the location and being close to the airport for an early morning flight The hotel. The dirty worn out wallpaper, the broken AC units, the bathtubs that don't drain durning a shower. The hotel smelled like old cigarettes and the carpet in my room was dirty with crumbs. The pillows are all lumpy and half the size of a standard pillow. We requested different pillows but we're given the same type of gross lumpy pillows.
great breakfast included. airport shuttle was very convenient. staff was friendly. bed was comfortable and everything was clean and up to date.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE STAFF.....from our late check- in to shuttle arrival at LAX. Having limited knowledge of the vast local area, we chose this hotel because of the Wyndham name and its location to the airport. Each and every person of the staff treated us professionally, pleasantly and with a sense of real care regardless of the job description. Hats off to this team!
Everything in the hotel was nice. Shower was clogged enough that the water reached our ankles. Unhygienic and disgusting.
Friday morning there was a breakfast buffet with egg and sausage patties, waffles (cook your own) , muffins, fruit, coffee, fresh fruit and various waffle toppings. There was instant oatmeal and dry cereal with milk as well. I'm sure I might have missed a few items, but I was very satisfied with the choices. Ample tables and chairs to accommodate everyone who choose to stay there. Bring a tray from the room if you want to take it to go (breakfast in bed?). Warm room. There were too few stations on tv and only one chair in the room, but I'm sure I could have gotten another one if I asked. Wifi was spotty on 6th floor. Parking fee of $15 was unexpected.
Location close to airport, breakfast included Rooms were average, lobby more like a budget hotel, mildew in shower. It took 2 phone calls and a 45 minute wait to get picked up by the shuttle bus from the hotel 2 miles away. There was no restaurant on site, a very mediocre fitness area, and no pool, despite ads to the contrary.
Close to airport
Easy access, comfy bed, great amenities (tea, coffee, hot water in the lobby), friendly staff The shower head and towels need updating
I called hotel 3 times and shuttle never came at airport. I had to wait for 1 hr finally I took a cab to hotel DO NOT take this hotel if you want shuttle from airport.
Called ahead to let them know I would arrive late. They said no problem. When I arrive they gave my room away and instead of 2 beds we got a bed and a pullout. Not OK. The first room they gave us had no water pressure so we had to move to another room. The front desk attendant had absolutely no remorse or empathy about the situation. Terrible service complete and total liars...
Super amazing beds! Breakfast is decent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Climate control didn't work in room, I don't think it worked on the entire floor so be sure to ask about it when you check in. Hair dryer was from the 80's. Parking for $15 seemed excessive.
- Quick and easy Check-in and out - Modern and clean rooms - Great amenities for ladies (face wash, makeup wipes, etc.) - Complimentary breakfast (very good quality too) - Complimentary coffee and water machine 24/7 - Room service was very efficient - Staff were nice and helpful - Easy parking ($15/night) - Minutes from the airport - The location was good considering how close it was to the airport but I wish the area was more live at night and had more stuff to do - Gets crowded during breakfast hours (make sure to go early)
very good value for money, excellent continental breakfast available, room was very clean and tidy, lovely decor. The pool and spa made for a relaxing wind down. Small brekfast room
the room, services and confort are vety good. The staff is friendly.
The room is cosy and facilities are good like internet, microwave oven, etc. I would go there again if I have get the opportunity. no complaints
Bed Air conditioner not working unfriendly staff
The comfortable beds. Having to pay $10 for extra guets to park. Very thin walls. I could hear the people next door and on top!
I choose this hotel based on photos online , however they must have stolen the pictures from another site as the building nor the rooms were anything like the photos. It wasn't a terrible stay, but when I think the hilton was the same amount I should have just stayed there instead. Especially when this hotel charged for parking as well. I wouldn't stay here again unless it's around $65 dollars.
The rooms were decent sized Bad neighborhood, the shuttle driver didn't drive our shuttle bus time because he wanted to finish his coffee, the beds are very uncomfortable, we bought an executive room and they don't tell you until you get there that instead of having smoking and nonsmoking that they just stick an air purifier in the room and call it good.
For a "budget" hotel this close to the airport, they don't have to try as hard as they do to make you comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We even got upgraded to a jacuzzi room for no reason!
Close to LAX. Clean hotel. Great breakfast. Free parking. Water pressure could be a bit higher
it is close to airport and staff is kind. no regular shuttle to airport except on request, it is not easy for people who doesn't drive car as the communication in south CA is poor.
I liked the overall setup of the room. I found it to be very accomodating. The front desk did send someone upstairs; only to find out the person screaming had a mental condition. I was told that had the hotel staff known other arrangements could have been made. In the meantime; the screams continuad off and on my entire stay. I found it very disturbing and wondered how the hotel could have it differently.
The room was excellent and in perfect condition. The bed was terrific. The room was quiet, even near LAX. The driveway area in front is very small. They need a sign: "Park in undergound garage and take elevator to lobby to check in."
The shuttle took forever to get us from the airport and the rooms were dingy, with holes in the blankets and thin pillows. The rooms are decorated to look all modern but instead they look cheap.
newly renovated rooms; cleanliness small bathroom, poor WIFI Connectivity
The morning van driver kept texting and not paying attention to the customers
The lady at the front desk was really good Sometimes the common areas were dirty
The night I stayed, it was very quiet Morning coffee and tea did not have tea bags or real sugar
Employee should provide parking ticket ready
Shuttle service yo the airport Great bed
The staff was friendly and my room was clean. I did not have any problems and was only in town for one night so this was perfect for my needs and the price was right.
Room was very clean. Housekeeping service is great. Ice machines broken on a few floors.
Needed a place to stay for a few days while waiting for the next flight out of LAX. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room availability was convenient and flexible. A perfect fit. Minor maintenance to ice machines.
Room was neat and clean very vibrant No microwave or fridge it's really needed especially for a person like me having surgery hopefully they will upgrade to fridge and microwave
Great clean rooms, friendly staff and comfortable bed. Loved the free shuttle service to our terminal as well
very cheap and close to the airport if you need this the staff was kind of dismissive and they werent informative on questions we asked.
This hotel is close to the airport and has a free shuttle. All their "free" stuff is a lie. The area is scary. In the hotel you can see people smoking drugs.
CLEAN AND GREAT STAY
it was cheap, clean and easy to acces, just what I needed for such a short stay! The Laundry facity wasn't too good, would think that they need to tidy that up and make it a bit cleaner
Price and courtesy shuttle to airport rooms were old, infra-structure was not great and beds were not comfortable. I guess great for backpacking and travelers. Reminded me of a hostel with private rooms. Windows will not shut all the way, so you can hear the outside. Curtains are really thin, so they can see inside from the hallway and sun light comes in pretty good. I stayed at the two double beds.
Friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool facility. A fun place with plenty of interesting guests. The room needed vacuuming. The building was tired and needed a repaint.
Nothing because when we arrive there was a kiosk of 20 -25 people waiting to be get room and some of them was waiting since 4 hours with small kids and family well in short we were told that they are waiting for getting room so we should also be I. The line which is big bullshit so in a but shell we never get any room It is a totally bullashit place
I need the bill for my stay!!! I coldn´t get it when I was there One night I couldn´t sleep for noise in the floor up
The only good thing about this motel are the fact that it is close to the airport, restaurants and a CVS pharmacy. The staff was not friendly, the place was extremely dirty and badly indeed of an update. I lost money in one of their vending machine, I went to the front desk and the lady told me to come back in the morning and speak with the manager; I didn't. She basically bushed me of and never placed an out-of-service sign on the machine. There was a constant dropping in the bathroom. I asked for an extra wash cloth and never receive one. The carpets looks just as dirty as the sidewalk. There were banging on the wall in the room next to me. The doesn't seem safe, there were people walking around which a lot of whom didn't seem like paying guess. I place a do not disturb sign on my door the entire time I was there. They have a mini bar and I didn't want anything to go missing and I would have to pay. Take a Uber or Lyft to and from the airport. The free shuttle means not. I waited one hour for them to pick me up from the airport. I took a Lyft back it was like 15-20 minutes away. Plus it was cheap. Book this motel if everywhere else is booked.
The price was great and the location was near almost everything Parking was a little tight
The pool was very nice if you love to swim. Vending machines downstairs are convenient if you want a snack or a beverage. Rooms were decently cleaned. The staff aren't entirely helpful or nice. DIDNT RETURN $35 SECURITY DEPOSIT, they even lied each time I called and asked for them to return it. They either leave you on hold or lie and say they returned it
We were literally only there to sleep about 5hrs before our flight out in the morning, so it worked for that. Proximity to LAX + free shuttle Large room Seemed clean (although my traveling companion refused to walk barefoot on the carpets...they were pretty dingy. But the sheets, bathroom, etc were clean) Hard to identify (there were like 4 hotel names on the sign! "Adventurer" was only over the front door) Unfriendly front desk Thin walls - people talking outside my door all night sounded like they were in my room Pretty sketchy: with all rooms accessed from outdoors, I probably would not stay here as a woman alone. Parking looked like it would be difficult, very tight (we uber'd after dropping off our rental car)
nothing. backpackers, gamblers, noisy overnight. Too many drunk people in the lounge and smell terrible. Suite is very old, dirty carpet and sofa.
Waited 1 hour and 10 minutes standing up at LAX to be sure not to miss it. I had to call back 3 times after my initial call as she told me he was on his way, he just left the airport, he's going to go back in 15 minutes, he's at the airport... Never ending run around. Another couple got in just after he and they were furious, they had been waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes! They asked to speak to the banger and were dismissed rudely by the lady at front desk. There was nothing she could do....
The rooms were fabulous and the food excellent
Pool a worker came into our room while we were in there to get lunch from the fridge, mold everywhere.
The tiki bar/pool area was cool. Cockraoches were all over our room. We paid for 4 nights off the bat, same day as we checked in....after we saw all the roaches in our room, we packed up and asked for a refund for the 3 nights we wouldnt be staying in their facility. They were rude, wouldnt refund us, and didnt have the things they said they would have. Very dissappointed in this place.
Nothing Front desk was very rude and not professional. No internet in room. Gave me wrong wifi info and blame IT. No soap in bathroom. Told me that housekeeping will deliver it in my room. I went again after two hours and she told me that they are gone. I will not get any soap here. I asked for ice, she told me get it from outside. I went out, machine was broken. How come she works and know nothing. Worst part was the guest around swimming pool. Some of them are using drugs and some were drinking alcohol openly. I am surprised how the hotel allow open drinking and drugs in their property. Will never visit again.
The room was good and clean. The beds were hard, the staff were a lil rude and it smelled of pot in the common areas. The wifi was off and on and the shuttle was actually a party bus.
No security.......unknown people in and out...very sketchy, not friendly staff or helpful...Would never stay there again.
I can't begin to find words to express how much we enjoyed our stay at the Marina del Rey Ritz Carlton! We arrived on a Wednesday morning with a sick child. The staff immediately took charge helping to get us situated with a room and going so far above and beyond ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. From the person who greeted us to take our luggage, to the valet, to the front desk staff to the wait staff in the restaurant and the gift shop (which opened up for us to get us meds in the middle of the night) to the manager who followed up even after we had left their hotel, every layer was kind, attentive and fantastic! They honestly made us feel like we were at home with family who was concerned about us. What a fantastic experience! T
Marina Totality , needs upgraded , bathrooms , amenities , need more restaurants .
I like the avalibiliy of the staff For a younger crowd in there 25-30 age it's not an appeasing hotel it's more for older crowd like 50-60 so for me being a pro Olympic athlete and being 23 yrs old I didn't enjoy it that much
Hotel staff was outstanding; from valet, front desk & concierge all the way through to pool attendants, room service and bell desk.
the location room service food. the french soup was disgusting. There was also no glasses in the room. time it took to get the food valet parking took 15 mins to get our car
Staff is great, and generally a very nice hotel. Doesn't live up to our expectations based on previous experiences at other Ritz hotels. It feels tired, not as luxurious as others, and is starting to show some age without upkeep. A simple example would be the pool has cracked tiles and feels rundown.
Nice place, but not worth the Ritz premium. I would stay at the JW Marriott in Santa Monica next time I'm in the area.
I liked that the hotel was near the water, close to a concert I was attending. I booked this hotel because they had balconies and it was near the water. The balcony was closed due to renovations. The bath tub was small , hotel was a little outdated. Not as special as a experience as I was hoping for
Located close to the Airport and value for the money. Breakfast and Parking is included. Nothing that mention

Lovely place with plenty of space and nice rooms. Nothing fancy but nothing to complain about. The staff was pleasant and kind but also didn't go out of their way or show great knowledge of the hotel or surrounding. Location is lousy. Nothing within a 10 min walk, few things within 20 min and busy roads lacking full sidewalks. Down and out area very near with no reason for non-locals to get lost in. Sites are a decent drive normally but traffic... Breakfast was so so
We were traveling so we basically needed a place to sleep and shower. It was perfect for that. Beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. We would recommend it.

It was quiet, staff were friendly, efficient, helpful.
Very close to the highway, easy to get around. Had a gas station across the street. The gym could use an upgrade.

It has everything expected from a hotel that sometimes aren't present in other places - hot showers, comfortable bed, WiFi, breakfast, pool, TV, AC. The room wasn't dirty either, except for the shower smelling a bit funny. And it was cheap. The WiFi had bad range and didn't really reach my room. The building was in poor condition - the walls were cracked and patched with plaster and there were blocked off sections. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it could have been but it wasn't terrible.
The staff really tries to give good customer service. Very friendly. When I checked in they gave me a key to someone else's room, so I walked in on them. Made me concerned for my own safety as what if they made the same mistake for my room (there was no way to secure your room from the inside). Didn't feel completely safe there - moved furniture against the door when I was inside the room. Very dated. Bathroom was in extreme disrepair with crusty shower doors and water leaking all over the floor. Whomever cleaned my room left behind long dark hair everywhere including on my sheets and bathroom floor - gross! The elevator literally has the strongest smell of urine that it will turn your stomach. Not a safe neighborhood at all - literally in the hood.
I love the tv Up keeping painting and rugs and furnitures
Cheap overnight stay near job site. Parking was underground and well lit, the room was spacious but the bed and furnishings were dated as was the bathroom, but it was cheap and less than 10 minutes by car from LAX. Bathroom needs updating, building is in need of updating
Inexpensive hotel near LAX with gated parking. Checking in & out was quick. Rooms were older but clean and comfortable, had balcony facing out and door facing inner courtyard.
they need better front desk
pool and patio view, big rooms w patio, kitschy decor needs help, but has charm gross breakfast of box cereal and packaged pastries, no dining area, very runn down rooms (dirty carpet, dirty bathroom and broken furniture)
None Room 106 was the most repulsive room I have ever stayed in. The lock was broken, as was the eyehole which had been plugged with a napkin. The entire floor smelled disgusting, and we couldn't even air the room out because the window was barred. I would not wish this hotel on my worst enemy.
The staff was nice and friendly. The parking area being gated was nice. The hotel is dirty and run down. We didn't feel safe in the room. The chairs were so gross and covered in who knows what that my husband wouldn't sit in them. The bathroom area was covered in mold. There were not enough outlets to charge your devices and the outlets that were there were nowhere near a table. The pillows were as small as the pillows you receive on a flight. We actually went and bought normal pillows before we went to sleep. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Where the majority of the people looked high on drugs, rooms are unkept and very basic. Roaches are seen on the sheets. Please stay away from this place.
The location was close enough to the beaches. There were crackheads sprinkled around the area there was a spider in my room it smelled like rancid smoke even though I asked for a smoking room I was kind of disgusted by the stench. Also they charge $.75 for ice cubes actually just a bucket a small square bucket from your room which kind of blows my mind!!
It is close to the airport. The room was old and dirty. Breakfast was poor.
We had flown from NY to drive down to San Diego and stayed for a night in LA. Our room was cleaned, renovated look and comfortable. The staff was excellent and free breakfast. Very affordable.
Nothing The name is a ripoff! On the web page it was mistaken for Holiday Inn Express. This is NO Holiday Inn Express. There should be a disclaimer. The TV was a 22” standard. There were ants. The a/c was hard to regulate. Dirty carpet.
The gun shots, the intoxicated front desk girl or the ice pool
angie was wonderful at helping us resolve our booking problems. thankyou! area , ok, not much to do, for walking ,
the service My car was broken in to while parked on the parking lot, and several very important items were stolen. I was promised a refund from getaroom.com for one night, for $115.00, but I have not received anything. My wife and I enjoyed coming to comfort inn several times a year, but I think its time for us to find another hotel.
Nothing I got off my plane to find that room had been cancelled and sold too someone else. I had nowhere to go at 1am in the morning. My wallet was stolen a day before I checked in. When they tried to charge my card, it was declined and I was notified thatbinhad 24 hours to provide a new card number. I called them as soon as my plane landed, not even an hour after I got the email saying I had 24 hours to provide a new card to keep reservation. They did not honor their contract. Rude managers and unacceptable business practice. I will never stay at a comfort Inn again not use Kyayk or booking.com. If I wasn't a roll with the punches kinda guy, it would have been much worse. Unacceptable.
We loved how clean the room was and the smell of clean sheets. The breakfast bar was fantastic too.
Absolutely nothing. Dirty, shitty bed hurt my back.
Very friendly and helpful front desk workers. He offered restaurant recs and tried his best to make our stay pleasant. When they were out of cribs, he offered comforters to cushion the floor for our toddler. The room was pleasant. We waited for over 30 minutes for the airport shuttle to arrive. They were out of both cribs and rollaway beds, though they did offer to try and contact their sister properties to borrow one.
We had a great experience at the hotel
The room was really nice Well satisfied
All Pay for parking my car
The room was ready and clean! The staff were friendly and attentive. We were only there overnight but it was very nice, quiet enough and clean (which to me is the most important feature)! Nothing, it was all good
Clean, spacious, nice amenities. Close to freeway and airport. Lack of nearby attractions. Far from downtown and other tourist areas/attractions.
The look of the hotel is very cool. The rooms were spacious and clean with a nice bathroom area.
Everything!!! Parking charge.
The hotel is right off the freeway, and the location is amazing. There is a gas station adjacent to the hotel, which was great because we just walked right over to buy some waters.
Clean, and luxurious feel. Easy access, and only minutes from Manhattan Beach. Restaurant was mediocre.
Location and good price Front desk staff / accounting staff are incompetent They double charged for the room and then didn't seem to think it was a big deal. I'm sure it will get refunded sooner or later but just a hassle. First and last Ayres hotel stay
Nice decor and great location Charge for parking which is ridiculous. Girl who checked me in was a bit rude
It was a peaceful getaway for me and my wife. Very enjoyable and relaxing. Room service was magnificent.
Huge rooms deigned and furnished lavishly. A bit too far from any touristy attractions. Not a walking hotel b
Very close to the airport, small breakfast is included, parking free. But very poor internet connection, no shuttle bus service, and rooms on the street are very noisy Rooms on the street are noisy, very poor internet connection. Breakfast a bit small
the room was quiet and with very nice equipment
The staff were friendly and professional. Very helpful. The decor was drab and a uninviting. No airport shuttle available. A place to lay your head only. I requested 2 queen beds and received 2 double beds.
Close to LAX,good sized rooms, good price and friendly staff, will stay again
Enough parking space, breakfast, big rooms. To close near a busy road, much traffic-noise.
The room had nice furniture but, the carpet was badly stained and the room smelled really bad. The chair was filthy and I wasn't comfortable at all. I couldn't walk on the floor without my shoes.
Given the price and location, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. It had a microwave, sink, small fridge, and ironing board. The room appeared to have been redecorated recently, and the bathroom was nicely done with granite. I needed a convenient place to stay near lax for one night. I arrived after 1am and check-in was quick. There was a/c in the room, but I chose the fresh air of the open window instead. There was a little bit of traffic noise, as the hotel is on a major street, but it was otherwise quiet. Aside from the apples, the breakfast foods offered were not worth eating. Only simple carbs (cereal, white bread, and waffles) with no protein.
The staff, particularly the manager could not have been more helpful, basic accommodation was satisfactory, would not have wanted to pay more for the quality. all provision of utensils for eating and drinking was in plastic, it would appear that this is an American thing, not just this hotel. Would have been nice to have decent crockery.
The hotel was across the street from gas station and near freeway. Nothing bonus about the hotel. Run down hotel. BW must assume because located in Inglewood, that they should not remodel the hotel. The second you walk in elevator you'll notice immediately it's ghetto. Other hotels offer equal rates in BETTER areas. Pass on this location. This BW is CHEAP and offers NO MEATS for breakfast. Just bunch of bread to get you full.
quiet and clean nothing
We enjoyed the pool and the good breakfast specially lupe's waffles The pillows were a bit hard there should he firm and soft pillows to choose from and doors shouldn't have that big gat on the bottom because u can hear everything that's going on outside
Goods arrangements for aiport transfer Helpful staff Not a vegetarian friendly place
breakfast was good. very close to highway and therefore noisy.
Friendly staff, relatively good breakfast. The location is horrible, it is in the middle of a highway crossing. Nothing close by in walking distance.
,The front was not polite The front was not polite
Good location to airport and good breakfast The rugs in the room needed replacing but they were in the process of it in the floor above
thanks mr. Dee , staff from airpark hotel!!! very helpfull! nothing!
The staff was wonderful! Especially the young lady who cleaned exceptional! No complaints.
close to airport, free shuttle, friendly staff, clean, safe, good value, morning breakfast. Street noise through windows, possibly a smoking room.
Everything was wonderful. The rooms are nice spacious and clean. The service was excellent. the breakfast was hot fresh and had many items. The indoor heated pool was very nice for the kids as we went in December and the weather was a bit chilly. Parking is free and the attached garage has plenty of space. Nothing
Check in was super fast. Parking was free & in a gated parking garage which gives peace of mind. Hotel looked updated and clean. Room was clean and roomy. Bathroom was telling perfect size. Wifi was free which is always great. TV worked well. The hotel room bed was super comfy. And the breakfast in the morning deserves a 5 star rating! Shower was probably the only downside.. the water was luke warm at its hottest & I didn't like the shower head water settings.
I've stayed here twice. Both times were great. Clean rooms and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Pillows a little flat. Clean modern feel establishment. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice continental breakfast. If you have the time you can monitor the rates and save at least $20 off the normal daily rate. Love this hotel. Will continue to use as my primary place to stay. If you aren't familiar with the city it can appear to be a bad area. It's really not bad but it's definitely not Beverly Hills. All the major fast food places are in walking distance. Close to the airport and freeway. Needs to put a microwave in the lobby with continental breakfast.
I booked a handicapped accessible room online and when checking in they had no record. Other than the booking problem I thought it was an excellent hotel.
One of the best Hampton inns I have stayed at !! Have stayed here 2x's and will return
Staff very friendly and accomodating. Was having work done on my apartment and needed a place to crash. everything was fine
Very clen, good breakfast and friendly staff.
I had a flight in the early morning so I stayed here for one night. Room was spacious, clean, and convenient. Price to value was perfect. Free secure parking but you have to walk back down the parking lot and enter the building from the front instead of through the parking lot. The best thing is that it was 8 minutes from the airport! The area was a little sketchy and not a lot of food options near by. The woman at the front desk in the morning could have been a little more helpful. We left our car keys and room key in the room while rushing to our flight, and we had to wait for her to "finish her transaction" in order to get the keys. Breakfast eggs were not fresh and you could taste it but there were plenty of other options.
We booked through a travel site and Hampton Inn staff was ill-prepared. Although we paid for three nights, Hampton Inn checked us out after the first night and I had to check us in again. Moreover, we were charged again for the stay even though we paid up front through the travel site. Getting our money back or to even get Hampton Inn to recognize the error was a nightmare. We recommended Hampton Inn to our relatives who were also staying for the Thanksgiving holiday. Because of my wife and I, Hampton Inn booked four rooms. Never again! We will never stay at a Hampton Inn again.
My husband and I had a fabulous stay at the Marina del Rey Hotel. Our room had a amazing view of the marina, was very well appointed and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to that part of LA.
Ambiance was great from the beachy/sea vibe in the lobby with the "flying" seagull sculptures hanging from the ceiling a wonderful scent machine in the lobby that makes you feel like you are at the beach. Very romantic setting at the outside bar complete with couches and fire pits. Beds were super comfortable. $30/day for valet parking is a bit steep when there is plenty of parking around the hotel. Give an option for people to park their own cars, even if you have to charge a fee.
We loved the view, facilities, great beds and location of the hotel. No complaints.
The remodel is first class. The front desk service was fine. The dining was terrible. Slow inattentive service, overdone steak, raw salmon, overpriced.
Vibrant lounge with a nice view of the marina. $30 valet only parking option!! Weird odor in the room
No. The bed and pillows were full of ants. The desk clerk just ignore my complaint. There was no food that was edible on my diet.
Nice finishes Comfortable bed Good TV Ants in bathroom - even after killing what we saw at night, more still came back in morning
Room was clean, nice flooring and window covering. Check in evening on 2/9. Clerk not very friendly, did not smile.
Proximity to the airport Very rundown area. Desk staff brusque and unhelpful. Cleaning staff co-operative. Inclusive breakfast was an insult to the name of breakfast, Disgusting. Shuttle service was not provided by the hotel as advertised and the result was expensive. I cancelled a booking for a return visit and this was not cancelled and I was charged as a no show.
the speed to internet is very slow
met my needs for close to airport, inexpensive and clean
First, I was surprised, that this is not a hotel, but a motel. Anyway, I was very surprised about the cleanliness of the room.. It was in very good condition (I had a room 313) It was perfect as a temporary accommodation, like I needed, when I arrived lax Airport in the night, but I do not recommend it as longer- term accommodation while it's abusing when you hear airplane landing in the middle of the night to the lax airport.
Flight was canceled, could not cancel, they kept my money
room size and quality Noise, transport to the airport
eventhough it is in the crime region , hotel is gated...and ok for singles and men
Booked a room thur Booking.com at $79.00 a night. When I got to the Motel there is a large sign that states $59.00 a night. Then The front counter person charged me $10.00 for the shuttle service that is stated to be free on your website. Priced Higher then the Stated Sign Price. Charged for a free shuttle service
It was right across from the marina. A beautiful setting. Convenient to restaurants and nightlife. The staff was very friendly. The room was immaculate and clean. I enjoyed my stay. I would highly recommend it.
Room was nice and clean Parking for $37, valet only was a rip-off!
The service and staff were great - hotel is very nice!
Service Rooms not ready for check in
The lobby, close location to Venice beach and the bar were quite nice. Staff is accommodating and nice. Rooms and interiors of the halls were old, carpet is definitely old, and the lounge for elite members is tiny (cramped seating). Really small outdoor pool.
Parking fee not included in stay
Very comfortable beds. Love the hip decor. Would come back again. Really Nice people. In general we really enjoyed Manhattan Beach more than other coastal cities. It's less cramped feeling and has a wonderful Beach. Valet parking. I'm guessing you could park in neighboring streets if you wanted. It's on a busy street but it's nestled back a bit so you don't feel it.
We loved the location, cleanliness, size of the room and price. Room service- the breakfast was awful! We didn't eat all of it because it was a soggy wet fried egg sandwich with rolls of lunch meat and wet uncooked spinach. Honestly don't get breakfast there. Also the front desk girl didn't make eye contact or smile once- not sure why but that got to me.
The room decor and space were both excellent. The bed felt firm in an inexpensive fashion, but was still reasonable in comfort. The real reason for the low rating in an otherwise four star establishment was the complete lack of hot water pressure at 1030 am on a weekday.
I really thought the room was lovely--large. Things seemed updated and clean. Bed was fairly comfortable--everything worked well. Staff was warm and friendly. Cookies in the afternoon provided at front desk. First bellman didn't tell us that we could stay parked in the Handicapped Parking spot in front. Second bellman did, but a $10.00 charge appeared on the final bill. Staff took it off when I explained. Requested 4 pillows and a view as our most important request. No view and only 2 pillows on bed when we arrived. Bellman brought two more pillows after a phone call. Artwork in hallway is a series of gigantic pictures of 1950 ish dolls---creepy. Including a 5X7 framed photo of one of the doll pictures on the desk in the room. i could see one, but entire hall lined with them.
I arrived late because my flight from Miami was delayed a few hours. As I walked in around midnight, the staff helped me load up my suitcases into a trolley and directed me to where I could take my dog out for a walk. I ordered a breakfast that night for sometime between 9:00am and 9:30am the following morning, and it arrived promptly by 9:05am. The staff also allowed for a later check-out at 12:30pm to give me time to maneuver my belonging and dog. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend. They stopped serving food for room service pretty early.
The staff couldn't have been nicer and it made the stay that much more enjoyable! Highly recommended and will stay here again!
Friendly and helpful staff Clean Included wired and wireless Internet access (~8 Mbs up & down) Valet parking only ($15/day) Dated interiors Floors are creaky, can easily hear the guests walking around in room above
Overall we loved the hotel and will go back. Very clean, comfortable, quiet. Nice restaurant/bar upstairs. Courtyard peaceful. Staff very friendly. The paintings of the "Barbie"-like girls in the hallway were odd.
Love the idea if complementary cookies. I didn't eat any but the idea is great. Thanks. They nickle and dime you on the breakfast. $9.99 for a bowl of oatmeal. Nooooo! So sad. $30.00 for the two of us to have eggs, sausage and potatoes. Really. And the OJ was a separate charge, ouch.
The hotel has many positives such as: clean surroundings, friendly staff, great food, free wifi, & an inexpensive valet. N/A
I though the hotel's location was cool, off the main road but still tucked away and private. And the rooms were comfortable and newly renovated. I didn't like the rooms lay out. (No foyer or hallway to separate the room door from the sleeping area) You see the light leek in from under the door and the foot traffic in the hall feels very close as you lay in bed. Also the robes were only a large and fit me more like a child's robe than one for an adult.
Excellent overall value for money. Recommended, unless location is a problem. Not within walking distant to any attractions.
It was central to my needs. It was a very small room, Very little parking. Rules wouldn't allow me to have guests without clearing them with the front desk first.
location, staff was friendly internet wasn't working, seems to have bedbugs
Very clean room, very comfortable stay, friendly staff and had HBO The surrounding area was ok
I like that the came with time warner cable, a fridge, and microwave. The manager lady was rude, my room smelled like cat urine, the shower sucked, couldn't check into my room until 6p, it was just not a good experience.
I searched for hotels near universal studios and this one had a description that was near that attraction. But in reality it was 45min away. Very disappointed with the location. I had to drive out of my way after being at the theme park all day going by what the hotel description said. I tried to call to get my reservation moved to a hotel from the same company that was closer to universal studios but KAYAK refuse to make the change because I reserved 2 minutes after 12am. The hotel room was not bad but the location is very bad a lot crime around it not a good place to be with kids.
beds were okay and clean. Carpets were stained, yucky. Room, was dingy, cheapest furniture, drapery etc.
The Hotel rooms are spacious and the staffs are very good. It was a pleasant stay in the Hotel. No complain at all.
The price was great with free parking. Noisy from the streets. Only had smoking rooms available when we checked in.
Staff was nice although they charged our credit card even though we had pre paid. Location. It was shabby.
The fact that numerous people not staying at the hotel came into the breakfast sweet and practically cleaned out the breakfast buffet. Single people carrying 6 plus plates of food stacked up to their cars, obviously did not stay at the best western. The staff seemed like this was normal. Made me feel extremely unsafe. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN. Getting charged to park at a hotel I'm already paying for seems like a rip off
It's an older property, but in LA they tend to take better care of stuff than we do on the east coast. The hotel is in excellent condition and is very clean. The staff is very polite and helpful. The parking is underneath the hotel and seems secure enough. The air conditioner wasn't very effective but it wasn't very hot when I was there. It might just be the unit for the room I was in (307). For the price there is very little if anything to complain about.
Only the location if you need go early to airport I can´t recomended this hotel, it´s really horrible, i prefer best western in all my travel but this hotel...never come back
Location - right off the highway and next to a starbucks and McDonalds. it is also 4 minutes from the mall - Macys, Forever 21 and many restaurants. The breakfast was 3/5 as there was toast, eggs, waffles and cereal. Rooms are not very clean. The floor were extremely dirty, so i suggest you always wear sandals or socks. The couch had an extreme stench. So bad that we decided to leave 1 day earlier.
The price was reasonable and the room we were given at the back was reasonably quiet The location was not as expected and the breakfast room was very small.
