Pros: Lovely home cooked healthy meal with lots of gracious touches. Room was clean, warm and lovely, too. Janet and Barry are great hosts.
Pros: Located on a silent housing area. The owner’’s hospitality is very warm. The stay was cozy and nostalgic like in a grandparents home.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing!!!!!!! We will go again when we come next year for our family reunion. The host/hostess where friendly, lovey and kind.
Cons: We did not like to leave :)
Pros: Good food and kindness
Cons: Bed is small.
Pros: Breakfast was *amazing* (with both sweet and savory, freshly prepared, dishes) and made even more enjoyable by the owners' conversation and warm hospitality. The bed was very comfortable, and the room quiet. Everything squeaky clean. Just one of the personal touches that made it special: I motorcycled in, and, when it got time to leave, it was raining--the owners immediately offered rugs to wipe the rain off my bike's seat. Highly, highly recommended.
Pros: The couple who ran the bed and breakfast were very friendly and easy to approach. They made us feel right at home. The bedroom was much to our satisfactory and having a living room to ourselves was a great bonus.
Cons: The shower head needs to be replaced, it runs much to little water and much to slow
When you stay at Motel Bryson in Bryson, you'll be within the region of Mount Pakenham. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room was in great condition, with good facilities, and parking right in front of it, and the coffee and the snacks were good too.
Cons: Le staff ne parle pas francais. The staff could not speak french, despite being in Quebec. Not a problem for me, but might be for others The price was expensive
Pros: Beds very comfortable, bedding and linen very clean, room and bathroom very clean, and I liked the microwave and fridge.
Cons: Air conditioning a bit noisy
Pros: Perfect location for rafting
Pros: I've never stopped in a Motel before and only seen them in the Hollywood films. Therefore I was stupidly a little nervous about staying here for some reason. I think in this case I have watched too many films. I would happily stop here again. The check in process was a breeze. The lady on reception was very welcoming and helpful. She lent my girlfriend a hairdryer too. There is coffee in the morning in reception. And it was good coffee too. I was pleasantly surprised by the room. The bed was really comfy, there was a fridge and a microwave too. The Tv was good and the wifi was very good. The shower was excellent. If you had the same reservations about staying in a Motel like I did then trust me in that it's a great place to stay and you won't regret it.
Cons: Maybe a kettle in the room to make a hot drink. But that is me being English. We love a cup of tea.
Pros: Very helpful owners We got lost on the way. Phoned the owners and they gave good directions.
Cons: Nothing .
Pros: Good, clean, appropriately-sized room, very friendly staff.
Located in Fort Coulonge, Spruceholme Inn is within a 15-minute drive of Marchand Bridge and Chutes Coulonge. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was nice
Cons: We were disappointed not to be in the main house as per the pictures on the website.
Pros: nice rooms; nice site and area, facilities
Cons: No reception. Needed to find our room by ourself. Took some time. Some waited more than one hour. Little air in the rooms. No air condition, and the windows would not open. To warm. Spa not working. Limited breakfeast. No fruits.
Pros: We had to leave early so we did not have breakfast. The location was perfect for our event.
Cons: The room could have had either a tv or radio and at very least a phone.
Pros: We love the history, the peacefulness. We’ve been bragging about spruceholmes since we’ve been back home.
Cons: Although the breakfast was very tasty it was not enough for my husband who is a 6’4” guy. My suggestion would be to add more eggs and meat for the men. And maybe a side of fruit. And maybe switch it up. Not always the same thing every morning.
Pros: The host was really welcoming and served a pretty good breakfast.
Cons: There was hardly any staff in there to provide any kind of customer service.
