This family-run, 3-star hotel in the village of Baiersbronn offers a quiet location in the Black Forest, a wellness area with panoramic views, and free Wi-Fi. The Hotel Restaurant Falken has spacious rooms featuring a traditional design, wooden furniture, and a balcony. Massages and pedicures are some of the treatments on offer in the Falken’s wellness area. This is located on the 4th floor. The Hotel Falken also has free Nordic walking sticks, table tennis and billiards facilities, and a children’s play room. Traditional Black Forest food is served in the Falken’s restaurant. Guests can also relax on the terrace in good weather.
There are limited parking lots available on a first come first serve basis. It was lucky for me to get one lot. It is even more lucky to get a room at same level as the carpark. The dinner at the hotel was good, and the breakfast too.
The hotel is located up the hill and is not near the central of the town. The hotel does not offer drinking water for free, but priced a litre of water for 2 euro. Only the owner speaks some english. The room offered does not have view and is not in front like the one you see in the picture.
The food is very good
Car Parking is very poor as there are not enough parking spaces.
The owner was especially helpful and explained exactly how we could get to a very nice walk fairly near to the Hotel and lent us a map to do the walk.
A very pleasant hotel. Lovely view over black forest hills from balcony. Restaurant served tasty food and good value for money too - although portions are huge!
Lovely, clean and comfortable hotel. Ideal location centrally in the Black Forest, great for walking and the village is very nice. Excellent food at the hotel.
It has limited parking spaces.
We love this little hotel - it is the second time we have stayed there and will do it again if we happen to be in that area. It is very friendly, clean - and the food is delicious! A great place in the mountains of Germany!
Lovely....friendly, helpful staff. Super clean and comfortable. Nice food.
Wonderful restaurant attached to the hotel. First-rate Black Forest breakfasts with "Laugenbrotchen" and "Laugenbrezen" - warm pretzel buns and warm pretzels, with an excellent selection of cold cuts, cheeses, muesli cereal, and juices. The hotel restaurant offers dinner too, and has a very nice Black Forest and Swabian menu, i.e. maultaschen, spaetzle, etc.
Nothing. Not a thing.
Friendly staff,very good food.
