breakfast is very good, location near city center+train station.Decoration is funky. i didn't like that no reception representitive is available after 8PM,so it is impposible to expect any hotel services after this time.
Only 5 euro for WiFi, smoked salmon for breakfast, free fruit in reception and free bottled water when checking out - all good value. Charged for local calls used as part of a calling card. These should be free calls.
Family run hotel with excellent service. Location is close to S Bahn stop and located downtown near quality resturants and a beer garden.
This hotel is very central in the town & excellent for visiting the Brauhaus. The staff were very friendly & the room was excellent as was the breakfast.
Staff very kind with maximum availability towards the customer. Breakfast ok, in a familiar atmosphere.
Close to lots of restaurants and bars in Boblingen. The hotel restaurant had excellent food. 1. No hotel parking. Two spots were allocated for hotel guests but the spots were always full. There was ample public parking at a nominal fee all around. 2. The internet was inoperable my entire stay. Those with access to Panzer Kaserne can use the wireless hot spot outside the USO. 3. The noise of the street (both traffic and bar-goers) was loud and continued well into the morning. The noise died down at 0530 on Sunday morning and 0230 on Monday morning.
Heat restriction on a cold night
Very quiet and very clean hotel with lots of privacy. The bathroom was always scented with perfume after cleaning - very nice. Toilet across the hall from the room - not a big deal at all.
* Staff is very friendly, even waited for us when late for breakfast. * Beds very comfortable. * 1970s charme * Located centrally in Böblingen * No guide (how-to) in room * No remote control for tv * Showering gel and shampoo only for one of two nights
Lovely on the inside. Great location and clean.
Nice and friendly environment Wireless internet in the room is missing, although this is claimed as present in the booking.com prenotation webpage.
The hotel was situated in the centre of the town which is ideal. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We actually were given a mezzanine room so with three aduts sharing this was very spacious. We were disappointed with the lack of choic for breakfast. Although we understand and accept that it was a continental breakfast apparently our friends who live in Germany said that it was usual practice for hotels to offer boiled eggs to guests. We were not given offered this. We were only offered cereal, breads with conserves, a choice of two meats (sausage they called it) and cheese along with tomatoes.
We indicated late arrival. The hotel manager called when the indicated time of arrival passed to see where we were, and helped us find the hotel. Excellent service!! Not somuch about the hotel, but more about the routing to this hotel. When inputting the address into a navigation system, the system will inform that the address is situated on a non-reachable street. It might be better to advise a different address for SatNav users (Untere Gasse 31).
In the room, it was a horrible smell from the kitchen.
Excellent Service; nice family driven hotel
Quiet central location within walking distance of the S-bahn station and shops. Selection of restaurants close by. No-one at reception after 18.00.
Owner/manager very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Simple small hotle well located. Nice breakfast room. Room backed onto the kitchen of greek restaurant so quite noisy. Very hot with inadequate ventilation (room), window looked onto wall (of greek resto) some 3 feet away. Hoel's resto was shut, but no advance info. Old german style of outside was not mirrored inside, quite yuk decor of room.
Friendly hotel manager was always available when we requested extra pillows and information. A garaged parking space was available for us throughout the stay (at extra cost). Nice, quiet room. Great shower! There was a smell from the restaurant next door, but we thought it wasn't as bad as some other people have said in their reviews.
The room was the biggest we've had in a private hotel in Germany, and it was well-appointed. Breakfast was a little skimpy by German breakfast standards. And there was no hair dryer in the bathroom (but having stayed at German hotels before, I had anticipated this eventuality and brought my own. Nevertheless, were I coming from the US, this would have been a problem because of the different electrical current and outlets.)
