Friendly staffs! Perfect room!
Helpfull staff, clean, comfortable bed
Honestly, best hostel I’ve stayed at in Thailand all month. Great beds, including the bedding and linen and great air con. The hostel looks great, the complimentary breakfast is perfect - toast, jam, cereal, tea, coffee, water and the option of an egg. The location is 45 mins walk to the main shopping areas and 2 mins from the train and bus to get anywhere else quickly. The road it’s on has lots of street food at good prices and there’s a 7-11 too. Meaning I could buy a couple of cheap beers and enjoy on the terrace overlooking the busy street. Oh, 50 mins to the airport via the train too - winner! Many thanks to the guys for safely looking after my bags post check out at midday until when I left for the plane at 8pm, they even let me use the facilities to have a shower before going on my way too.
It was pretty quiet; that might not suit for some but it was pretty perfect for me.
It was quiet... pretty fun with the table tennis and table football.
I have to admit this is my least favourite place I’ve stayed in. We weren’t greeted very kindly and the staff didn’t seem to bothered we were there. The rooms look like prison cells. Literally a bed and then about 30cm and then a toilet in the private rooms which were 90 pounds for 3 nights! We were offered continental breakfast and additional meals we could pre book as we weren’t in a dorm and paid for private so we chose chicken and rice. When we got it in the morning it was cold and tough and clearly cooked days ago. Rooms weren’t clean and had stains on walls. We were on the 4th floor with no lift and had 2 bags each to carry up with no help offered and other than the lobby no air con. They also don’t tell you that when you leave the room they go in and turn your air con of as a policy... this isn’t on the booking site otherwise I would have stayed clear. We left a sign on the door to say do not disturb when we went out to chatachuk hoping they wouldn’t go in and turn the air on of as we would be sweating from the market all day. Came back and they had and it wouldn’t turn back on. Spoken to the staff and waited 30 minutes for someone to come and help us. Was really not an enjoyable experience. It was our last stop before home and kind of put us on a low. They also let in all the local Thai people because the hostel was so quiet which meant we couldn’t use the tables or sit down which would be fine if it was other paying guest but it wasn’t.
