Cavoli is probably the best beach in the island, and is literally one minute walk with the terrace overlooking it. Breakfast was great, as was the setting where it was served
The room was borderline too small for comfort, although the semi-private terrace partly made up for it. Service was in general good but there was a problem that left us fairly disappointed. We were promised a window table for a night we decided to have dinner at the hotel, only to arrive and find out they'd assigned us a table in the middle of the room. Their handling of the situation when we brought it up (specially by the reception desk) wasn't too professional either.
My room had an enormous balcony with nice sea view. The room was clean and the beach of Cavoli is small but really georgeous! At end of september is was quite full, at high season I guess it is super crowded. At night there are not many options for dining, but you reach the next village within 10 to 15 minutes by feet (on the main road - not too nice to walk). From the hotel to the beach you walk about 3 minutes.
Food could have been better, the staff was amazing though
The staff went above and beyond to make us happy. Location was good above Cavoli beach and we had upgraded to a sea view room which had a very nice view ( see below though )
Food for us was underwhelming. Breakfast was just OK and dinners were a disappointment. Be aware not all sea view rooms are created equal, the first one they showed us was very cramped and small. Patios are not very private.
The kindness of most of the waiters !
Room was not a 4 stars hotel room, from very far away. All of them was renovated said the advert, but not ours in fact. Bed was like a camping bed, never slept so bad in a 4 stars hotel, bathroom was dirty with limestone and mold! Finally the concert on Sunday night, very loud, it was impossible to sleep. A REAL SHAME ! BE CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING THIS HOTEL!
