10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location food and service
Cons: Nothing!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The setting is fantastic. What better way to while away a chilly afternoon than by using the spa facilities that overlook the fjord and its breath taking view. The spa facilities are wonderful. A big, spacious area with three pools (including an outdoor heated pooled and a therapy pool) and 3 saunas. While we didn't book any of the treatments the treatment rooms looked well appointed and inviting. As with all Norwegian hotels, the staff were friendly and professional. Excellent food. The three course dinner was a treat, plated beautifully and served with style. The buffet breakfast had a generous choice of top quality items.
Cons: A minor point but the hot water on the complementary beverage station was never hot enough and on two occassions luke warm. Had we asked, I have no doubt the staff would have remedied that instantly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: excellent service and friendly staff. Great Spa and Swimming Area. Nice to relax after visiting Bergen and only 30' from Airport.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: World class hotel

9.3 Excellent

Cons: Only problem is the toilet didn’t flush sometimes and the bathroom is small.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location with an amazing view from room and spa. The best spa I have ever seen in a hotel. Staff very friendly. It is not a cheap hotel, but considering the facilities it is worth every cent. I can't wait to return.
Cons: Absolutely nothing. I have to mention that we were quite lucky with the weather conditions. Enjoying the big garden area was a plus.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: instructions on how to adjust heating
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Maybe, we got lucky but we had a fantastic view of the fjord from our room. Breakfast was very good. The hotel ensures that water and coffee are available after breakfast. The wellness center was also fantastic. The service level was great because employees were very attentive - unusual in Norway. You have to travel about 45 minutes to Bergen and the hotel is a bit more expensive, but it is a slice of heaven for lifelong memories.
Cons: Two nights was too short.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing stay! Fantastic facilities! Staff were so kind and helpful, they took amazing care of us. Perfect stay! Could not recommend this hotel more!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It has been a real pleasure to stay at the Norge. I have been able to check earlier, and had an updated room. The staff was very kind, welcoming and always available. Breakfast was just perfect. Location is very central. I would highly recommend this hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect
Cons: All the mirrors everywhere. I’m 88 years old and don’t appreciate being reminded
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Maybe the best hotel I have ever stayed in, specially if you book a room with lake view.. Great reception employees...
Cons: Nothing..
7.5 Good
Pros: Rooms were lovely and hotel was a fabulous design. Beds extremely comfortably. The internal doors made the room cozy and soundproof. Breakfast was varied, good quality, locally sourced food. Breakfast room was spacious with no queues, and exceptionally helpful and cheerful staff, although hotel was busy. Great location with 10 minute walk from ferry terminal and 5 minutes to railway station
Cons: They did not clean our rooms. After we complained, the rooms were cleaned but no toilet paper left, and a dirty old cloth remained along with a bag of rubbish lying on the floor. We brought this to the attention of reception who apologised but offered us nothing.
5.0 Okay
Cons: AC not cooling as it should be . We left early because of it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and very good location. Lovely toiletries and fantastic view from room over the lake.
Cons: A bit expensive to eat at the cafe but then so is all of Norway.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Only the location
Cons: The reception staff was useless ,, alleyways busy and less staff and not solve the issue for gust,, I had problems issues with TV .. and calling them since I was arrived but unfortunately no any response,, and ++++
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I like location and the hotel interior design
Cons: -
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was great
Cons: They didn’t have computer work area
9.3 Excellent
Pros: good
Cons: There is no hook in the bathroom. There is a sign saying if we want to save water/energy by reusing the towels, dont put them on the floor, but there is no hook to put the towels, and no hook to put the clean clothes to change into after the shower.
Steens Hotel - Bergen - Building
6
8.9 Excellent (694 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Steens Hotel places you in the heart of Bergen, within a 15-minute walk of Grieg Hall and Hurtigruten Terminal. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, with coffee dark enough to match the rich brown woodwork of the dining area. This place is a gem. Historic, well maintained, clean. Circular stairs (you get to walk them) and lovely rooms; ours on the top floor had a stained glass-like ceiling, lovely. Parkland across the street.
Cons: Excellent. Parking was a hassle as the city recently imposed new parking restrictions; we had to park in a city lot about 5 blocks away, after dropping our luggage. Parking is free after 5 pm Sat ands all day Sun.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast spread & room amazing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice place with extremly friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Fridge in the room was broken.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Face to face book in ..staff were very helpful with everything I asked .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: First of all the whole design of the building is wonderful. The view from the rooms is also beautiful and the hotel is situated in a calm and peaceful district.(and you are also like 10 minutes walk from the city center, so it's definitely a plus). We also found loving and cozy the huge breakfast room, which has a romantic feeling, and you can serve not only a delicious breakfast, but also coffee or tee with biscuits all day long. For beer lovers, we can recommend a few sorts from the bar, it is worth the price. All in all, we were totally satisfied and hopefully looking forward to go back soon. :)
Cons: it was everything ok
7.5 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel, the dining room, which was very nice.
Cons: The bathroom which was too small with a hardly fitting shower-corner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. It was such a change to find a traditional hotel with individual furniture rather than a room which looks like it has come straight from an IKEA showroom. You'll have to see the breakfast room to see what I mean. Just stunning. This also provided free tea and coffee throughout the day. A nice touch. We possibly had the best room in the hotel with a balcony over looking a park in a quiet residential district but easily within walking distance of the city centre.
Cons: Could not fault it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unique and old fashion. But not out of date.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a very charming historical building and a great view of a park. I really loved the neighborhood it was in. Tea and coffee was available 24 hours a day and served in a lovely dining area and sitting room. It is a nice stroll to downtown area and sites. Near the university. I didn't have much luggage, so I didn't mind the walk from the train station. It was easy to find. I also was glad that it was a very short walk to the airport bus. The bed was comfortable, the wifi signal was good, the tv had plenty of channels. Liked that it had a small refrigerator. It had no air conditioning but I did like being able to crack a window. I had a very nice view of the park from my window. The staff all were very nice and helpful--the woman pointed out several places on the map to help me get to airport whether I used bus or light rail.
Cons: While I was glad to be able to crack a window to cool the room off while I was there, I was a little concerned about security, so I wasn't comfortable leaving it open while i was gone or sleeping since I was on the bottom floor. I also wished for more light blocking in the curtains--my room had a street light right outside of it that I could see right through the curtains. I also had to be very careful of privacy since my room was very close to the street. The breakfast was adequate but could have used more variety. The room was small, but good enough for just me, but the bathroom was the tiniest I have ever seen and it was unfortunately impossible to take a shower without soaking everything. It could just be the room size I chose, to be fair to the property. I would definitely stay here again, but next time I will be sure to try for a bigger room.
Annehelenes B&B - Bergen - Building
7
8.9 Excellent (174 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice house and very good local breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great host, superb breakfast and excellent location. Good price for Bergen. The separate private bathroom was good.
Cons: The room was tiny, just big enough for the bed and a slim shelf. Not even enough room for two chairs. The bedroom was not lockable and access to the adjacent private bathroom was from outside the bedroom. It's a quirky set-up of borh rooms alone at the bottom of some stairs down from the owner's own rooms.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: The landlady was super friendly, room very cosy, house beautiful in a super nice and calm part of the city. I can only recommend this place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the center, calm area, superbe host
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Ann is very friendly, gives all the information you need when you arrive. The location of the house is very convenient. Nice breakfast. We were happy to eat strawberries, pineapple and melon
Cons: The room is not very big, but when you spend most of your time in town, it doesn’t matter
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very kind owner
6.8 Good
Pros: Anne was very friendly.
Cons: The room was very small
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The artzy Bohemian ambiance will definitely pop up when thinking of our stay in Bergen. Anna has a piano and Grieg music books if you want to tickle some ivory. Her breakfast was an optional extra and we are very glad we partook! She also put on some pleasant "music-to-dine by"---another savored memory for us--- along with her turquoise & chartreuse color scheme throughout her home. She also was very accommodating---allowing us to leave our luggage after check-out time. The area is very quiet at night and we slept well. Her guest bathroom is nice and roomy-- the antithesis if the sleeping area.
Cons: There are NO nearby tram or bus connections, so porting luggage on cobblestone in rain is likely to be experienced and she is located close to the bottom of a steep hill. The room itself is taken up by the large and comfortable bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Anna was a delightful host. She gave us some great ideas on where to have dinner and served us a delicious breakfast. Her house was easy to find thanks to the map she sent us and she is conveniently located not to far from Hurtigruten dock.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a lovely private place, everything we needed was there, comfortable beds, private bathroom, all clean and cozy. Anne gave us good advice about parking, food and attractions, provided a map, and breakfast was not only delicious but served so beautifully! Location is also perfect, close to everything.
Cons: All good

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Zander K Hotel in Bergen (Bergen City Centre), you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Leprosy Museum and Bergen Art Museum. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was good
Cons: It is a big hotel with very much people especially by the breakfast The room is small Too expensive
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very close to train station and light rail station. The breakfast was good.
Cons: Very basic room. The room felt cramped despite sparse furnishings. No coffee maker in the room, but there was free coffee close to the reception area. The room was very hot despite keeping the windows open - hotter inside than even outside due to poor air circulation. The second night we asked the staff for fans and we were provided, which helped some. My understanding is that the hot weather we encountered was unusual for Bergen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was small but very efficient with plenty of room for baggage. The bathroom was well designed. The shower did not overflow, the sink was large and deep enough to wash out a few things and the floor was heated so everything dried quickly. It is 100 meters from the train station and a short walk into the center of town, The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with good variety. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: There are some glitches because it is new (or newly refurbished). The elevators run a little slowly and the door locks have to be checked because they don’t always lock when you leave.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was fine. Breakfast included, staff accomodated my requests to have a jug in my room.
Cons: The e-keycards for room access expired daily, which made it awkward when coming in after a long day, only to have to go all the way down in the elevator to get the cards reactivated.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Modern, clean with a great breakfast with lots of gluten free, lactose free and vegan options for breakfast. Free tea and coffee throughout the day at reception.
Cons: No real negatives, our room had a bad view and it is quite expensive to stay here but I think that’s normal for Norway (sadly!)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, in a quiet street directly opposite the train station and the tram stop from the airport
Cons: Not air conditioned, which for most of the time in Bergen is not a problem, we just happened to be there on a couple of days over 30 degrees
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Best hotel gym I've ever seen, they have a squat rack!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: New and fresh.
Cons: No room safe.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to railway station Breakfast Friendly staff
Cons: Rooms are quite small
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location right next to station. Clean and comfortable room. Good shower. Comprehensive breakfast buffet. Well equipped gym. Strong WiFi signal.
Cons: Weak air conditioning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great gym, great breakfast, great staff
7.5 Good
Cons: cleaning of rooms and bed
Hotel Villa Terminus - Bergen - Building

8.9 Excellent (161 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Villa Terminus in Bergen (Bergen City Centre), you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Leprosy Museum and Bergen Art Museum. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and a library.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We haven't stayed at such a beautiful cozy place. You ll feel just like home. A beautiful verandah infront of the villa. The rooms have a vintage feel which is outstanding and stands apart. The chef makes amazing cheese and omelet - a must try if you visit. Very helpful staff of the terminus hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel annexes, cadre is lovely,
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay here and just wished we could have stayed longer. The facilities are wonderful with a very comfortable room and huge bathroom. Lovely places to sit and relax in the villa to just chill and read a book if you wanted to. Breakfast was excellent and we felt very spoit having the services of a chef just looking after the needs of the few of us staying in the villa to prepare an omelet etc. We would definitely stay here again.
7.5 Good
Pros: Obos bikes very close by Staff in grand terminus very helpful
Cons: Banged head on low ceiling Hard to find it... No front staff as you obtain key from Grand Terminus Steep stairs tricky for heavy suitcases
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It’s a small 18 room property out behind the grand terminus hotel A 250 yr old property recently converted and furnished in mid century Scandinavian Each room is different ,the public areas are more than pleasant ,and breakfast is cooked to your order
Cons: If you have any problem with stairs be sure to book a room on the ground floor-the first floor is accessible only by steep staircases
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant quiet building in a garden setting right across from the railway station and a short walk down to the historic quayside. Great breakfast.
Cons: Totally bizarre room - nowhere to put cases or store anything and totally inadequate lighting (very low wattage bulbs) in an oil-rich country with almost unlimited hydro power. Also booking.com web site fails to mention that you need to check in at the hotel next door - you can't get into the villa without a front door key and the phone number given on the booking confirmation just got us to a voicemail system in Norwegian. Fortunately my resourceful partner said "why don't we try next door" where the clerk confirmed that many guests have the same difficulty. What price a sign on the locked front door?
7.5 Good
Pros: Good breakfasts and chefs friendly and most helpful. Good that tea/coffee, fruit, pastries are available 24 hours to serve oneself
Cons: Arriving on a dark, rainy evening, couldn't find how to get in. Eventually found a staff member to help. Nowhere on information does it tell you to check in and collect keys ftom the Grand Terminus Hotel next door. Clouded the initial impression. Very frustrating. Room cleaning okay, but rarely done until late in day when one needed to be back in room after sightseeing and before heading out again
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quirky, individual rooms. Excellent bar and choice of whisky. Handy location.
Cons: No Aircon. Parking is a 10 min walk to local multi- storey.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location. Facility. Coffee.
Cons: To get into the property need some imagination. Short instruction at the entrance would be very nice. It was cold wandering around out there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was exceptional with the train station across the street. Facilities were of a very high standard, for example, Aesop toiletries. The room was much larger than expected with the extra bonus of a small entry/ anteroom, which included a writing desk, luggage storage and an occasional chair. The common areas were outstanding. Excellent breakfast, which was included in the room rate. Highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: My only issue was with not knowing where to check in - quite confusing, particularly after dragging luggage up cobbled stairs.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast
Cons: Nothing!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast Friendly staff Grand piano in the lobby Comfy bed Excellent shampoo and shower gel
Cons: First this depends on each person,, I didn’t like the fact that windows can’t be opened as there was no AC or fans during summer and it wasn’t hot but I prefer if I can have at least a fan in the room to get a fresh breeze or if I could open the window and let some air go inside! Second , the bathroom wall was kind of semi-transparent glass in some part and that wasn’t comfortable as I’m traveling with family and need to have some privacy in there! These are the only negative points I can see but overall it was Good for my trip!

Pros: Everything was great with the exception of the standard room, which we had reserved. It faced the courtyard, which would have been fine but for the fact that there were large garbage dumpsters out there and scaffolding - quiet unsightly. We upgraded our room at an additional cost and were moved to the street side, which was great.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly in all areas - the access to the hotel from old town was good and walk withon 20 minutes
Cons: The room faced an office block so had to keep the curtains closed all the time - I do not recommend this hotel for leisure!! The office block is so close to the hotel that anyone can see into the room !!! NO PRIVACY
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was terrific. Location excellent. Staff helpful and pleasant. Easy walk into the village.
Cons: Dinner was included in our stay. The second evening it really was not that good. All other food experiences were fine.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location, lobby, staff!
Cons: Bed— need bigger; Dinner— need a second hot option
7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast buffet was great. The shower water pressure was great. The bed was very comfortable! The tv was a great size. Most of the staff was friendly.
Cons: There should have been separate lights for the WC and sink area. Slanted ceiling made the room feel smaller. There was no room service to order food or order movies.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the afternoon waffles and light dinner - we weren't able to have breakfast due to an early flight.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super helpful staff, great location, lovely decor
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable. Location was great! Breakfast was basic but good. They have an observation deck that you can go up to work a key card from reception. You have a great view of the city and water from the roof.
Cons: The "on site parking" was across the street, up against another building. While the car ended up being fine, it was a bit sketchy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location close to the Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf area. Extremely friendly welcome at check in. The room was fine for a single traveller like myself; I did find the mattress and pillows too soft for my liking but slept well enough. Definitely take advantage of the view from the tower; it was a lovely addition to the stay. The evening buffet was delicious and had more choice than I was expecting. Breakfast had a large selection of the usual hotel buffet fare; I did like their smoothies; the fruit selection and variety of breads on offer.
Cons: Unfortunately the waffle making machine was broken so the afternoon tea offerings did not meet my expectations (I had really wanted the waffles!!), There was some apple cake and hot drinks available but I was disappointed not to try the waffles.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and services; breakfast, afternoon snack and light dinner included, Great value.

Pros: The hotel was really nice - better than we were expecting. Location was pretty good in relation to the harbour - near shops and restaurants. Breakfast was really good. Facilities in the room were great.
Cons: I don't think there was anything!
7.0 Good
Pros: Location is fantastic - short walk from the light rail station and to the harbour
Cons: Check in at 3pm (or later if room isn’t ready) really isn’t convenient especially if you are on an overnight stay. I also found the hotel generally quite dark which is probably part of the overall design but made it hard to see!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Most everything!
Cons: Noisy at night if you have a room in the front of the hotel

Pros: Location, cool room, good bathroom
Cons: Reception should be manned at all times. Room small/loft, hit my head several times. Had to wait 10 min for lift, one lift only! Too few tables for breakfast, poor cleaning. Staff does not speak a word Norwegian!

4.3 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was really good! The hotels location is excellent, couldn't be better!
Cons: The rooms were as warm as the temprature outside and the rooms held the outside temperature throughout the night. Very poor airconditioning. We got very little sleep the first two nights and moved to a new romm with airconditioner the 3rd night which was much better. The bathroom floor heater was on full when we arrived, this was most probably due to all the floor drains not functioning. The bath could not be drained, the shower did not drain and the wash basin also had problems draining. We reported this to the administration and that we considered sleeping on the floor due to the heat in the bedroom. The answer we received was that yes, this could be a solution in summer some times.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good central location to all tourist sites and the centre of town. Great breakfast buffet. (don't get there to late though) Lovely sitting areas. Great bar on site.
Cons: The room was very clean and tidy. Due to the age of the construction of the building, the room we had, was half taken up with the sloping ceiling, 4th floor. Not sure how other rooms are.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. I had a filet mignon in the restaurant and it was cooked perfectly. Some of the staff was nice. Some a bit lazy.
Cons: It’s a little shabby and dreary. The carpeting should be replaced. I was expecting a traditional old style Norwegian experience but it looked a bit depressing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Disappointed for the cost. Room very dark and there was a noisy fan outside my bedroom window. Should have complained and ask to move rooms
Cons: Dreary and too dark (well the room I got) Breakfast was good
5.8 Okay
Cons: The room was tiny and dark. The table- lamp did not work. I payed more than for a 5 star hotel om the Oslo city center
7.5 Good
Pros: People at the desk were super helpful all the time. Room was extremely cosy and comfortable.
Cons: It had transparent windows wherein our room could be seen by people from a nearby restaurant. We could cover them with blinds but then the light in the room wasn't enough. There was a heatwave and the hotel doesn't have cooling but they gave us a room with a AC so we were extremely comfortable. But there are only 4 such rooms. Breakfast options for vegetarians are very limited. No Double Bed was a bummer again. Also the bathroom had a very beautiful bathtub. But not sure how many travellers actually use it. I found it to be a waste of space. And one more thing this is not about the hotel but about the city. Bergen Card is a total scam thingy if you are there for only 2-3 days. Avoid it. Beautiful city. Enjoy it on foot.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is as central as it gets, and the building itself is steeped in history. The old wooden beams and constructions are a testament to its heritage with the Hanseatic League. The room itself was surprisingly modern, and the bathroom's tub was very luxurious. I appreciated that the scrambled eggs at breakfast were made from *real* fresh eggs (so many hotels opt for reconstituted eggs these days, which to me are soupy and inedible).
6.8 Good
Pros: The rustic style and design was very beautiful. The location is superb and very practical in the heart of the city.
Cons: We were given a room that did not correspond to the pictures displayed on booking for that particular category, we complained and they kindly gave us an upgrade. That was nice of them but still, imagine if they're hadn't been any alternatives, it's very wrong to give ppl false information pertaining to the rooms they want to book. The upgraded room was alright except for it being next door to the kitchen which meant we had unwanted smells during most of our stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Interior, staff and location
Cons: TV chanels very limited Pillows are bad

Pros: Great location, the fish market, waterfront and shops are all very close Staff were friendly and a well finished room
Cons: Rooms were a little small
6.3 Good
Pros: Location was good and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was also good.
Cons: We were on the 5th floor and the corridors and room were very stuffy and warm. We were given a portable cooler which helped a little but there are only a few coolers so perhaps request ahead if the forecast is for warm weather. I would suggest the hotel provide bath mats and also tissues in the bathroom to make guest stay a little nicer.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, wonderful breakfast served until 11:00....could be early lunch :)
Cons: It was hot so we wanted to sleep with the windows open - there is a historic area/park next door and a busy main street a block down that is quite loud with revelers and car traffic so windows needed to be closed which solved the problem.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location. Good breakfast.
Cons: Rooms small and warm with no air conditioning. Low quality fittings. Dated interior.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect and the breakfast very good (almost like having breakfast in a 5 stars hotel). We also appreciate the fact that though we arrived 5 hours earlier from the check in time, our room was ready and that was really convenient for us. Very comfortable beds and the rooms were very good equipped.
Cons: The space in our room wasn't enough, even if it was very good equipped and nothing was missing, we wished to have some more space.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super location, just 1. Minute from Bryggen Wharf area. Super friendly helpful staff. Inclusion of Breakfast And delicious light, healthy evening meal was a great added bonus. Really comfy bed. Coffee and fresh fruit available in the very pleasant lounge - a really nice touch to come back to after exploring the delights of Bergen. This is not the Hilton but such great value - if you are wanting ultra modern and evening menu options, then this is not for you. It would be one of the best places we have stayed in over many years of travelling.
Cons: ???........
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location only a few minutes walk to everywhere. Friendly & efficient check-in. The best gluten free breakfast options I have ever seen. The supper that was included was great. Loved my stay here .
Cons: My single room was the smallest room I've ever been in. Hardly even room for my suitcase. More than one night would have been unbearable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet superb
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and supper meals, included.
Cons: Our room was very small, hardly enough room to walk around the bed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service by entire staff. Breakfast was amazing. Hugh selection of choices. Night meal was adequate. Beds were very comfortable. Security was excellent. Location was perfect for historic waterfront. Very quiet.
Cons: It turned very hot the days we were there so we had to have windows open. They did have big windows to open and gave us fans. The rooms were not air conditioned. Apparently most hotels in this area of Norway do not have air.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast provided by the hotel was excellent in terms of quality and variety. The "light" evening meal included was a nice compliment after feasting during lunch at the Fish Market. The location was very close to center of the city and harbor area, with everything in walking distance, including the bus to and from the airport. Also, the hotel was one street away from the main street which limited the evening noise. Our highest praise goes to the staff and their excellent service, particularly the manager, Martin. Martin handled all of our requests for directions and recommendations for dining and services with the highest level of courtesy, professionalism and friendliness. Martin added to our enjoyment of the hotel and our visit to Bergen. I recommend this hotel as a high-value option for a stay in Bergen.
Cons: The "King" room during our first stay had appropriate size, however the "Queen" room on our second stay was too small and cramped for two people.

Cons: The hotel might need some renovation. The room (and also the common area) is ok , but the equipment is getting pretty old. The mattress is too soft for my taste (but I slept very well, nevertheless, I must confess). Some more seating capacity in the breakfast hall would be good.
