Pros: Very clean and staff very helpful and accomodating
Would not stay there again
Cons: Room was dirty. Old towels left in the bathroom, old coffee filters in the coffee pot.....left a lot to be desired!
Cons: The hotel did apply my work discounts on the rates and thus I was charged much more than I should have been. No refunds have been made from Priceline nor the hotel. Not satisfied
Excellent location, neat & clean and hospitable staff.
Pros: good rooms
This is the place to stay! We loved everything about this Hotel. Awesome staff! The whole place was spotless!
Pros: Our stay with them was awesome! The entire place was spotless. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Jackie at the front desk was a doll!
Great hotel! I booked the handicapped hotel for my grandmother and she said she had plenty of bars to hang onto in the bathroom to take a shower. She said if she wanted to even take a bath, she knew there were enough bars that would pull her up. The hotel was quiet and the staff were very friendly.
Pros: The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet
Cons: Construction going on, but that didn't really bother me

Pros: The employees at the Hampton at Montage Mountain couldn't have been nicer to us. All very pleasant and helpful, from letting my husband keep his bicycle in a safe place to giving us directions to Scranton the following morning.
Cons: My ONLY complaint is minor. The website booking described our room as having a view of the mountains -- only true if you leaned into the window and looked left past the car port directly in front of us.
Pros: Free breakfast was good.
Pros: Room was clean and staff was pleasant
Pros: Ease of location to highway.
Cons: Area looked old and tired.
Pros: With a family of five the included breakfast is a great plus.
Cons: Nothing. We weren't there long enough.
Pros: We spent one night during a extended car trip, it was easily accessible from the highway. Felt it was a good value for the money.
Cons: Feather pillows on the bed, my two asthmatic children cannot have them. I guess to others they are considered a luxury, to us they are a hazard.
Pros: Jacuzzi room we stayed in & the morning breakfast offerings were excellent.
Cons: Would have liked fresh strawberries & more blueberries for the fresh waffles. Also, needed a backup box of tissue in our bathroom. Thanks for asking.
Pros: The sheets and pillows were fabulous. The price was fantastic. The breakfast was healthy and good.
Pros: The breakfast is always good. The beds were comfortable, etc.
Pros: Location. Value. Breakfast.
Cons: Comforter too heavy. Would like the option of a lighter blanket.

Pros: The staff was excellent. .. Very friendly and ready to assist you in any manner to make your stay more pleasant.
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: The greatest breakfast I have ever had.
Pros: Staff was very friendly -room was nice -dining room nice with free breakfast
Cons: Bathroom was small- hard to open and close the door without hitting you. Could have used bar inside the tub to hold on to while washing feet.
Pros: Ease of location, cleanliness, courteous staff, great selection of breakfast items.
Pros: Since 2007, I have always booked this hotel, always booked and prepaid and never disapointed until this time! The hotel has been updated and the rooms are beautifully decorated.
Cons: A pet friendly king size bed room was booked and paid for 6 weeks prior with a late arrival with no scents nor feathers. When I arrived there was none available, the clerk not friendly and we were given 2 queens in a scented room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: The arcade was nice, once we found it on our own. Noone told us at the desk that it was there. To bad about half of the games were out of order. There was a table for a game of cards though.
Cons: There is nothing around it but a diner and a gas station. They should have a restaurant/bar.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs!
Would not recommend
Cons: The room smelled moldt and damp. No elevator and has a second floor room
We were very pleased with our stay and will stay there again!
Pros: It's located in a beautiful area, right off the exit and had a large parking area. The staff was extremely professional and pleasant. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was yummy.
We got a phone call from the front desk a while after check in just asking if everything was ok and if we were happy with the room. What a nice touch!
Pros: Very clean. It almost appeared new
Cons: No. It was a pleasant stay
Pros: Easy to find from the highway and low cost
Cons: Electrical problems--multiple outlets not working for electricity--and no maintenance to fix it
Great Priceline Offering.
Pros: Very nice commuter hotel. Clean room. Great breakfast. On/off highway. Nice staff. Great price. Bed was comfortable and firm. And were very nice about having our dog. Great place. For a 2** it was among the best I have ever stayed at.
Cons: Nothing but the fact that there were some very loud people that woke us up at 3AM who were partying in a room on the next floor up. It was the weekend and it happens. No big deal.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, quiet, good breakfast, friendly staff and great price. I've stayed at this Microtel numerous times over the last few years, and it's always been excellent. The owner of the hotel works there, and you can tell he is truly invested in a quality product for his customers.
Pros: We were in town for an event taking place at the Raddison in Scranton. The Raddison was a little over our budget. We were very happy with the accommodations at the Microtel and it was very easy to get to from the highway. The staff was friendly and the space was clean. Great option for what we needed.
Pros: Location was half way point of journey. Easy to get off highway. Quick check in and checkout. Great affordable choice
Pros: Very clean and easy to reach from I81 in Scranton, Pa. Nice finishing hardware in the room and bathroom. Size wise OK for a short stay. Staff was very courteous and helpful when we requested an additional pillow. Bed was as comfortable as higher-priced hotels I've stayed in. Not a bad value.
Cons: Rooms are a bit small. Room to move around but that is it. Overflow parking on the backside of the hotel, not well lit, but close access to the side entrance. Finding the entrance off exit 190 was a bit of a challenge. Seems like these economy hotels are in a good location, except for their 'secret' entrance. No fridge in our room. I presume none of the others had one either. Got by with the ice machine and our small cooler for meds that need refrigerated. Had a straight-back wooden chair with an upholstered seat. No other seating. We've stayed in hotels with larger rooms for the same or slightly lower price.

Pros: The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, with enough space for a family
Pros: Hot tub, breakfast

Cleaning of room not great with sink left dirty
Cons: $15 for glass of wine
Wifi not working
Pros: Rooms were beautiful and smelled so nice!!! I'd definitely come back!
Pros: Staff was beyond excellent as the were extremely helpful and freindly.
The hotel provide a taxi to pick me up at the airport at 2am.
Pros: The room was clean, amenities more than fine for what I was staying for (just one night to crash after an event in Scranton), and looks like it would be a nice place to stay for a longer visit too. The in room coffee maker and fridge were great additions, and the Noon check-out time is nice for a late-riser like myself – even 11:00 can be a little early sometimes. And kudos to the front desk employee who helped change my night when I was checking in – I accidentally booked the wrong night online and didn't realize until I was in the lobby but he switched it no problem and with no additional fees!
Cons: Signage, the hotel is tucked up a driveway completely hidden from view from the road and the only sign they have is about the size of a Dunkin' Doughnuts drive-thru sign, on a dark road no less. There's a bigger sign once you get on the driveway obscured by trees but you can't see it from the road at all and I drove right by it the first time. They need a bigger and better lit sign so the driveway's easier to pick out, especially since there's two other Marriott brand hotels a stone's throw away up the road.

Pros: Love the old train station re-purposing. It's really a well kept and well run hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.
Pros: While we enjoyed the uniqueness of the train station turned hotel, we were impressed by the staff. From the desk clerks right down to the bartender, EVERYONE made us feel at home and bent over backwards to take care of our needs. Though I could use anyone as an example, I was particularly struck by the friendliness and professionalism of one of your longtime lady bartenders (whose name escapes me). I came quite late. Though she was probably thinking she would get out early, she bent over backwards to find out what I wanted. A few other regulars came in and she made a point of introducing us in the most engaging an appropriate way I have ever experienced in a Pennsylvania Hotel. I can see why this lady has been retained for 30 years and I only regret that I've forgotten her name as she deserves to be properly appreciated.
Cons: Not being able to get a receipt because I booked via Kayak with a service that you don't access directly.
Pros: The building was historic and located in a convienient area.
Cons: We booked with booking.com and the hotel had no record of our reservation. We found the prior persons dental floss in our room on the floor next to the bed. The worst part was hearing the music from the bar Kildares from across the street all night long...
Pros: Beautiful structure in a great location
Pros: I have been making an annual trip to Scranton, Pa for the last 15 years. I always stay at the Radisson Lakawanna. The lobby decor has been preserved ( beautiful marble, mosaics, and stained glass). The rooms have recently been redecorated - or are in the process. This is a welcome improvement.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
We love dining at Carmen's ( in the hotel). Good food at a reasonable price.
Pros: The refurbishment of the grand train station into a hotel is nearing completion and they have kept much of the details of the main station lobby. It feels grand, though I question some of their design choices (neon bright spot lights?)
Cons: The heating systems were off and on, including bouts of cold and hot water in the showers. The food at the grill and their main restaurant was Okay, but nothing to get excited about.
Pros: The hotel is in a historic train station. Wonderful restoration.
Cons: I arrived early, so the room was not ready. Okay, I was told I would get a call on my mobile phone when a room was ready. That call never came. As the normal check-in time approach, I returned to the hotel to find that my room had been ready but that no one had found the time to call me.
Pros: The rooms were very large, beds very comfortable. The hotel lobby was very elegant and the old train terminal atmosphere was very cool.
Cons: The bathroom was renovated with a stone vanity and very nice tile, but they used a very crappy tub surround.

Pros: Clean facility with friendly staff. Breakfast a bonus but not great.
Cons: Excessive contractor work vehicles and trailers clogged parking lot.
Pros: Clean option with efficient staff and good breakfast.

Pros: Staff was great. Also loved that the indoor pool was open until late.
Pros: The distance it was from the location I needed to be at the next day.
Cons: When I arrived at the hotel, the staff stared at me for a good minute before someone came over to help. No one offered to help me with my luggage, but I was told to go down the hall for a luggage cart. The rooms were dirty and needed renovating.
Pros: Location - close to shopping and restaurants. Rooms were large, beds comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly.
Pros: The staff was polite and courteous.
Pros: Close by where we needed to be and a spacious room
Pros: Very nice and spacious room. Even for one night it seemed nice to have some extra room.
Cons: I liked everything.
Pros: The rooms were very clean, the microwave in the room had Out of Order taped to it, other than that it was excellent. Pools was nice too. Location was easy on/off highway.
Pros: location, Cleanliness, Staff
Cons: I had 2 major issues and 1 minor issue that I presented to management/front desk when I checked out. Terrible bed needed replacement. Shower rod needed repair or replacement. refrigerator needed repair.
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. The room was super spacious I would definitely stay again.
Cons: The microwave was broken and they were renovating but that was not a deal breaker for me because we only stayed one night.
my room was on the end on the 3rd floor and the hotel sign was bright white shining into the room, even with the shades closed. Rooms are dated and old. bed was lumpy. Great shower though.
Cons: the rooms are dated and old. not as clean as i expected for this brand.
My room had a gas fireplace. Excellent surprise. Also the free breakfast was way above average.
Pros: Cleanest hotel I've been

Pros: The staff at the front desk was insisting that I had not paid for the room yet, even though I had. It wasn't until I started getting upset that another staff person came over to show her that I had already paid for the room ahead of time. If this other more experienced person did not come over, she would have made me pay twice for the room. Plus the toilet was dirty. And timer lights kept turning on and off in the room which was annoying. No ice machine on any floor, you have to go to the lobby to get ice. Otherwise it was fine.
Pros: This hotel was relatively close to Montage Mountain, but far enough away that we were able to stay for an affordable price for a weekend. The breakfast was great and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Pros: For the good, first would be the beds and pillows. They were very comfortable and I slept well each night. The room was neat and clean. The public parts of the hotel were well kept and inviting. The location of the hotel was decent, only about a mile from downtown. It's an easy ride to downtown as well.
I read several negative reviews of the on site restaurant. Although I only had breakfast there, I would disagree with those reviews. The breakfast menu pretty standard for the north. The food was prepared well. The service was quick, without feeling rushed. Our server was pleasant and engaging. And I felt that the pricing was comparable to what you would at an off site diner. Definitely not gouging.
Cons: There were only a few minor quibbles I had with the hotel. The walls were pretty thin. There was family with children in the next room. I knew this because I could hear the children well into the evening. It didn't bother me or keep me up, but I was aware of it. In fact, they may have had the worse if it as I am a snorer. Secondly, though clean and functional, the bathroom looked as if it could use a refresh. And lastly, the hot tub could have been a bit warmer.
As I said, these were minor quibbles. Overall, I was pleased with my stay at the hotel.
Pros: Nice clean room. I had a very comfortable stay.
Cons: The hotel walls are quite thin. Could hear a good bit of hall noise.
Pros: Rooms were clean, I give amenities a 9
Cons: Not enough restaurants/shopping in the area. No fault to the hotel but, we had to drive abt 15 mins away to an area with a mall and restaurants.
Cons: I was told my room was not available when I went to check in at 11pm.
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Housekeeping did not check my room on the second day; SPG would not credit points for my stay due to having booked it through a Kayak.
Pros: Room was kept clean.
King bed was comfortable.
Desk staff were very nice in general, and great about extending my stay another night without an upcharge.
Good workout room.
Conveniently located near I-81.
Cons: Lacks fridge or microwave access.
One only elevator was operating, which had been the case for nearly a month. They're expecting the issue to be resolved by July '15.
Pros: We thought that the remodeling that had been done was very nice and up to date. It had a relaxed modern feel to it.

Pros: The hotel is really just a hotel. If you are passing through and need to spend the night this is the place. The price is inexpensive and the hotel staff are very friendly. They first put us in a smoking room and we couldn't breath (I'm a non smoker) I went to the front desk and they immediately placed us in a non-smoking room. Hotel is right off the 81 and near all the main shops and whatnot. Decently priced for a quick stay overnight. I cannot confirm as we were only put in two different rooms but it seems like there is a fridge and microwave in each room. Hotel is very clean.
Cons: The bathrooms in the lobby could use an update to the 21st Century. However the bathrooms in the rooms were nice.
Pros: Hotel was close to major highways and fairly inexpensive.
Cons: Hotel is in need of some updates. Mold was visible in the bathroom, clearly had been painted over. In order to access the pool you need to take a staircase from the second floor, very inconvenient when you're traveling with small children. The pool area is very outdated and dirty. The breakfast choices are very limited, in the area in which you eat is very cramped.
Pros: I had a nonsmoking room and didn't notice any smell that other reviewers have commeted on. The lobby is nice looking with tea and coffee set up all day. My room was good size and it was clean.
Cons: What needs work is the breakfast. They took two hotel rooms and made them into the "hospitality suite." The free breakfast was well stocked, but disappointing. They only had bagels, boxed cereal, make-your-own waffles and bagged danishes in a very small and cramped room. I would've like to have seen something with protein, but I guess they did the best with what space they had. Also the seating area was very tight as well. It felt like you were on top of the other guests and if they had a good size family, well good luck with having a quiet breakfast.
My second complaint is while the staff was friendly, they were all dressed very casual, as if they were wearing their street clothes. They didn't look like hotel employees.

Pros: We loved the pool, sauna, and heart shaped tub in our room. The resort offers a lot to do at no charge which was great. The room was very private and quiet.
Cons: this is a no-frills romantic resort- they do not include anything like bubble bath or a log for the fireplace (since they say you cant use a real log). I was upset that they told me check in time was 3, then when we got there it was not ready. they said they would call me when the room was ready but did not. only when i went to the desk to check was the room ready. I felt for the price of the hotel, the decor was lacking a lot.
Pros: lot of activities to do and the comforts in the room where nice.
Cons: Bring your own adult movies, food and liquor as this is not free and very pricey. Also, the room we were in could've used some repair as sofa's had cig burns and the pool tiles where poorly repaired.
