Beautiful hotel and excellent staff but the room was cold and some of the corridors had no heat. Also we stayed in a twin room and discovered in the morning that we only had one towel between us, so the stay was uncomfortable.
The staff and the food
Our bedroom was cold. when we arrived it was so cold it was like the windows were all open. (they were not). We had to rush to a function and i popped up later to turn on the air conditioning (we were only given one room card and this was needed to keep the power on) it never heated up. when we went to bed, and it was late the bed was so cold we had to tajke the covers off the second bed. No one available in reception at that hour but to be fair it was late and i would't expect anyone to fix it at that hour. When i checked out i complained and they were sorry but that was it. i did get a good discount on the room but i still think the heat should work. The staff were nice and helpful and the food was excellent
Had an absolutely fabulous stay at this hotel last Friday night. We got an excellent deal through booking.com (€49 for a double room for one night) and were instantly upgraded to a beautiful suite when we arrived. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and very quiet. The hotel food was delicious. We were extremely impressed with the staff (they had catered specially for us as we were on a vegan diet and had gone beyond the call of duty with the food they had ordered in for us which was much appreciated, and the girl on reception was extremely helpful). Definitely one of the best experiences I've ever had at a hotel.
Nothing - just that we couldn't stay longer.
Very nice new hotel.Lovely decor.
Very very cold everywhere.Very dark in the front reception area no lights on.It would be more welcoming if you could actually see around the lovely foyer.Pity the fire was not on it would make such a difference. Its such a nice foyer you could sit down and relax if the fire and lights were lit on a cold winters night.
food was good and the staff were all attentive and polite
breakfast was very poor,i`ve had better at the premier inn
overall a very good hotel
only complaint is that i left out the notice to have breakfast in my room but it was not collected
Lovely Spa and pool area. Very relaxing.
Food was only avarage. Not great breakfast selection.
I found the girl on reception to be very friendly and professional.
No,but i found the reception area to be very bare as it is so big.I think a grand piano would be beautiful and would make the reception area stand out for all the right reasons.
