The location was great, and the lobby is incredible.
You could feel the springs through the bed, air conditioning was noisy and the whole room was dusty. There is a dangerous step going up into the bathroom. Once you leave the lobby the rooms and hallways are quite dingy. Certainly not a 4 star hotel. We checked in late and the young man at the desk was rather unfriendly. We were also told our stay did not include breakfast, although this was stipulated on the reservation. He also said nowhere was open to eat at that time: 1am, yet walked two blocks to find 4 places open (near the train station). There was two of us, and would have liked to connect two phones and a laptop, but were refused as there was a max of 2. Overall, a very poor experience.
We found the staff very friendly and the hotel was very comfortable, warm and clean.
It was a pity that more of the guests did not use the bar in the evening.
Room was well kept, clean and offered all you would expect from such a hotel, reception desk staff very friendly and helpful when asked for information. Breakfast buffet was not grand but there was a nice spread of cheeses, cold cuts, a choice of boiled or scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, Italian breafast pastries, jams, butter, yoghurt, fresh and dried fruit.
For one the room as a bit too warm for my liking but I solved this by simply leaving a window open since there was apparently no way to turn off the heat. Also while the breakfast food and fresh juices were excellent the coffee left much to be desired, I would expect at least a nice moka or perculator-brewed italian coffee not an instant coffee dispensing machine.
The great location near the train station was great. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated.
Ended up staying in a smoking room when I had asked for non-smoking.
Friendly and relaxing.
Moslem compliant food to be provided for Moslem guest.
The rooms were beautiful, the staff had great recomendations on local resturants and attractions
Comfortable, clean hotel in a convenient location. Breakfast was good, except for lack of decent brewed coffee and somewhat rubbery scrambled eggs. Excellent espresso and cappucino were available on request.
Location suited us very well as only stayed overnight.
Air conditioning did not work
nice value for money.
