Great resort! Rooms are beautiful. Food is great. Lots of activities available. I would totally go back here again.
Pros. This resort is massive with beautiful ground and kind staff. Room was huge, comfortable bed and was always cleaned
Cons. Check in process was very inconvenient and frustrating. Even though checkin time was 3pm we couldnt do check in till 4 pm. As a compensation, my group received free hydrotherapy which was nice. The next day, i had to change the room because finest didnt reserve two rooms next to each other even though i reserved two rooms. I was told that the room will be ready by 2pm but it wasnt ready till 4 pm again! I wasted a lot of time the first 2 days. They seriously need to improve their check in process, besides this, i loved my stay here.
Pros. Everything was excellent. They went above and beyond. Food was great for a different country, room service excellent. Don't order scrambled eggs(they must use premix or something but omlettes and fried eggs good). Water sports nice, rooms are clean and luxurious . Amenities in room exceptional. had toothbrushes, toothpaste, irons, robes, shampoos, soaps, etc.... Please remember to tip even though a tip is included in your room price. They make very little daily; like $4-6 a day and tips help. We paid $5-10 per meal, $1-2 round of drinks, housekeeper $20 for entire stay, bellmen $1 per bag.
Cons. The air condition works but any time you open any door it shuts off. So, if you are in and out during the day; your room will be cool but not as to what you think will be the best comfort you expect. When you wake in am you will be cold, but during day; not so much.. Keep doors sealed and shut .
Pros. Since your arrival to your departure, you are treated like royalty. Everything is top quality, everyone in the world should experience cancun in finest.
Pros. I liked the location, the safety, the beautiful buildings, and grounds. Many choices for foods, including healthy choices too. Favorite restaurants were the tapas restaurant, and the main buffet. Drinks were great, lots of fresh squeezed juices and of course specialty cocktails. The coffee and ice cream shop was fun. Service was good overall and room service was quick too. The staff at the front desk was very nice. We saved money by getting a regular room and not a rooftop suite or swim up suite and it was plenty nice. Service was always good, tip was "included" but I always tip when it was outstanding which was most of the time.
Cons. The Jacuzzi tub in your room can overflow very easily if you fill it too high...beware. They don't serve red bull or any energy drinks on the property. Some restaurants were closed, due to private parties, so you don't always get as many choices as you expect. They ran out of towels in the beach/pool area. Most restaurants are closed between 4-6pm. Dress code in the different restaurants and no reservations allowed is a pain. There was quite a bit of seaweed on the sand due to a lot of wind. There are way too many light switches in the room, it can take 10 minutes just to figure out how to turn them all off at the end of the night.
