pool. An added bonus is the property is very safe! There is a large frontyard and backyard for the kids to play, and a HUGE park that is two blocks away. Good luck finding a large hotel in the Dells with owners who are always available to help their customers! It is truly a hidden gem, and I cannot wait until we stay again next year.
Very nice overall. Great price and very clean. Walls were a little thin but still very comfortable.
I've been going to Wisconsin Dells since I was a little girl and have always stayed at ITM. This time was with my baby and I feel like over the years it only gets better because every time I stay there they've updated something. It's a great hotel for anyone!
Pool closed too early
Very clean room, check-in was painless, parking was easy. Heard the music from Denny's all night and the heater was so loud every time it kicked on... every ten minutes.
Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Nice breakfast
Friendly staff, clean facilities, free breakfast N/A
We love this hotel in the summer! We get free passes to Chula Vista for the entire stay and that indoor and outdoor Waterpark is excellent for children of all ages! We love the wonderful breakfast too! The kitchen area was very well maintained while we stayed and everyone seemed happy! Lisa, the front desk staff member couldn't have been more professional and friendly; she truly displayed the fact that she wanted us to be happy and willingly went the extra mile-thank you! Our room was perfectly clean and we enjoyed a beverage from the bar, free popcorn and an awesome evening in the pool/sauna and jacuzzi! This is our second summer we have stayed here and we will be back next summer!
Room had peeling wall paper.n looks like they were repairing though
Low priced Could have been cleaner. Air system in rooms didn't work. Building was very cold. No fridge or microwave in rooms.
the price was great. the original person who checked us in was extremely nice and helpful. They had the reservation wrong - was changed promptly night shift front desk man was extremely rude and unhelpful. No mini fridge.
Needed a place on short notice. Clean, friendly enough staff, decent breakfast. Basic accommodations for the price.
Water park pases How dirty it was and old not up to date was not a good hotel
The front evening staff was very professional and helpful! My 15 year old and arrived around 3:00pm and the young woman who checked us in was very helpful with local attractions and the motel itself. I'm overall pretty picky with where I sleep, but this was a last minute trip and I was happy with our stay. Great free pass to the local waterpark too.
Nothing I had to pay twice for this room because the people running it didnt speak english.....
A decent super 8 off interstate. The motel was clean throughout, my room was a bit smaller than usual but I didn't realize at first that it was a handicap room, most noticeable is that the hangers are positioned very low, when hanging my shirts, they almost touched the floor, not a problem but not what I expected. The bathroom was larger than normal, again because this was a handicap unit. The shower was very good, water pressure excellent. The breakfast was very plain, cereal, toast and waffle maker, but again this is probably normal for super 8. The girl at the front desk needs to have a lesson in guest relations however. When I went to check out, the desk clerk's attitude was very unprofessional, she didn't smile at all, acted as though she didn't want to be there. For a young women working the front desk in the morning she should have had a more professional attitude. Maybe she just wasn't trained properly by the owner. I used to work the front desk at a hotel years ago and was taught how to be courteous and polite to guests at all times. Maybe she'll learn over time.
It was located really close to downtown. We could hear the people above us walking all night. The room smelled and their were hairs on the towels. For $170 I was expecting something much better. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in that was more then $100.
NOTHING! Missing comforter; Broken phones, needed to go downstairs to front desk when you needed anything because the phones didn't work. Noise till 3:00 am when finally threatened to call police. AWFULL HORRIBLE.. NO offer to compensate or make amends DON"T STAY HERE!!!!
The girl that checked us in. Dirty room, cold room because heating unit didnt work properly,
I liked the comfort of the beds. I did not like the holes in the wall, the absence of a mini refrigerator/microwave, and the noise. The people above us walked around and we heard every step. The breakfast was also lacking...
Sao very clean! Bed was excellent No complaints at all except parking very tight
Everything! Clean ..centrally located..friendly..loved the 60s retro feel Nothing to dislike
Newly remodeled, nice pools, hot tub and sauna. Very nice staff, great price for what was all included Th e room was a bit small but not bad
The breakfast was great. My son loved the pancake maker. The beds were very comfortable. To much chlorine in the pool
The staff was friendly, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the room was very clean and nice looking. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and comfort of our stay.
Clean and Quiet (off season) Plenty to do close by and at the hotel Nothing-great stay!
Suite was roomy and very clean. Hot tub for adults while children play on waterslides was nice. Pizza places close by for late night snacks. Will stay there in the future.
The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, got a good night's sleep. We will stay there again. Bathroom was a little too small
I love how helpful the front desk guy was. He truly went the extra mile to make me feel welcome, he was super friendly and nice. He provided balls so my kids could play and unwind. It was great. He also recommended some places to dine in at. He was overall wonderful! The price of the room was perfect. It was a nice basic room. I did love that in addition to the traditional shampoo , conditioner and lotion they left 2 makeup remover towelettes. Different I'd good I notice the small stuff.... The 18 yr old who cleaned my room did a bad job making my bed. He just threw the blanket on top of the bed on a angle and the sheets under were rolled down..... I wasn't very content with his lack of effort. The truth is if that's the worst part of my stay I'd say it's a great place!
Very clean and quiet. Great value for an off season stay in the Dells. No comfortable chair in the room.
