Breakfast was excellant, the room is super clean. nice decoration.
Stay there for two nights, on sunday night, unfortunately, the food is only served until 6pm, and We were refused to order food at 6:03pm. It will be better if they can be more flexible.

It's a lovely pub with beautifully appointed rooms.
I had specifically requested a quiet room away from the road. I think I was the only guest staying. Rather than giving me a room in the cottage across the road, they allocated the room above the bar and the front door of the pub facing the main road running through the village. We were so tired from the journey, we just had a bite to eat and wanted to head to bed. I have a very anxious dog that's petrified of cars (hence the request for a quiet room away from the road). Every time someone left the pub, the heavy door underneath our room slammed and the bedroom floor and bed shook.... my dog would be up and barking. This carried on till beyond midnight. When the last guests noisily left the pub at 12.30am (right underneath our bedroom window, not trying remotely to be quiet getting into their car - causing my dog to bark once more), downstairs chairs and tables started to be dragged across the flagstone floors. I got so wound up at this point that I rang the pub and asked them if we were going to get any sleep that night. I mentioned the request I had made. They apologised and said all guests had left and the staff would be soon too. So we tried to settle down for sleep to come... only for a knock on the door 15 minutes later. Dog barked again. The lady (who was lovely by the way) asked if we wanted to move rooms.... (at 1am!!). I said we'd rather just try to get some sleep. It took a long time to fall asleep after this and my dog remained restless. We then woke up at our usual time - both exhausted. The staff did apologise and offered to give me the room for free - which didn't seem quite fair to me. What I would have preferred was a quiet room away from the main road, as requested. There was no need for this experience had they actioned my request - and my feedback would've been quite different. When you choose to offer accommodation as a pub, I do think you need to consider the customer experience of the people staying overnight.
Everything, the staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly throughout. The decor, furnishings and comfort of both the allocated room, bar and restaurant were above and beyond our expectations. In summary it all made for a wonderful and pleasant stay.
The property has a very cosy and modern feel. It was spotlessly clean. It was great having a coffee machine in our room and the bar provided hot milk for us to use. There’s also chilled water and cold milk available. Dinner and breakfast were lovely. We’re staying again in the summer!
