Pros: BULA!! What can I say... Belo Vula was just what our family needed. It was the perfect place for US to relax. I am so grateful that I found this little slice of paradise. Off the beaten track Belo Vula was practically ours for the week. Luckily school holidays had just finished and there were not the usual amount of day trippers. Joey and Va and all their staff should be very proud of Belo Vula and how it has and will continue to evolve. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with high ceilings fans and air con. Bathrooms perfect. Open up our front door and I was literally 5 steps away from the sand and beach. The sunrises in the morning were spectacular (sigh)..Take us back! Continental Brekky in the mornings were lovely, fresh fruit and baking included. Meals, although quite expensive were all tasty and satifying (compliments to the chef). Joey thank you to you and the boys for making my girls birthday a night to remember. Thank you for making us feel so special and catering to all our needs. Boat trip across from Lautoka is only about 5min away and it's never any hassle at any time of day. Staff were amazing! Playing volley with the kids, climbing for coconuts and feeding the fish...kids loved it. All in All we will definitely stay again and Thank Joey, Va, Sunia, Matthew, Sarah, Melika, Boat Boy, Chef and Ana and ALL the wonderful staff at Belo Vula for making our stay the best eveer!! We have stayed in many other resorts before but there was just something different about Belo Vula that made it the perfect place for US. - Vinaka Vakalevu - Thank you with all our heart xxxooo
Cons: Rubbish on the beach in the mornings which comes over from the mainland. This is not the resorts fault though. Every morning the wonderful staff are picking it up and raking the leaves, making it look like paradise again.
Pros: staff is helpful
Cons: food is expensive. charge $50 for cooking labstor if you bring your own.
Pros: Convenient for an overnight stay - transit through Fiji. Clear waters. Nice beach. Comfy beds.
Cons: The whole place is very small and lacks personality. Slow food at dinner....it took about 1.5 hours from ordering until it arrived. There seemed to be only one Chef. Breakfast was poor!! Cheap cereals, cheap bread and jam, orange Squash not juice. Flies everywhere.
Pros: Beautiful location and friendly staff.
Pros: The amazing location and the view from the cottages. Don’t miss the sun rise. Spectacular. The accommodation was reasonably priced for all its facilities. Staff were extremely friendly, while still recovering from our Melbourne time zone, we walked to the dining area at 9:30 pm well past their closing time. The staff made sure we didn’t go to sleep hungry, prepared our chicken curry fresh and made sure we ate well. Over a casual conversation, Andrew who owns the island, figured out we were first timers to the island , went above and beyond in organizing a rental car through his friend Chris. They personally dropped us in the rental car company and even signed the security for us. We hired a four wheel drive and were pleasantly surprised that rental company charged us almost half the price of what we got quoted from online. Andrews friend Chris even made sure we had the right place to stay in Suva, which was our next destination. We are more than speechless how someone can go way out of their way to make sure their guests get the best. Surely not for money when he owns the island, it’s just the nature. We have spent the last 6 nights around the main island, hopping hotels. This trip was epic . We will surely come back here in a heartbeat. Thank you and can’t thank you enough.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Pros: The staff were beautiful, nothing was a problem. Food great and the welcome and send off made this stay very special. Snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. Very easy to pop over to Letouka for the day via boat.
Cons: It was a little smokey, due to burn off on the mainland, , otherwise perfect.
Pros: The service was excellent and caring and the location made it a super choice
Cons: Occasionally smoke drifted across from the mainland
Pros: The staff were fantastic, Meals good. Had a welcoming song sung and a drink on the jetty an also had a wonderful song sung the night before I left, it was quite moving.
Cons: I think they have it all good.
Pros: We enjoyed the breakfast fruit platter. And on request they also served eggs and a little cheese. We really liked the traditional Fijian dishes and the wonderful salads. We could even drink the water off the tap! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were also so lucky to have the owner of the resort plus his family holidaying there during our stay. They made us especially welcome and inclusive.
Cons: The breakfast was very basic. Most of the time there was no yogurt available. The loud music in the pool area close to the accommodation.
Pros: The resort is great and sincere, the whole staff and management are more than friendly, and happy to help. The bures are vast and clean, with all necessary facilities in.
Cons: it could be great to have the resort becoming even more eco-friendly

Pros: The service was great
Cons: Loved everything
Pros: everything the most relaxing place i have stayed at
Pros: Very friendly staff, great all over service. Grounds are beautiful and the rooms are lovely.
Pros: The rooms are all surrounded by the gardens, making it feel private and secluded. The staff were great, always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and accompanied by local fresh fruit.
Cons: Because of the remote location and the heat it's not possible to walk anywhere for food or other basics. We had to rely on taxis to get around.
Pros: bar staff super friendly
Cons: Not enough sunlounges around the pool.Buffet could have been managed more efficiently...
Pros: So peaceful! It was an escape from busy Nadi. Staff were super helpful, made us feel relaxed and were always approachable. The bed was so comfortable. The food at the restaurant was also exceptional.
Pros: Staff were excellent.
Cons: Locked gates and fences. Room did not have a fan. Bathroom area had privacy screens for toilet and shower but no privacy behind mirror. Food was good but menu was limited. Not accessible to beach.
Pros: Staff extremely kind
Cons: No running water with pipes broken and needed to wait for a water tank truck to deliver water and then for individual villas to be turned on. Facilities looked tired especially around pool.
Pros: Everything else.
Cons: Gravel road next door

Pros: The staff were great. So is the breakfast.
Cons: The rooms and bathrooms are dated - neither modern nor luxurious. Nothing that is v inviting after a long hot day!
Pros: excellent breakfast! Location to Lautoka CBD.
Cons: on arrival we were not allocated the room we paid for. This was rectified after complaint to reception after having unpacked and check our documentation. Meant repacking to be move to correct room.
Pros: The pool area is nice
Cons: The room is not what is advertised. We did not look over the pool as we requested and we had ppl building something outside our room. Very unenjoyable, especially as we travelled with a toddler and it made it difficult to sleep.
Pros: Walking distance to the city centre. Nice atmosphere
Cons: Not value for money Overpriced
Pros: Reception staff were friendly.
Cons: Rooms were not very clean. Lighting was very dull. Overally priced for its location.
Pros: Staff, location and the environment.
Cons: Couldn’t have a swim in the pool because of the black ash like things.
Pros: cleanliness and location
Cons: they overcharged me even though bookings.com gave me a different price
Pros: The hotel was really nice. A little over our budget, but was best value we could find in loutoka. Its quite close to town, but i was a little on edge walking at night as you have to cross a busy park (busy for late at night) they had two nice pools and gym which gave us plenty to do as there is not a huge amount in loutoka. Breakfast was also pretty good.
Cons: The bar and restaurant was a little over priced for us but we are on a budget.
Pros: Staff were lovely
Cons: Steak was terrible
Pros: Very good
Pros: Good location and breakfast
Cons: Expensive for the type of hotel. Not enough towels and the room smelled like detergent. Dust was visible.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
Pros: Staff were friendly Bure was as pictured (except for the balcony swing) Private plunge pool was refreshing
Cons: No nightly show No house keeping No room service at night No swing on balcony Breakfast not what advertised Internet patchy TV only had 2 channels in English, which repeated all day and night
Pros: Staff are friendly. Beautiful view and quite and relaxing.
Pros: We stayed here in September 18 and couldn’t have loved the hotel any more - we had a beach front bungalow and waking up in the morning to the view was lovely. The staff at the hotel are amazing - they are incredibly friendly and always up for a giggle! Hotel still in early stages so was very quiet at our time of staying although this didn’t bother us as we were enjoying the rest and relaxation!
Cons: Dinner options could be better - they do buffet nights which are quite pricey and the only option. Location is beautiful but quite far away from local bits (like a lot of the resorts) so worth keeping in mind - we hired a car from the hotel.
Pros: The location is stunning. One of the most beautiful in Nadi area. The pool was lovely too. We were not happy with the first room which was in the block but the staff moved us to a bure which was excellent. The cleanliness was exceptional too.
Cons: There was not as much choice of food for dinner although breakfast, which was included was exceptional.
Pros: Large bures on beach. Well appointed.
Cons: Not complete and a little stark.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Location great if you needed privacy. You would need a car to visit other restaurants in the area. Staff were very obliging and happy. The pool is beautiful with a bar on the side to sit in the water with.
Cons: It is a new resort and it is very stark. Needs more ambience ….more plants etc. Also we did need to phone to get directions as there is no signage along the way as other resorts. It was quite expensive compared to our other 1 night stays.
Pros: The staff were the absolute best! The facilities were perfect. Very comfortable stay and I would not stay anywhere else when i travel to Fiji again.
Cons: Nothing. It was a perfect holiday because of the resort. Felt just at home.
Pros: ??????? ok , at least it was clean
Cons: When I came, there was nobody in the reception. Then she couldnt find my booking and told me to go over to the other building to sort it out, which of course I didnt. Its not my job to sort out their management problems. It finally took allmost one and half hours before I was shown my room. I had booked a ocean view room, but got a room with backside view. I complained, got told they would look into it, but never anything happend. The staff was bored and completely uninterested. From the room I had 30-40 steps everytime I wanted to go anywhere, pool, restaurant,a walk... The pool is to deep to stand anywhere, so its either swimming constantly or leave it. So older people have to go to the kids pool. nice ? The place lacks complety charme and athmosphere. Its rows and rows of identical concrete and iron roof bungalows, looks like a cheap suburb , not like a resort. The main building is huge and got the charme of a wharehouse. The food : I ordered steak with prawns, medium It came well done, a sticky white sauce, they called garlic sauce (?) covered everything, meat , prawns, veggies and potatoes. In the morning I ordered coffee and got some I dont know liquid. , it looked like water with some milk in it, but after dinner I came prepared, I brought my own coffee.
Pros: Everything was fabulous, staffs were very nice and accommodating. Definitely will go back and stay.
Pros: The room decorated fir our anniversary & bubbles!!! Above & beyond
Cons: Internet connection nor good at all
Pros: Large comfortable bed, large room, large bathrooms, most of the staff were friendly, nice pool, free use of kayaks,
Cons: Deluxe suite with sea view room 135 was really only a glimpse, from the short side of the balcony over the hotel kitchens roof with very noisy extractor fans, not a lot of other dining choices close by, only a couple of other hotels walking distance 10 - 15 minutes along dirt road, or a taxi ride elsewhere, stairs only to the rooms if you are not staying in the bungalows. Wifi very hit and miss, not working most of the 4 days we were there, staff said connection was installed incorrectly and needs fixing. (Fiji time), Check your bill we were also charged extra meals, which was corrected. Older ute with broken back seat (was very uncomfortable with full car and the spring coming through the side of the seat) with badly cracked windscreen for airport transfer (but it is complimentary)
Pros: View, pool, food, beach, quietness
Cons: Poor wifi, tv and reception staff

Cons: No AC, but the fan was good
Pros: This place was amazing! The surroundings are beautiful, the room was spacious and comfortable and the food was delicious!
Cons: If it weren't for the dogs and cats, We would have returned the next week (husband is allergic).
Pros: Huge potential here. Awesome type place in a wicked location. Nice food, big room, nice host.
Cons: It’s probably incorrectly named a “resort”. More homestay almost. Only ones staying basically when we were there. No one seemed to know we were coming. Cane toads everywhere, watch out. Whole experience seemed a little awkward. A bit run down.
Pros: The hosts are super friendly, helpful and welcoming
Cons: It does have a distict 1970tis feel and could do with some renovations
Pros: Comfortable large room, and bed. Great views. Good food.
Cons: The presence of so many dogs and cats can be intrusive.
Pros: Was good ... many year ago
Cons: Taste of wet hairs dogs in reception , too many dogs all around ( i counted more than 8) room very poor and big bee inside. Obviuosly we check out without open our bags but 1 night was requested payment
Pros: If you’re looking for a special place with a heart and a soul next to an awesome view into the mountains - this is where you should spend some nights. So close to the airport and yet directly within nature. Hot springs and mud pool are not far away and are worth to visit. If you like pets - great! You have some lovely dogs and cats around looking forward to meeting you:)
Cons: My 11 old daughter has been bitten by one of the 6 or 7 dogs that are barking and showing their teeth each time we tried to enter the resort. I went to the local Police station to report the attack.

Pros: Room was clean & organized
Cons: WiFi provided was poor.
Pros: The staff we great and the rooms were large and comfortable
Cons: The property is very poorly run. The owner lied to us about Kayaks, which their brochure claimed they had, as well as board games which were no existent. The internet is terrible and not available in our room, although the owner constantly insisted it was. Our bill at the end was wrongly calculated twice, and eventually I ended up adding it myself to get the correct total. Then was asked to pay cash rather than credit card.
Pros: The bed was spacy and comfortable for hubby bubba n me...love d spa bath n food is d best we have ever had...the services provided during our stay was superb
Cons: There was little access to a kitchenette such as spoons and milk.. Wanted a dip in the pool but couldn't as it wasn't available
Cons: Place is shocking !!!!
Pros: Large size of the room. Lovely porch. Airport pick up service right on time and very friendly. Service people friendly and helpful. Very nice restaurant with island-type live music.
Pros: Room is very clean and nice. The room is big and very comfortable bed to sleep on.
Cons: Just the outside environment. Needs more work outside to make it more inviting by having more plants and pool area needs shade.
Pros: I loved the room the space was awesome jacuzzi ooooh left my family speechless food is too good we booked for one night but we are here from Saturday and still on today is Monday. The staff are so warm. This is the only resort I've stayed in so far where the mattresses were free. Shampoo conditioner and shower gel was in huge dispensers. So hygienic the toilet is away from the taps so I felt free to clean my dishes there and so much room in the bathroom with huge mirrors and the balcony overlooking the sea.
Cons: Maybe a few suggestions, there can be Indian desert with the menu and a small towel hanger in the bathroom there's lots of space.
Pros: Loved the beautiful rooms, staff and the food was excellent
Cons: TV and spa not working. Should replace broken pool furniture as it makes the wonderful pool look tired
Pros: The location was beautiful wit friendly staff. Loved the room
Cons: Bar hours were lil early
Pros: Waitress and waiters were LOVELY - the food was delicious, especially the indian food. Rooms nice and spacious and very clean.
Cons: It CANT be called a beach - there isnt a beach just a bit of dirty sand with rocks. They let in SO many day guests - at one point there was 55 day guests in the pool so we couldnt even use it. Ruined the stay. Kids"play area" was dirty.
