The hotel is located in a colonial casona that dates back to the 17th century and which is part of a set of four houses comprising walls and gates of equal height that apparently were the property of the Count of Pestagua. The hotel is situated on Calle Santo Domingo and is right in the heart of Cartagena's historical centre. This boutique hotel is known for the unrivalled standards of its 17th century colonial architecture. The colonial architecture of the Spanish houses from this epoch has been preserved until today. The hotel offers guests a garden in which they can relax in true holiday fashion. Visitors are welcomed in the lobby with its 24-hour reception and 24-hour check-out service. A hotel safe is available for the storage of valuables, and food and drink is served in the bar and restaurant. Guests can stay connected thanks to the wireless Internet access. There is also a meeting room available and a TV lounge. Room service is offered until 10 pm, and laundry and concierge services are also provided. The en suite rooms comprise a shower, double bed and a telephone. Entertainment comes in the form of the room's satellite/cable TV, radio and Internet access. A safe is provided, as is a minibar and fridge. Individually regulated air conditioning features as standard and guests can relax on their room's balcony or terrace. Guests can take a dip in the swimming pool, or relax with a massage or spa treatment.
