After searching for an affordable place to spend the night in the Youngstown, New Springfield OH area, I decided to give the Davis Motel a chance. My first impression was that the place was very old, so I was getting ready to be disappointed. Instead, I found that despite my first impression the room was in excellent condition. Very clean and no funny smells or anything that could've made even the pickiest guest complain. The AC runs well, the internet is free and fast, and the bed is firm and the sheets were clean. Also, it was very quiet. For the price, it is excellent. The staff was very friendly too. The location is certainly best suited as a trucker's stop. The driveways need to be repaired (lots of potholes). I would only add that it is not the fanciest nor flashiest building (it shows its years), but it is certainly much better than the exterior suggests. Oh, and perhaps you need to consider that there is a free adult channel on the TV. If that doesn't bother you, well, I really recommend you give this place a try.
Service and friendliness were excellent. Rooms very clean and fresh. Only double beds. Good value for the price. Close to Fast food, fuel. Easy to get to. Close to Interstate. Everything was fine!
Clean, comfortable, friendly management, and efficient. Room included a desk with lamp, and alarm clock with outlets, plenty of outlets, good lighting, wall mounted TV with cable spliter I believe to separate porn from the rest of the channels. A nice compact refrigerator and a microwave on a good sized table. The free Wifi worked well for video streaming. A little concerned about the nearby nightclubs and security as we were quartered in a seprate building away from the main building.
Room was clean, no ammenities but everything worked as it should. For the price I would have expected a small shampoo and conditioner.
Front desk was easy to find and check in was super simple. Plenty of parking. Room and bathroom were clean. Beds were moderately comfortable, nothing fancy. Clean sheets. Check out was also very easy, simple and fast. The ladies at the front desk were very polite and helpful.
Great price. Fun funky designed rooms. Great location. Beds weren't very comfortable.
Great location. Friendly staff. Modern rooms. No shampoo or conditioner. Scratchy, small towels. Room was non-smoking and smelled like smoke.
That it had a smoking room Yes,I did not like or appreciate the fact that it was across the road from a topless, adult video establishment. I was uncomfortable knowing it was there when my young daughter and myself had to stay there for 2 nights. Had I have known, i wouldn't have
The price was right for an overnight stay. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel needs some upgrades but the worse was the smell of our non-smoking room. In fact, the entire hotel smelled of smoke.
We loved that we had a room at the front of the hotel away from other guests. The room was clean and spacious for 2. We didn't like that there was no mention of the hotel being a truck stop hotel. We had to circle around three times to find it. Also the a/c unit was dated and kept the room uncomfortably cold.

The room was clean, comfortable, functional and newly renovated. The breakfast room was clean, quiet and well-stocked, and the TV was set to the Weather Channel instead of FOX News. The hotel is located at the end of the street between a truck stop and a trucking maintenance yard. Signs in the lobby saying 'continental breakfast' (meaning coffee/juice and danish) instead of what you really get: a full complimentary breakfast.
Very nice room. People were great!
Cheap, decent bed. Ac worked well, lady I talked to was nice The stains on the wall, the broken shower rod, the Internet was so slow I couldn't even connect which was the most upsetting part because I needed it for work. Which I almost feel is false advertisement, if I can't even hold the connection then you don't have Internet. Faucet was also broken
