  • Enter your preferred departure airport and travel dates into the search form above to unlock the latest Thailand flight deals.
  • Thailand has over 10 international airports because it is surrounded by several countries and due to its unique geography. Flights originating from the US to the country will arrive at one of three airports: Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK), both in the capital city of Bangkok, and Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) in the northern part of the country.
  • The northern part of Thailand is dominated by the provinces of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, both of which are within reach of Chiang Mai Airport. However, only flights from San Francisco Airport (SFO) use this hub, so if you arrive at either of the Bangkok Airports, you’ll have to arrange a connecting flight to either Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai Airport (CEI) to get there.
  • The Isan Region represents the eastern part of Thailand and there are four major cities there, including Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima and Udon Thani. Suvarnabhumi Airport is close to Nakhon Ratchasima, but the other cities are at least a 5h drive away, so flying into Udon Thani International Airport (UDD) will definitely save travel time that can be used to discover the region.
  • The popular resort island of Phuket and its world-class beaches lies almost 500 mi from Bangkok, but despite the distance, it’s cheaper to fly into Bangkok and get a connecting flight to Phuket International Airport (HKT) than to fly directly to Phuket. Therefore, you may wish to factor that into your travel plans when booking your flight from the US to Thailand.
  • Families traveling on holiday to Bangkok will want to check out KidZania, a miniature city tailormade for children to enjoy. KidZania is less than a 30m drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Siam Paragon downtown.
  • Due to its proximity to Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand, Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is a popular destination airport for most passengers flying from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Thailand. Indirect flights with a single layover at Tokyo International Airport (HND) on carriers like ANA and THAI are an option for passengers flying this route.
  • Travelers who come hail from the east coast region of the United States prefer to fly to Thailand from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Phuket International Airport (HKT). When using this flight route, passengers can take indirect flights with a single layover at Dubai International Airport (DBX) on airlines like Emirates and Qatar Airways.
  • Travelers from the central United States that intend to fly to Thailand typically use Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW ) as their departure airport. Many indirect flights with a single layover at Heathrow Airport (LHR) on different airlines, including British Airways and THAI, are accessible from this airport to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
  • If you're flying to one of the northern cities in Thailand, the Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX), which serves Chiang Mai Province, might be a better airport option. John F. Kennedy International Airport offers two-stop flights with stopovers at Heathrow and Suvarnabhumi Airports, on a variety of airlines to CNX, with Virgin Atlantic and Bangkok Airways being the most popular.
  • Take one of the indirect flights with a single layover at Heathrow Airport offered by EVA Air, China Airlines, or JAL from Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) if you plan to fly to Thailand from the northwest of the United States.

I put the review all together for the first review

I liked that they gave us a couple of meals and drinks but the meal was not good and not many options especially if we are seated in the back of the plane.

Again on this leg the WiFi wouldn't work. The seats were comfortable with adequate cushion and space between seats for my legs. Very nice 3-hour flight.

Everything was great, however the seats in the back are very small. Not as Comfortable as I would have liked.

Excellent food. Good service. Crammed Premium Economy seats. I Asked to change seats during check in. They told me the flight was fully booked. But on board I saw empty seats where I could have been easily relocated.

Good. Please add a non- applicable category to your questions.

Amazing crew, excellent food, business class seats seem a bit dated but are super comfy even for a very tall person. If continuing onto Taipei, the stopover in Bangkok is a bit annoying (queue at security) though the lounge is decent.

Boarding is fast and easy for economy class, food was ok baggage policies are good

Everything was fantastic! It was a short flight but the crew really went above and beyond to make it a great flight. I felt cared for with EVA.

Delayed due to no fault of flight crew. Efficient and worked well together.

One of the business class panels where we were sitting was broken and it didn’t close. Therefore, the be privacy was limited.

SEA HND sector internet only worked for the last 2.5hrs of flight….. never had this kind of incident with other airlines

12 of the 14 hours were in the dark, all during daylight. Didn’t use my light because it disturbed other people it was illuminating. 14 hours sitting upright in a cramped space was horrible.

I’ve always had pleasant experiences with ANA and that has made me a loyal customer.

UA discouraged people to choose seat on economy class by charging about three times of another airlines. For example, ANA will charge USD60 to choose an aisle seat but UA is charging USD 219.

Roomy airlines. Friendly staff. Timely service. Temp was warm during the flight.

As usual the flight from AUS in Austin to SFO was late because they didn’t have adequate staffing to board the plane on time creating a 1 hour delay, which resulted in me missing my flight to Osaka due to a missed connection. When I got to the gate 10 minutes late after landing exactly the time the connecting flight was taking off, I saw my flight to Osaka sitting at the gate and that gates had closed. I attempted to contact United Via chat on the United App and was given the runaround and passed between 2 separate “agents” who after saying they could rebook me, told me I needed to go to ANA even though they’re partners and all of my ticketing was through United. After going to ANA’s gate at SFO to try and get help I was told I would need to leave and go to United’s ticket counter in order to get help. The ANA agents said that it was United’s issue. An hour after running to try to make my flight I got to the United counter. I showed the agent my itinerary and she helped as much as she could. I was booked on a flight that would occur 13 hours after my original flight to Osaka and given $45 in vouchers which doesn’t cover much at SFO. I had also spent 30000 miles with United to get an upgrade with more legroom. And that was not refunded to this point. Ultimately I lost 1 whole day of vacation in with my wife and kids and, the 30000 airline miles and I’m out the money and time I spent. In these situations United and their partners should go out of their way to communicate and accommodate but I was left to my own devices to find the right resources. The only option was to fly to Seoul 12 hours and take a connecting flight to Osaka: I am a United Skyniles member and would not recommend booking a flight with them unless you thoroughly understand the routes as it is likely you will be left to your own devices to resolve the situation.

The food was terrible and totally inedible. If you are flying with ANA/United bring your own food it was a long flight to be hingry

Staff at gate and crew on plane efficient and friendly.

Service is great. Seat is ok. Not much storage room and seat is hard but seat topper was nice. Cabin was very warm most of the flight. Washoku Food was good.

The flight was mostly smooth and direct (although it was 2 hours late). The glow of the flight attendant’s phone was annoying as I tried to sleep on this midnight flight.

The plane was not clean. Vomit was removed from seat-back pocket right in front of me. The flight attendants were rude to one another. 3 children were seated together with their parents across the aisle. The children fought physically with one slamming another’s head into the plane wall at one point. The parents were aware, but took no action to intervene. Delays occurred in Atlanta after boarding before takeoff, in the air, and in Detroit after landing (no ground crew assigned). Flight attendants offered no support for connecting flights. There were weather conditions on each end of the flight, but I didn’t mark down my ratings for these.

MSY had lots of coffee/breakfast options for morning flights. Bathrooms were clean. Lots of filling stations for water bottles. Delta flight was on time. The plane was clean. The staff was friendly and efficient.

London to Atlanta was good. Atlanta to Phoenix was not. Poor boarding as I had to check my rollerboard even though there was plenty of room in the bins. Crew seemed inexperienced. Sat just off the gate for nearly 30 minutes with no explanation from the pilot while the cabin got hot. I typically have a much better experience with Delta.

I had only one problem. The temperature on the flight was too COLD. I froze throughout the flight. I thought it might be only my problem but when I went to the restroom during the flight, I saw several people huddling in their jackets. A couple had their winter coats on and I was jealous since I had only a very light jacket.

Our flight was delayed by over 4 hours due to a maintenance issue. They announced a new plane was on the way. We were given a $12 food voucher ( airport food is quite expensive You can’t even by a water and a small snack for 12:00. 4 hours later we boarded and landed in Atlanta at 10:20 ish pm. Of course we missed our connection and we were given a hotel voucher and another food voucher ! We didn’t make it home until 11:00 the next day ! Unacceptable

Everything about this flight was good except for the very end when I reached my destination. Everyone from the tune to the wheelchair escorts were great with the case were great but I miss you with people at the check in this at the very end. I need help from the chicken desk because I forgot my pillow on the plane The female worker at the chicken desk said that they found my pillow and she was going to retrieve it for me. She left a 30 minutes without any update and her so she saw me walking back and forth waiting for her and they didn't even bother calling her or radioing her for any updates. They were busy because they were behind schedule and they were overwhelmed but thanks because at least glanced me and try to give me an update just a quick radio check or phone call. I don't care about the pillow but if you tell me to wait, I waited for at least half an hour before I said something and I just left because they wouldn't bother talking to me so I could, so everything's going in the review. I took pictures of the two men that were left working at the check-in counter. The totally ignored me despite the signals I've been giving them. I don't see any offers in the kayak review to add pictures or screenshots so I'm going to post another review I don't know their name but I'm pretty sure Delta will find other names when they see the review. Google with pictures. There was another guy at the chicken counter bring an orange workers vest who finally left after telling me that the girl that was retrieving my pillow is working the gates now. That would have been if they just told me that's what happened. But I had no update. Make me wait for nothing. Thank you Delta airlines!

We had a great experience with Delta. They helped us from the start at the kiosk all the way to our final destination, including help reassigning and upgrading our seats free of charge at the gates, escorts with the wheelchair for my brother and even getting our luggage at baggage claim for us. I also had special help because I forgot my pillow on the plane. The wheelchair escort contacted for associates at the check-in desk all the way back to the plane and retrieved my pillow for me.

Crew was real good, flight was smooth and came in early.

The CRJ-900 was clean but the overhead air vents were broken in our First Class row, making the cabin very hot until about 30 mins into the flight. The flight attendants were both extremely apologetic and accommodating though so that is why I rated the flight as very good. They checked on us many times and truly showed they cared. The snacks for an hour and a half flight could be better. Would be nice if there was a small plated meal over convenient store snacks. WiFi also was not working. And it would be nice if Delta had adjustable headrests on these planes.

The service was better on this flight from the long haul one, but still very poor from The Cathay Pacific of the past.

The plane was dirty, the seats were torn and broken, the service was the most terrible ever, the bathroom dirty, they will not even serve water you had to request it, the meals were terrible, overall less than Zero, I will never fly Cathay Pacific again.

Despite the crew's rough day, they were all very focused and friendly. The flight was too short for a meal, so no rating on that. Re. the AA app. It still isn't ready for prime time. AA works with Cathy Pacific for international flights to LA and the Aa jump to PHX. But the AA app can't find my trip and this can be problematic with flight delays and regatings at LAX.

Was not able to board flight because boarding pass name did not match passport name and no one caught it.

Seat was very old. Didn’t easily go up and down. Flight Attendent had issues moving the seat. Condition of the seat was ok. Parts were peeling off by the foot area. Food was ok. Ran out of the dish I wanted so got the beef. Beef filet was very tender but the sauce was a little strange. Disembarking was very easy.

My connecting flight was canceled or never existed. My stopover went from 1 hour and a half to 10 hours. It was a long day that I wasn't prepared for and it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Cathay is great though. Great staff, entertainment and food.

Baggage delayed for 2 days and still chasing for reimbursement of basis items. Very horrible customer care service.

Crew experience was more transnational, seats were so close together (LtoR and FtoB) that it was difficult to enjoy much of anything. When the person in front leaned back, there is no space for me. Sadly it was a flight to be endured not experienced.

One of the worst flight in business class by qatar airways and I’m no stranger with qatar airways businesses class, I travelled with the extensively in the past 12 years

Everything was good food could be better but ok for economy on my 2nd flight the head ph jack are bad you have to hold pushed in to hear anything but other then that very nice service

Boarded from a very small gate at LAX. Staff at gate had us line up, then waited 25 minutes to board without a word of explanation. Plane arrived on time then waited 20 minutes for a plane to vacate our gate. Majority of bags arrived after 15 minutes but it took an hour for a small number of remaining bags to be off-loaded despite my “priority” bag tag.

It's fine but Newark to Nashville was too long

The flight was delayed because they closed several flight ways because of air shows, fire works, etc.

Horrible experience. They delayed our flight 7 hours!! We had to seat at the airport with kids on 4th July all day!

The kid in the middle seat kicked me almost the whole flight, almost kicked my hot tea off my tray. The flight was delayed due to the first plane not being able to be de-iced in July! We had to get a new plane. Now I drive 3 hours back to Edmonton because direct flights from PVR were way to expensive

Excellent communication from the staff. We actually arrived early. Very friendly and professional staff.

Excellent flight. On time. Great staff. Clean and crisp cabin.

The flight was delayed by a hour and I wish they had communicated it sooner. No issues on the plane, it did take a while for food to come.

Staff members were not helpful they ignored all calls for an attendant.

Is ANA airlines not united airlines, ANA airlines crew working professionally , more services providing, happy face to service customer
