Room was great, brilliant central location. The service from the guys working there was excellent. They booked us a restaurant one night and booked us a day trip with a local driver for another day.
The only problem was the Wifi was not that great and it seemed that you couldn't have more than 2 devices connected at any one time.
The hotel has a perfect location, in the heart of Al Hamra. The level of hygiene is more than perfect. The rooms are super comfortable and modernly- furnished and the staff are very polite and helpful.
The location is really good. It right on Hamra St which is super central, easy to get around, lots of facilities nearby such as restaurants, shops, pharmacies, etc. If you want to be in the middle of a buzzing city, then this is the best location. If you want something quieter, in a more quiet and composed neighbourhood then I suggest to find a different hotel. The rooms are very clean, everything worked fine, there is a little kitchenette, a washing machine, bathrooms are good too, although the showers in the smaller rooms are very tiny, if you’re a taller or bigger person, I suppose it wouldn’t be too comfortable. There are also coffee and tea making facilities and a fridge. Staff is great, very nice and accommodating.
The racket is insane. No matter which floor or what way your windows are looking at... the constant sound of cars signalling, people talking, shouting, music playing, loud motorcycles or sports cars flying by, at ANY POINT during the night or day... if you’re a light sleeper, you just will not sleep. Even rooms with noise cancelling windows won’t do it. At least they didn’t for me. Had to sleep with earplugs in but those will fall out eventually during the night and cars honking at 3 am will undoubtedly wake you up. This is a great place for a short stay, if you’ve never been to Beirut before and want to be central to everything. BUT if you’re yearning for a relaxing stay to spoil your senses and come back refreshed and rested: spend some more cash and book a hotel with a pool and a beach away from all this city noise or at least in quiet downtown Beirut. It is ABSOLUTELY worth it to stay in a hotel like that if you want a relaxing holiday. Everywhere else - you just wont sleep.
Location is superb Staff are helpful
Facilities Below average quality toiletries (soap and shampoo ... etc) Furniture is not in best condition
