The staff (front desk and cleaning crew) were amazing! They were extremely helpful...going out of their way to provide great customer care.
The facility requires some refurbishing. There were some cracks in the paint on the wall and the refrigerator.
The staff were very friendly and efficient; the beachfront location was excellent; and the room was spacious, well-equipped (fridge/microwave); and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the sea is always a plus! The hotel occupies a prime position on a great beach, which is well-maintained, and has plenty of natural shade from palm trees. Jake's, the bar/restaurant opposite is very good: lively, and great food
The hotel does warn that wifi reception is intermittent, but in my room (60), it was non-existent. Admittedly the room was at one of the far ends of the block, but I would have expected some signal, some of the time. Investing in something more powerful would seem sensible! This is a small gripe, but the charge of BB$6 to replace a beach towel seems churlish. I've never experienced this before. The explanation that it's done to help protect the environment is pretty lame: if that really is the reason, why not just limit people to a couple of towels a week? The absence of any lifts in the hotel is not ideal (I was on the 3rd floor; Barbados is hot!)
Location right on the beach, rooms are large and airy.
Wifi... It was almost impossible to have a phone call through skype or whatsapp.
Breakfast was great
Staff was pleasant. Room was spacious and clean. Kitchenette had everything i needed.
