quite well located too much noise from outside
The breakfast was excellent on the terass with view of the port.
the price and the location in front the sea old outside but clean inside
I liked the location, close to city centre, walking distance. Too small room, no fridge in the room, not nice look out of the window.
lovely town on the port is being redone great spot
Friendliness of staff, cleanliness of whole hotel
The view and the balcony and friendly staff Noise from outside late at night
Great location, friendly and helpfull staff. Room was cleaned and the towels were changed daily.
Location fine but need a car. Breakfast and dinner we had were excellent, very pleasant staff at reception and in dining room Lack of insulation between rooms means noisy people next to you or above can be a nuisance - we were woken late one night and kept awake an hour! Could not watch Champions League football final in romm despite skye tv - did watch at bar downstairs
Very comfortable and well appointed hotel. Very good restaurant with own pizzas cooked right in the restaurant. Good local food as well
Brother & sister running the hotel were excellent: attentive, friendly, and professional. Restaurant was good value, with a good selection of authentic and traditional food, including a large selection of pizzas. Pizzas were freshly-made in the restaurant and cooked in a wood-fired oven: delicious! Just about adequate parking, with some underneath and therefore in shade. One waitress in particular could have been friendlier.
Hotel Meridiana is not attractive from the outside but inside it has been completely renovated with good bathrooms and fantastic views across the town of Arbus to the mountains in the distance. The swimming pool was great after a long days driving. The restaurant was nice and great pizzas cooked by the son. All together excellent value for money.
It was relaxed and close to everything - very 'Italian'and friendly The shower was small
location/shops no internet even when requested at reception
Whilst not quite reaching the standards expected by the international traveller, it is precisely what can be expected in a small town in the Sardinia countryside. What small deficiencies there may have been were more than compensated by the warmth and helpfulness of the staff.
Good-sized room; hotel is very central yet quiet if you have a room at the back. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, including fresh fruit. The furnishings and rather dark interior of the hotel make it look somewhat dull.
being in the center of the city, close to good restaurants and cafes. and free wifi
(1) Nice friendly staff (2) Hotel is right in the middle of small village with cheap eating options and great views (3) Good parking (1) For the services provided Hotel is extremely overpriced (2) The beds are really short in lenght not fit for someone who is 170 cms in height (3) Breakfast is very basic
Location, service, helpfulness, friendliness - restaurant serving more locals than tourists (price/quality ratio excellent) local food, well cooked served with love. Not really bad, but round the corner from portoscuso is portovesme, a huge crumbling industrial complex. not pretty, but not visible from the centre of portoscuso and only really disturbing the first time you approach the village - it's a one off 'oh my god' experience which quickly evaporates once you are in the village itself.
Nice view to the marina. It is on the busy streat and it was very noisy during the night. The air condition was not working and it was a choice either close the windows and sleep in a very hot room or bare the noise from the street. Breakfast was very poor too.
