Bilzen Hotels

Particularly the food and the service at the bar were good. The beds were really -bad-.The walls were really thin.

The bath was lovely and huge! We had a small patio area to ourselves. Nicely decorated. I think a sewage pipe may have been leaking as the smell in the corridor was horrendous. The toilet flush button also kept sticking and we had to keep fixing it.

Room very dirty, specially the bathroom. in the room there was a very bad smell. I don't reccomend this hotel.

It was a lovely quiet (too? no staff at premises) situated in a quiet village 20 mins away from Maastricht (our destination). some nice restaurants at walking distance. Good breakfast, all in all well taken care off! will come again, and advice others

The postition, it was easy to walk into the town. Also it was a town we had visited previously by boat and we wanted to return. The invisibility of staff. You do not want them there all the time, but on our last night we had the feeling we were alone in the hotel.

The owner of the hotel is very friendly and gave us direction to a very simple and good Belgian restaurant. She also cooks fresh scrambled eggs with bacon for each customer in the morning. The rooms are quite old and need some renovation.

Location,silence

This is the second time I stay in Hotel Apollo, despite being a very simple place we enjoy the hospitality of the owners and the nice breakfast. Second reason we like this place is because about 500 meters away is a very simple restaurant that has great beer and mussels.

This is not a hotel, it's a simple house, should not be in the site as a hotel. The staff doesn't speak english neither french, and keeps talking in flamish all the time, even after I've said I didn't speak that language. I didn't find anything that was described as the hotel features, like pool and etc. Don't let yourself be seduced by words, it's just a very simple house. Even Etap is better!!

The owner was very friendly and breakfast was wonderful with warm bread, yogurt, fresh meat and cheese, eggs and bacon!

The hotel staff was friendly and polite. The Hotel was just like as I had expected. Surroundings were quiet and peaceful.

The hotel is ideally placed, on the Belgium / Netherlands border. It is easy to find and has ample parking. The room was clean and nice, if a little dated. The breakfast is extensive. The restaurant serves quality food, so is priced accordingly. I feel that the rooms need updating in order to justify the price charged and also to reflect more clearly the style or atmoshphere that the hotel wishes to create. Air conditioning would be a welcome addition.

Nice looking Hotel. Nice Environment. Close to all facilities. Close to Maastricht, Liege and Vise. Good start for trip to the Belgium Ardennes as well. Cosy breakfast room and service. Room was in good condition and clean Not applicable

It was a lovely quiet restful hotel, they locked our bikes in the garage overnight for safety.

the village and the location as such was ok the Hotel was not prepared for the heat (not a mistake) , but no flexibility was shown to optimize the situation for the many guests. The cellar-level breakfestroom was (is) of no charm, to say it friendly.

I asked for a non-smoking room, but I was not informed that the room was a smoking one. Anyway, I could not feel it.
