Overview
Omni Mount Washington Resort is a landmark resort that opened in 1902 and is designated as a National Historic Landmark. It features Spanish Renaissance-style architecture and it is located in Bretton Woods, which is a 464-acre ski area. Guests enjoy views of Mount Washington and the close proximity to the White Mountain range. It is also a member of Historic Hotels in America.
Omni Mount Washington Resort had a $60 million renovation completed in 2010. The addition added a 25,000-square-foot spa, a wraparound veranda, renovated main dining room, and a 20,000-square-foot conference center.
It has amenities like a tennis court, shuttle services, free Wi-Fi, nine zip lines, an 18-hole Donald Ross-designed golf course as well as the hotel's original nine-hole golf course, and resort activities like fishing, horseback riding, sleigh rides, and hiking. The outdoor terrace has a fireplace, a sun deck, and a garden.
There are 200 luxury rooms and suites. Rooms are decorated with nature photos by artist Ansil Olsen and are designed with a residential theme by Beaty and Brown of Richmond, VA. Renovations included the addition of a three-bedroom family suite, which is ideal for families with children. Rooms include room service, free parking, and the option for upgrades.
Guests can enjoy eating in the two Four Diamond restaurants. The Cave is a Prohibition-era speakeasy with stonewalls and live entertainment while the farm-to-table Stickney's Steak and Chop Pub has selections from Boston's Savenor's Butcher and Market. Guests can also enjoy mountain views and a drink at the Rosebrook Bar.
Omni Mount Washington Resort is a piece of history in an idyllic location. It is a ski destination during the winter as well as a relaxing getaway for families any time of year.
