The location and style of Hotel
the room was really nice and even had dvd player the room was really far from everything, needed car to get around. with 2year old, a bit annoying. no bath products available. buffets weren't that great
The pool, views, helpfull staff Polish folk songs at 3.00 am
Good value for money, especially if you have hungry teenage children. They have a buffet system and you can eat as much as you like. The staff are very relaxed and helpful. The setting is beautiful. If you don't like walking up hills this is not the place for you, not suitable for high heels. Our room had only just been finished and smelt of paint. The safe was still in the box and the instructions were in Greek. The phone did not work. The worse thing is the electric goes off when you remove the door key so the fridge was pretty useless.
The staff and receptionist was very polite and helpful. The food was delicious
Oceanis apartments was absolutely amazing. The view from all the rooms is gorgeous. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any information about what to do around the area. Breakfast was not free. We were lead to believe it was-there's a paper in the room with info. The only prices that were listed was for Lunch&Dinner-Magically a sticker with a price appeared beside Breakfast on our last day. Still a wonderful experience!
The hotel has stunning sea views from all rooms, poolside, restaurant etc. Nikos, the owner, is very knowledgeable about local amenities and very helpful with car, boat hire etc. The hotel has an intimate, family environment great for complete relaxation. Its only a minor negative, but because the hotel is beside the main coast road, occasionally you can hear the traffic thru the double glazing. Also, I found the mattresses on the beds a bit hard, but others may prefer this to the really soft ones.
The grounds were beautiful, the view of the sea lovely and the public relations woman very helpful. The waiters in the dining room were a bit overbearing.
I really enjoy the service and how delicate and professional the staff is. Definetely there shoud be no carpets on the floor.
Our ground floor room, so near to the beach, was like living on the beach. The breakfast was nice as well, good room service. No, everything was ok.
The location over looking the sea. Meal times, you looked out over the sea to Albania. Quite impressive. They had thier own shuutle bus which got busy quickly. There was also the No. 7 bus that took you into town. € 1.10 each way. Taxi from the airport was € 17.00
The kindness of the hotel staff, the familiar and pleasant ambiance of the hotel.
Nothing. Its a hotel that desperately needs upgrade. The smell. We moved to another hotel after one night.
Exclusive resort, slightly expensive but good to pamper yourself now & again!
Quiet location, but not far from Kerkyra city. View is magnificent. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Private hotel beach. Calm sea due to secluded bay. Nice pool. Room was 3 stars at the most. Not enough sunbeds at the beach so you have to get up early to reserve the sunbeds. Working hours of bars/restaurants is inconvenient. For example, you can't get a drink at the beach after 5 pm, because after that time, they start calling the bar "a restaurant" where you can only have dinner. The bungallows and villas presumably offer a 5 star luxury, but at a very high price.
I very much liked being up-graded! beachside bungalow was marvellous. The hotel was very peaceful for such a large establishment, staff very friendly and helpful. I wished I could make tea/coffee in the rooms. I wish the internet connection was better.
It has fantastic view and the rooms are excellent. The breakfast as well was superb The beds are too stiff and they were not so comfortable
Place, views and swiming pool. No.
We very much appreciated the comfortable beds and the cleanliness of the room. The layout of the hotel was lovely and the pool was nice and clean. The sea side view was spetacular! The breakfasts - after trying the eggs we stuck with only toast and maybe some fruit when we did in fact have breakfast there. The stairs to the pool when wet were dangerous as they were slightly slanted downwards as well. I slipped on them and badly sprained an ankle.
Friendlines of staff. the fact that we could get B&B only. Food. Small pool with no showers. Snack bar 12-4 only.
The mostly I liked during my stay at the hotel is the location, staff very friendly and responsive, the entertainment organized by the Hotel for their guests. In this regard, it is worth to mention that despite the fact that my vacation were out of the main season, in September, the Hotel was fully booked, which mean that it offers quality of services clients need during their stay at hotels.
Amazing views Breakfast
The views were amazing. The food was hot and could eat as much as you wanted. The beds were very hard and the walls were paper thin... could hear everything from the other rooms.
Room nice size, kept clean and with excellent view and in a good location - as expected. But would recommend that people book room only and pleased we didn't book half board We booked bed and breakfast - but the breakast was truely bad! The fruit juice was watered down, the bread did not taste fresh, the yogurt was watery, the choice was very limited etc. So poor in fact that we only ate breakfast at the hotel once - we elected to go to a local taverna and pay extra to have a really nice breakfast for only 5 euro's each
The view of Paleokatrista, the swimming pool, quiet hotel. Not enough chairs and umbrellas near the swimming pool. The restaurant make not a very good food, international dishes not greek specialities and not a lot of vegetable and fruits. The breakfast is simple, but the yogourt is special , liquid ( added with milk or eater ?)
Good location for our purposes, good value for money, friendly helpful staff Breakfasts were a bit predicttable and not particularly good
the buffet breakfast was the poorest i have had anywhere in the world, the hotwater barely worked, the price was very high for what you get. i would never recommend anyone to stay here.
Located centrally in a small bay with beautiful views and restaurants below and to one side. Tours of the surrounding headlands by small boat are highly recommended in this very rewarding few days stays. Not long enough as I thought the place to be a real gem.
We stayed just before the holiday season got going. We found the manager Craig excellent nothing was too much trouble. The accomoddation was basic but comfortable and the location excellent. We had a great break! The beds were rather hard and creaky
The location is excellent, the beach is on the other side of the road. Excellent view over the sea from the balcony. Rooms are big enough, clean, equipped with air-conditioning. We had halfboard: the breakfast is OK, however a bit boring to eat the same thing for a week (bit more choice for coldcut, cheese and packed yoghurt instead of yoghurt from a common dish would have been welcome). The dinner was a 3-course menu with 3 choices for each course, small portions, but the three course together enough to feel full. Extremely nice staff in the restaurant. Twice during the week there was a concert/karaoke in the restaurant, which of course was possible to hear in the rooms as well. However, in both cases they ended around midnight.
the view it was dirty
Location,Staff were friendly and helpful.
Location and views - right on the beach. Very nice staff and lovely restaurant. Also nice restaurants nearby. We were in the annexe. The shower was a bit of a pain to use - just a tray, no curtain or holder for the shower to attach to. The bathroom floor was wet as the water did not drain away easliy. We were only there 2 nights so was ok to cope with.
The owners and at the same time, management of the hotel were very friendly. They tried to help on each and every occasion. The rooms were not luxury or sth. The hotel has basic features but it is clean and tidy. I can say that I found just what I expected. But have to mention that if someone goes there with some sort of an expactation of staying in a luxury one, he / she would be disappointed. It is basic, clean. fair for the price but not luxury. One specific detail should be mentioned I believe. The location and the seashore of the hotel is absolutely the best on Corfu. However, if one does not travel with car or doesnt intend to hire one, the 25 kms distance between the city center and the hotel can create problem.
Actually two things amazed the most in the hotel: the location, right in front of the gourgeous beach of Palaiokastritsa, and the friendly staff, especially the ones in the bar and restaurant, which is by the way worthwhile to try very often during your stay in Corfu.
I found the location of the hotel and the surroundings excellent. The room was clean and tidy. The staff was pretty helpful.
Location. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff Steps. Malfunctioning tv and air conditioning.
The location of this hotel was great. Right on the beach with shops and restaurants on its doorstep. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms had a lovely character about them. I think the bathrooms could be improved - they're a little old. Occasionally a smell would come up from the drain which was unpleasant and you also flood the whole bathroom when you take a shower. We would still go back though.
It was ok!
The owners and staff were extremely friendly and did their utmost to make our stay enjoyable; they bent over backwards to give us assistance should we need it and entertained us very well. The room was large, airy, well-decorated with good facilities. The hotel was charming in aspect and the food was excellent. The location could not be rivalled, situated right next to the beach in what has to be the most beautiful bay we have ever seen.
Good location next to a beautiful beach with great view. Friendly staff. Good restaurant with great breakfast. Typical european style bathroom.
The owners were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are basic but clean. Close to the beach and restaurants. Many steps (with luggage) to get to sea view rooms.
Friendly hotel staff; very near to the beach; good quality of the food; excellent knowledge of English language of the staff;
Excellent value. Clean. Oustanding location and view. Superb staff. very firendly.
This is a family-owned hotel, runs by the family, and they are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel location is excellent, it's right next to the beach. Every hotel room has it's own individual air conditioning unit and a decent-sized fridge - pretty nice. We have been to other Greek islands and stayed in hotels there. The room here is somewhat small by comparison. Having said that, we think the room is adequate and it has bathroom, fridge, air conditioning, etc.
Staying at the Zefiros hotel was the best choice we could make.Simple but tastefuly decorated - all white and clean. I travel with my sister and my mother and our budget was a little bit tight. The hotel offers really good value for money: The location is perfect as we don't drive. The hotel is located just in front of a nice beach although we prefered a more quiet one just two minutes away. In front of the hotel you can catch a bus to Corfu town and spend the day in the old town. The hotel is run by a family that owned it for two generations. Iren and Johny are extremely helpful and kind. I do recommend the food at the hotel! And the staff, specially Ashley, is so nice! We will come back.
