The restaurant and restaurant staff were fantastic!
From the restaurant to the pool to the beautifully manicured grounds: such a delightful getaway.
Restaurant was nice, good food and nice staff. Use Kayak and booking.com was convenient but, the hotel did not enter my information when they were supposed to. I was told when I arrived that because of that I would receive an upgrade from a single queen to single king. My upgrade was to a pet building at the rear of the property. The room smelled like a mixture of a wet dog and cheap dog shampoo. I asked to be moved and was told the only thing available was a suite which would be an increase in price. I will not stay here again and will inform my company (which frequents Baker City Oregon) not to use this hotel for our employees.
great views, rooms nice sized bed comfortable. our room was first floor so we had a sliding door out back, very handy for our dog pulling a boat so had to park with big rigs on other side of hotel
The place was very clean with a nice pool. The vouchers for a breakfast was a huge bonus for a family of 7.
If you love trucks. This is the place for you Resturant shuts down early so eat before 9
The room was very comfortable and beautiful
Friendly, helpful staff, excellent dining both selection and quality Need to find ways to be more accomodating to handicapped customers during check in- check out process e.g. shuttle luggage from parking lot. Only one handicapped parking space available close to entrance. Perhaps negociate more on street parking for handicapped with the City of Baker.
staff was friendly, meals good matress was alittle lumpy
The building was historical. Did not have hot water for the showers. Front desk did not acknowledge our presence when we were waiting.
Friendly, helpful staff; wonderful building No
the room was fantastic and i enjoyed the fact that they had such a choice in movies to watch.,
Please write at least 15 words. The attention to remodel detail. It was beautiful. The Beds and the pillows were terrible. A quality foundation and quality pillows would have made our stay here perfect.
The beautiful restoration of an old hotel
Location and access to the freeway The room was starkly furnished and there nothing in the bathroom to hang anything on nor were there any shelves to place toilettrie items on.
The staff was unfriendly, rude, unsympathetic, and completely unhelpful
Large room with high ceiling and crystal chandelier.
The price - but you get what you pay for. Location was good for what I needed. the staff were very friendly. It is old but was clean but not sure I'll stay there again on my next trip to Baker city. The small shower - the drapes would not close all the way and were missing hooks so was very "ugly". TV was to side of the bed so watching wasn't as comfortable. No alarm clock. No way to turn off bed lights without getting out of bed.
location to freeway Sink drain was plugged, H-V-C unit was as loud as a truck inside the room. paper thin walls, cigarette smoke- form surrounding rooms was terrible, no clock, 1 thin bed cover, breakfast was a joke, coffee was so weak it wasn't even brown. NEVER again.
Old facility. Needs upgrading. Newer air conditioner (very loud).
Indoor pool, complimentary breakfast, welcoming & friendly staff made our stay a nice one and we'll definitely stay there again.
Room was great and breakfast too
Stayed in a king size bed that was very comfortable. Only problem was they were lacking pillows and had to address this immediately upon settling in. Free wi-fi that was easy to use. Had a good breakfast options for coffee, juice and make your own waffles. You had to get there early for the coffee. Simple accommodations that met my expectations. Nice area to park large vehicles or those hauling campers, boats. Air conditioning a plus and worked well keeping the room cool! Hotel under renovation and there was parts and pieces everywhere. From a security standpoint, my door did not shut behind me. If you didn't check it, it was cracked open more often then not. Did not see an elevator for access to the 2nd floor for older guests. Toilet paper was plentiful however, not very good. One of the check in documents mentioned that if you dirtied the towels and they didn't come clean they would charge you for them? So if you spill your kids kool aide you end up paying for the towel? Not sure what that was about. Lose a room key? Cost you ten bucks. Don't leave the keys in the room when you leave either. I believe that was on that form I signed too. Kind of low rent. 1 coffee fixing in the room.
