The Lake is also abundant with Jumbo Perch, Crappies, and large Northern Pike. Prime fishing is early and late in the season, which is nice since rates are reduced during this time. 14’ & 16’ fishing boats, 18.5' ultimate Fish & Ski Boat, a 25’ pontoon or lifts for your boat are available for rent. Wonderful Cape Cod style cabin on one of Minnesota's premier lakes! Great for boating and fishing or relaxing on the sandy beach. This cabin features full panoramic lake view windows across the front and sides for excellent ventilation. Finished in knotty pine, the interior of this 1060 square foot cabin has 3 bedrooms; 2 king beds, 1 queen bed and a daybed with 2 twins. We provide the bed linens and kitchen towels. There is a full kitchen furnished with almost everything you'd have at home; with a full stainless fridge, oven, microwave, dishes, calphalon pots and pans, cups, mugs, glasses, rice cooker, crock pot, mixer, steamer, knives, silverware, coffee pot and toaster. The bathroom has a shower. There is a flat panel TV with DVD player and many family friendly movies to watch. There is a good size kitchen table. A comfortable couch, loveseat and pine wood rocker are found in the large living room. There is a Weber grill out back for grilling your fresh caught fish, steaks, burgers, hot dogs or chicken. The large spacious deck has wrap around seating and a wooden table that seats 8. The wooded lot is set back and deep with wonderful shade and great places for yard games. We have the largest beach in the area at 125 feet of sandy beach and you can walk out in the lake for a hundred yards without going over your head. There is a 40 foot long dock and 1600 pound lift available for your use. A fire ring with ample woodpile allows for great lakeside bonfires at night. OtterTail Lake is one of Minnesota's premier Walleye fishing lakes at 14,400 acres. It boasts holes of 75 and 125 feet deep and many flats and drop offs for excellent fishing and boating. There are gorgeous sunrises and beautiful moon rises and the many local loons will sing you to sleep at night. There is more lake shore in Otter Tail County than any other state in the nation with all of the other excellent local lakes. Bring your own or rent local boats, pontoons, jet skis. Guide services are available in the area. Your can golf at one of the numerous courses in the area including the Thumper Pond and Balmoral courses on the other side of the lake. You can shop at any of the quaint local shops in OtterTail City or within 20 minutes to Perham or Battle Lake. This is a great deal considering this 3 bedroom cabin rents for less than a single king room at nearby Thumper Pond. HomeAway

This cabin is located on Ottertail River, at the North end of Ottertail Lake. Prime location for bridge jumping, floating down the river, fishing, kayaking, and many other activities. This cabin features a very large and level yard. It has a firepit and room for many yard games such as volleyball, sandbags and much more. Inside, you will find a newly remodeled 3 season porch with a beautiful view of the water. You will also find plenty of room with two living spaces, kitchen, 2 baths, 2 bedrooms, and a pullout couch. One bathroom recently remodeled as well as one bedroom recently remodeled. It is located two minutes away from groceries and gas. There is a large dock, with ample space for fishing, suntanning, and water fun. You can always bring a boat and tie it up to the dock all week, where it will not be affected by the wind if you were on the lake side. You can either boat or drive to the famous pizza place Zorbaz. It is also very close to Thumper Pond Golf Course which includes a water park, in case you have a rainy day. We hope you enjoy our cabin as much as we have for the past 10 years.
