Pros: "I cannot say enough good things especially about the Air New Zealand staff on this flight, they were truly amazing, went above and beyond to help me and others. They were personable & caring! The seat was comfortable and the dinner was the best tasting airline food I have eaten in years. Happy!"

Pros: "New Zealand Air staff were friendly, informative and courteous throughout the entire flight! I was floored by their service and by what was offered. They even worked to arrange for people to move around (some were packed 4 to a row, but there was plenty of space throughout the craft)."

Pros: "Appreciated check in staff who professionally answered our requests re routine steps to process check in. Only regretted that we weren’t aware (perhaps we missed announcement) that my husband who is still recovering from knee surgery was not aware we could have boarded from the forward entrance and avoid the descent and ascent via rear entry."
Cons: "Not clear that I wouldn't be able to check a bag for my return flight. I flew to New Zealand with a large bag and then when I went to check in for my return flight they told me I couldn't check it to bring it back and my only option was to cargo it, which was not helpful being that the cargo was out of the airport and I needed to catch my flight. I was luckily able to check it on a separate flight my boyfriend was going on. But I would have either have had to leave my bag or miss my flight if he hadn't been there. It should have been more apparent that I wouldn't have been able to check it on the way back. It makes no sense to be able to bring a bag to New Zealand and not bring it back. That was very frustrating and overall I was very disappointed with this experience."
My flight from Sydney to LA the headphones and the jack didn’t work. I informed the crew member it was an over 15 hour flight with no sound in entertainment. I asked if they had kosher or halal options in one of the flights to Brisbane, the crew member wasn’t pleasant in the reply. I took the vegetarian option that’s fine but surely the crew member can say no in a more pleasant way. Although I had a great time in Australia. Thank you

Cons: "I almost missed my return flight. It was a 9:40pm flight but the lady at the counter said that because i bought my ticket early, the flight time changed to 8:40pm because of time change. I think that needs to be factored in when selling tickets don't surprise customers."

Cons: "- There was a massive line for boarding and it took a while. We ended up leaving a little late because of it. - The crew overlooked the row I was in a few times. We had to call for assistance to get rubbish removed. - One of the toilets didn't have running water in the basin from the second hour of the flight onwards. - The galley in the back was locked for most of the trip. - The food wasn't cooked properly. - Everyone was asked if they wanted a drink with my meal except for me."

Cons: "My Fiji flights between Honolulu and Auckland were cancelled so they rebooked me on Jetstar and New Zealand Airways Apparently the international date line was not taken into account and I arrived in Sydney hours after my connecting flight to Auckland had already left! I talked to 7 different people in all corners of Sydney airport and no one knew what to do with me. My attempts to call Fiji Airways from my cell phone and then a landline at the airport didn't go through so I ended up messaging a friend in the States and she was able to call and get me booked on a NZ Air flight to Auckland that left the next morning. Both Jetstar and NZ Air gave me different information on what paperwork I needed and what my baggage and carry-on allowance was, which was frustrating. I finally arrived in Auckland 26 hours later than scheduled. I understand the cyclone cancelling the Fiji flights but the rescheduling error caused some significant expenses and a great deal of hassle."
Pros: "Thank you for allowing 1 free bag since many carriers now charge even for the 1st one. Hot meal was good but serving curry may not appeal to all passengers."
Cons: "The lines were long to check our bags. I enjoyed the chicken curry meal but other people did not like it since it was a little spicy."

Compared to other US airlines, American is the worst. The planes are tight. Seats are uncomfortable and there was no option to buy food on a 6 hour flight. Also the free wifi didn’t work.

Pros: "A crew member saw me struggling to walk and offered a wheelchair, explained to me that I would be met with one throughout my trip. Her name was Donna!! Problem occurred when we got to Dallas."
Cons: "Instead of circling in the sky, they could have had the pilot take the alternate route he eventually took anyway, in the first place. My family and I still don’t know if we’re going to get a flight to El Paso/ stand by. So much 4 seeing my armyson before he deploys, recipient time waisted over bad decisions on to of everything else, entitled woman on the plane insults me on the lane for no reason. The crew was amazing though."

Cons: "I purchased a “first class”seat when the door close I switch from my seat to the front seat to put more distance with others passengers since I’m a transplant paciente. The rude flight attendant told me in a very bad tone to go back to my seat that I couldn’t seat in there . Only to see later that she put her coat in there. I got up later to go to the bathroom , also I have overreacted bladder and she told me in same rude talk go back to my seat that if I couldn’t see that the do not get up signs were on. I felt literally she yelled at me . Never asked me if I needed help , or just wait a little . I literally pee in my pants"
Pros: "Still feel like the $125 price tag added for Econ Plus is an example of price gouging. Fortunately, there was only one other person in my row which created a little extra space. But there’s no way to make that long a flight in Economy “enjoyable.” Broader entertainment choices would help."

Not only that, when i went to airport i was charged for luggage even tho I did not have a seat. I had to fo back for a refund! You thieves, SOB's using a disaster to thief people!!"

Pros: "The only positive to this flight was that after sitting on hold with United's customer service, it took less than 10 minutes for them to grant me a refund."
Cons: "I ended up backing out of this flight and booking out of a different airport and with a different airline bc apparently this flight with United has been seriously delayed (4+ hours) multiple times before. We were told that the flight was cancelled for the 2 days prior."
Cons: "Doesnt make sense to sell tickets with conections so close that there is not enough time for migration issues and all the necessary stuff. I could not take the flight aqnd had to take one the next day."
