Pros: Staff. The woman manager was friendly, helpful and considerate, allowing me to put freezer packs in the lodge's main refrigerator.
Cons: The lighting in the room was poor. One dim central overhead light and one light on the desk. No bedside tables with lights. Couldn't read at night. Internet connection started off reasonably good but deteriorated over the two days I was there to the point that it hardly worked. One shared shower, one bathroom sink and two restrooms for 10 units. I felt that the place was not very clean, especially the kitchen. If I had seen the condition of the kitchen before I ate food from it, I would have declined. It is on the edge of Glacier National Park, so I would expect it to be somewhat expensive, but I thought this was a poor value chiefly because of the issue of cleanliness and limited facilities.
Pros: The staff was accommodating and friendly. There was a common area to watch TV or strike up a conversation. Peaceful and serene with spectacular mountain views . Onsite restaurant and washer/ dryer. Great location near Glacier National Park entrance.
Cons: The window fan was noisy; A small ceiling fan or oscillating fan would work well in the room. The mattress has seen better days.
Cons: Unstable water temperature in both showerrooms. You can hear the ceiling fan from downstair humming when you are in your bed upstairs.
Pros: Very rustic and felt like you were in someone’s home. Very nice staff. Good food and entertainment. Room was simple, but adequate.Good value and great location. Close to areas we wanted to explore.
Cons: The bathroom could have been cleaner and faucets in bathrooms needed to be fixed. One sprayed you when you turned it on and the other one was a hard stream.
Pros: Very Nice people! Small, personable resort!
Pros: Terry is great, made everything really easy. Even had homemade cookies left for guests. The location could not be better--equally pretty close to Many Glacier and the St. Mary entrance. I loved the comfy downstairs. I get up earlier than my husband and had a place to sit, have a cup of coffee which was ready already by around 6, and chat with other guests about good hikes.
Cons: Just the showers--lack of water pressure, temp control iffy.
Pros: Close to Glacier and reasonably priced.
Cons: Mattresses need replacement. Room 6 a little noisy.
Cons: It's too costly compared services available. Rooms are so small and there are shared 2 baths for 8 rooms !
Pros: The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was a nice, serene atmosphere. There was live music, home cooked meals, and fresh baked cookies. Coffee was plentiful. The huckleberry cinnamon rolls were divine! I would recommend this venue if you want to commune with nature and enjoy home cooking!
Pros: Peach pie with huckleberry sauce and ice cream. Great breakfast. Quiet. Terry is the Best.
Pros: The place needs a thorough cleaning. Water pressure in shower was inadequate
Pros: Really didn't know what to expect but our stay was pleasant. One room with 2 single beds. Shared bathroom facilities across the hall. Showers were uncontrollable but they were trying to fix that. Place was clean, owners great. It's a place for hunters and fishermen but great for a one or two night stay for travelers.
Cons: Shower was an experience
