8.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfully relaxing, nice pool area. Room was beautiful and bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms and showers were lovely.
Cons: Parking was awkward. Only in the back of the building and not even big enough to park full capacity. Breakfast was also awkward as they had a difficult time working during a busy rush of people. Did make it up to us by giving us free lunch.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Great restaurant that gladly provided excellent vegan meals.
Cons: Poor housekeeping staff.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The water was hot and the mini bar fridge worked. Room service was lovely and pillows were nice. Lobby was lovely and staff professional.
Cons: What a horrid, rundown dump. Hallways reeked of mildew, carpeting was dirty, marble stained, bathroom reeked of stale urine, towels were worn and one stained w red fingernail polish, bed was as hard as a rock, and I felt itchy all night like bugs were biting me. The room was super noisy and we heard every person who walked by, and doors slamming all night! When we came back to hotel from a private party at 11:15pm, there was no parking available and no valet service...when we inquired if there even was a valet, the bellhop told us he didn't know anything about it. Overpriced, even w a 50% discount. This is s one star hotel at best. I will NEVER return.

5.0 Okay
Cons: Room wasn't ready on time. Someone's else's dirty washcloth was on tub. I was billed for grill food and was never at grill. I told staff in the morning but still watching to make sure I get the credit for the restaurant charges!!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is clean and has a great location. You're 20 minutes from downtown and the airport. You're outside of the congestion of the city, but close enough tof get to all that's great about Detroit!
Cons: I had to call the front desk to have my room cleaned one day. Housekeeping came at 9 in the morning, and when we we said we didn't need anything at that time, they never came back to clean our room while we were out. They came after 7 PM after we called the front desk to complain.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Great warm cookies. Comfortable beds. Excellent A/C. Nice work out facility & pool.
Cons: Too many pubic hairs in the tub. Makes one a bit leery for taking a bath.
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is inclusive, and the rooms are clean. Most of the staff I encountered were friendly. Overall, the stay was a good experience.
Cons: Some areas seem to not be updated and well taken care of. The pool room was empty of clean towels, dirty towels were scattered around, and the hot tubs were outdated and not as warm as most hot tubs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the getaway vibe of the hotel, it was just what I needed. It seemed like a slow night so thankfully it was quiet with the occasional slam of a door in the hallway. The warm cookie is always a plus
Cons: Going out in the evening was a blast but it seemed like the staff disappeared after 9pm. It seemed like a ghost town and a bit unsafe.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff when i checked in was great. Offered me a cookie, chips, and water. Very service oriented.
Cons: There was some hair in the bathtub when i arrived to my room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. It was quiet at least when construction was not happening. 15 minutes from downtown Detroit and close to other cities but not really "in" Detroit. Some state police were staying there so I parked next to their patrol cars just in case. A noon checkout time was also very flexible.
Cons: Details details... There was construction on every floor instead of one floor at a time so you couldn't get away from the noise. They didn't start until about 11am which is considerate however we got in at about 3am so it was not the wake up call I was looking for. The TV remote only worked sporadically. Again, not the end of the world but another frustration. We had an issue with our key card and the response was "do you want a cookie?" Not in a rude way by any means but really? The bathroom door had to be shoved closed and the vending machine was completely empty. We also purchased a Starbucks bottled drink from the gift shop that had been expired for two months. Those don't keep well. And for the love of God please take the "Detroit girlz" shirt out of the gift shop window. It's a double tree, not a dollar tree.

7.4 Good
Pros: The value and location
Cons: The bed and pillows were uncomfortable
6.5 Good
Pros: Location was good, easily accessible. The room was clean enough and the staff wasn’t overly welcoming but they were not rude.
Cons: Upon checking in, I was not greeted with friendliness. I was given a room on the first floor, even though requesting a room on another floor the gentleman told me it was the only room left. Didn’t even bother to check, just said it was the last room left unless I wanted to switch to two queen beds. I was given a room next to the electrical room, so it was quite loud. The room had an odd sort of stale smell to it. The mirrors had marks on them from not being wiped down. Floor was sticky in some areas... did not feel comfortable taking my shoes off. The hair dryer provided in the room did not work, as the outlet was broken so I called for a different one and they said they didn’t have one but they had an extension cord since they were aware the outlet was broken.... when I was done, I returned the cord to the front desk in case anyone else needed one. An apology was not given, nor was a thank you for returning it. A guest in front of me was requesting another pillow and the lady at the front desk at what type of room he had, he replied and she said she only has one pillow for him to use. What? Why does it matter what type of room he is in? If he was in better room/if he paid more, would he be able to have two pillows? I won’t be back to this hotel. Pretty disappointed with their hospitality.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The room was nice-- modern and spacious.
Cons: We stayed on a Saturday night. As we entered the lobby, it was absolutely chaotic. There were children running around, people were loud and boisterous and the area wasn't clean. Also the elevator is quite small and needed cleaning. We got to our room, and there were several parties going on across from us, next to us and on the floor above us. It was extremely noisy and we couldn't sleep. I called the front desk and complained. They said they would send someone up right away, but the noise continued. I would not stay here again for this reason.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: They were very accommodating, had a little market with snacks, and always had hot cocoa, tea, and coffee available no matter the time of day. The complimentary breakfast wasn't too bad either.
Cons: One of the staff, Hassam I believe, wasn't very good at explaining how the deposit worked. It was a little frustrating. Aside from that, nothing really negative to say.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Free coffee always Friendly staff
Cons: 1. Musty bathroom smell 2. Rowdy wedding party staying there that trashed the elevator and hallways and would run by knocking on doors at all hours
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great help was polite
Cons: The quite ano comfort Kids loved pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing! The issue we had was fixed immediately. The keyless doors were great, not having to stick the key info the for was a great benefit to us with young children.
Cons: Check in wasn't until 3
8.0 Excellent
Cons: no hot water for shower on sunday morning

6.0 Good
Pros: The overall look of the hotel is great. It has a glossy exterior and the lobby could be awesome.
Cons: Not clean. Poorly kept up, some very outdated amenities and rooms. Carpet ripped and dirty in many areas. Broken shower head in our room. Pool was freezing and need of refurbishing. Nice hotel, just needs a lot of work to make it great.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: nothing - had wedding there 25 years ago so wanted to go there on the anniversary - very bad experience. the hotel should be shut down in current state
Cons: no a/c maintence came as that the way all room are, soft and poor bed ,old creaky fixture in bathroom, rude staff and were frowned upon because we made reservation via 'third party. Shameful experience for our 25th anniversary. kayak
8.5 Excellent
Pros: And it is maintained exceptionally well. It is the best value in the area. Great launching platform for the Henry Ford Museum.
6.0 Good
Pros: Needs renovations. Wi-fi was terrible. Could not get on the system. The rooms were decent, but lacked outlets near the bed for charging electronics. Generally clean and pet friendly!
6.5 Good
Pros: Front desk staff, hot tub/pool, beautiful hotel
Cons: Rooms need serious updating and cleaning. The restaurant staff seemed to ignore us during breakfast and catered to the people who didn't look like us. We had to ask for everything...juice, menu, etc. While it was simply offered to others.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff was very friendly. It was very nice lobby area. The view was ok. Loved that they had exercise equipment over looking the pool so i could workout and watch my kids swim at the same time.
Cons: The pool is not located in a good spot. You have to walk through the lobby past every one to get there. It would be nice if there was a more private way to get there.
6.0 Good
Pros: Overall, the hotel is fine. It would go a long way to get some updates and better service persons and management. Training is needed here. Hardly a 3 star hotel, getting by on its previous prestige. For those unaware of the prior details, it probably is a bargain and seems quite nice.
Cons: Spent 40 minutes waiting to check-in. One person working desk with 20 customers in line. Second woman eventually showed up and helped. Woman who appeared to be management was present, but instead of helping with the long line of waiting guests, decided that it was more important to count the cash in the drawer than to help the tired folks waiting in a long, slow moving line. Small details like the outdated / worn carpet in the halls, stained carpet by the ice machine, peeled back covering on the elevator controls in the center of the floor...this all gets overlooked with good customer service. Poor customer service makes this stand out in my mind.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to attractions, friendly staff, nice place.
Cons: Pool was not open during my stay.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location and free parking
Cons: It took 40 minutes once we arrived at 11:20 P.M. to check in with only one person checking guests in. The was approximately 25 people behind us in line. Unfortunate that the hotel was so short staffed.
6.2 Good
Cons: Dance competition- -long waits for the elevators!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff. Nice large room. We only stayed for one night. Great service, would book again.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: There is no wifi , they told me there is , but they are liers .they didn't clean the sheet ,it was disgusting I gusse someone pissed on it
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: This the one nice house keeper who helped us find an actual clean room
Cons: In the first room there were makeup stains on the sheet, sticky counters, curtains didn't close, and a dirty wet towel shoved in corner of the shower. Second room the keys didn't work. Third room the blankets weren't washed. The only reason we stayed was this super nice housekeeper who brought us to a room she had cleaned personally (and actually smelled like cleaner). All rooms smelled like mildew and cigarettes. Fourth room the air conditioner was unplugged and when we plugged it in it smelled and made the worst noise all night long. We were interrupted while changing because maintenance absolutely had to put a new chair in our room (I had to hide in the bathroom in my underwear because that’s how persistent and adamant this guy was). We went through eight key cards because they kept dying on us. We tried to make the best of all of this but it put such a awful strain on our trip to stay in such a terrible, disgusting place.
