Cons: It was quite a small room but ok, sink is outside toilet as the toilet was small too. There isn't much choices of restaurant except those more hit and go Bus station type of cafe. It is a distance away from the main city area so transport is needed to go to the city, although not too far. Taxi is widely available and affordable.

Cons: The staff at the reception is very friendly, but partly unprofessional. At the check-in it took them 15 minutes to figure out the correct price in Kyrgyz Som and in the end they charged too much, because their Mathematics knowledge was poor (but they paid me back in cash). I also asked for a wake-up call at 3:30 a.m., because I had a very early flight. They called me 20 minutes later. The staff in the breakfast restaurant was partly not attentive: One morning, they asked me, if I would like to have tea/coffee and something form the menu, but another day they did not greet or come, just talked to each other. My last experience in this hotel in May 2019 was much better. They should improve the service quality, if they want to maintain a high standard.

Pros: This guesthouse(villa) is an oasis of tranquility in the center of Bishkek. The rooms are very spatious and decorated with much taste. The villa has a lovely garden where one can enjoy a nice cup of coffee/ tea or have a nice chat with the delightful host, Gulmira. Many thanks Gulmira for making us feel at home from the first moment and for telling us so many interesting things about kyrgistan!

Pros: Adina & Ernest are two fantastic employees of this hotel. Adina is at the Reception and Ernest is allround as Bar Man, Room Servant and doing anything to make the hotel client happy. Adina and Ernest are outstanding in service and friendliness next to all other hotel personnel, which are all very good. It is a true pleasure to stay in this hotel with such wonderful and friendly personnel. A special word of thanks to Adina and Ernest for their super performance.

Cons: It was 95 - 100 (34 - 38) degrees everyday and the air conditioning simply could not keep up with the heat. So, it was uncomfortable to sleep. Water temp fluctuates frequently during shower. The suites have these jet tubs which clearly no one uses. The shape and design make it difficult to take a shower. I saw the walk in showers of the jr suites and they looked great. They should change the tubs out for the walk-in shower option.

Cons: The hotel is quite noisy. Problem of heating: we did not receive any written notice but when we arrived the hotel staff wanted to transfer us to a hotel with lower standard. It was not possible to speak to any manager (we arrive on a Sunday)... We were very disappointed. The breakfast could be really better.

Pros: A really, really nice hotel to stay at in Bishkek. The receptionist was very helpful and knowledgeable about how a foreigner can navigate Bishkek and surrounding areas. Very easy to communicate in English. The hotel and my room were spotlessly clean. Large shower with good water pressure and lots of hot water. Fast wi-fi that cut out for only maybe a few seconds during my stay. Good work desk and chair along with kettle and refrigerator were appreciated. Located on a quiet road and just a short walk away from a large shopping center. I would definitely stay here again

A small issue arose regarding payment (a misunderstanding on my part) the lady that morning could not do enough to help and eventually sort it out with no fuss. "Go have breakfast" and I will have it sorted when you come back, and she did. :-) Rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast was fresh, may be a little sparse but no complaints, again staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quite street but just up at the corner there are plenty of restaurants, shops and stores. Everything you need. Centre of town is about 2km stroll. Would stay there again, no problem.

Cons: Would wish the old wallpaper in the room was substituted with fresh paint. Would also wish the hallway carpet given stronger cleaning. There was an empty plastic bottle, presumably from an earlier guest, hidden from view under a bed-stand. (Found it when I pulled the bed-stand to use it as a luggage rack.) Neighbourhood appearance and upkeep were comparable to other parts of Bishkek but the street is harder to find here because of the narrow width & inconspicuous appearance. (As I said, the street is like a "soi" in Thailand.)

Cons: people were allowed to smoke in the restaurant and in bedrooms. It only took one person’s smoke to pollute the whole restaurant which is very off putting. Also, on occasion, smoke from the rooms opposite, or next door to my room, came through to my room. Why not have a designated floor for smokers? Smoking should be prohibited in the restaurant. The seated reception area next to restaurant could be used for smokers - or outside. It’s a shame as everything else just perfect but the smoking issue would prevent me from staying again.

Cons: Breakfast was disappointing. Not a lot of variety, especially in vegetarian dishes and bread. There are people smoking in the restaurant/bar, very unpleasant. Moreover, this is also the place where breakfast is served next mornings. The rooms were too warm, unbearable. Staff appeared unable to turn heating off. The only solution staff had was opening the windows. Very unpleasant in the city centre.

Pros: All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Big John the Duty Manager was especially helpful when we had some troubles with the vehicles we'd rented. He kindly offered to help us find some replacement parts that were difficult to source, drove us to the Bazar to pick them up, and provided translation with the locals to help barter for a decent price! Thanks again Big John!

Cons: We had to change room as we were initially given a room in the garden area which had a galvanised roof- it was not possible to sleep here as the noise was so loud from the ceiling anytime the wind blew. The second room had an old air conditioning unit that was in need of a clean and service, the boiler in the bathroom was leaking all over the floor and left the bathroom stinking of must. Room was old and decor outdated. Breakfast was awful.

Pros: Location was very central. Check-in and check-out process was fast and smooth.
Cons: At first they gave us a room with broken bed. The staff kindly changed the room. However, new room had broken window handle, stains on the couch and the bed was very hard. We could barely sleep. The furniture looks really cheap and it felt like the bed can break just by sitting down on it. We couldn’t handle and stayed over for a night at friends place. The breakfast was average, both times they gave same things and half of products were cold. The whole 4th floor was smelling like cigarettes because of Chinese people who smoked in their room. The smell of smoke even came to our room. For the price of 150$ that we paid for two nights we weren’t satisfied. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Bishkek. There are far more hotels that will provide better rooms for same price. This hotel is over priced for what they offer.
