We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this hotel.
The comfort and cleanliness. Easy to find, well indicated. No
The hotel surroundings are nice, and the rooms tastefully decorated Food was pretty poor in comparison to other hotels in Italy. Also, felt a little like was on a conveyor belt system, polite though the staff were, we still were ushered in and out of the dining room as quickly as they could move us.
The hotel is located between Sirmione en Lazise (and Bardolino en Garda). We used it, because it had everything and was cheap in comparison to other hotels, to get around and didn't stay much at the hotel itself. It's a themepark hotel so you should not be afraid of kids. The room was good. Big enough, good bathroom with everything in it. Airconditioning, widescreen tv, fridge, was all availabele. Even internet via a cable in the room for 3,- per 24h The window in the room was too high up which made the room look a bit unfriendly.
Nothing special The service at the restaurant
kids entertainments it's a fairy place for kids and calm for adults it's far for the city and close to gardalandpark
Very clean, well organised, staff were friendly, nice surroundings Very expensive for what you get. Buffet breakfast was ok, plenty of food etc but quality probably not the highest standard.
The bed was so poor that it was almost hilarious to try to sleep on it, get serious if you want to keep your customers!
The Gardaland Hotel Resort is a nice hotel for family vacations. A little bit pricey but very clean and comfort...
Friendly staff, good quality services restrictions on parking in the complex
Great staff very helpful considering we were a group of 6 bikers staying.
The place is great and centrally located
All the swimming pools was closed (without any reason). The final cleaning was 30 Eur, the booking price not included it, and it was unknown untill we arrived to the aparman, after check in.
G The rooms where not clean enough especially the floor and furniture, the mattress had most of the springs that could be counted!!! We booked because we thought it was good value for money but than we had to pay for towels, linen and cleaning!!!!!
The place is very new and well looked after. Rooms are big, airy and have good sized windows providing ample light Had to pay for: Cleaning (at end of trip), Sheets and Towels. I feel they should incorporate these into the price as they are hidden expnses. Also hotel does not accept any form of credit cards
Good curtins and comfortalbe matress.
Very nice hotel. It's more like 5 star when you're in your room.
It was extremely clean, modern, spacious. I would definitely stay there again. Front reception spoke perfect English also. Free shuttle to airport was also a bonus that I did not expect. No. it was a breath of fresh air!
An ideal airport hotel at the Verona airport. Normally airport hotels provide early breakfast for the early-birds leaving the hotel really early, this one does not.
Close to airport. Free shuttle to/from airport & Verona center.Friendly and helpful staff in reception. Very good restaurant too although a bit pricy. Breakfast ok. Only a minor thing. You can only access Internet with a cable. No Wifi available in bedrooms.
very central and modern
modern facilities and indoor pool
dining room was not up to the rest of the facilities standard
english speaking staff, bed linnens, convenient to airport, Price
location is perfect. very close to airport and have the shuttle service.staff are friendly. it will be good if the toilet kits have more things such as body lotion..but this is not a big thing. overall i am happy with my stay and i will choose this hotel again.
We like it very much. It is located in a quiet area ideal for families. Many activities for childen, swimming pools, playing areas. The staff was very helpful.
When we arrived, we were pleasantly suprised by gifts from management. There are quite many sport activities in the hotel. Animation program is good. Staff was polite, but cold and without single smile.
spacious rooms, good swimming pool Breakfast was not with good quality or fresh products (boiled and scrambled eggs were cold, coffee taste...cake not fresh
Good hotel for that price If I wouldn't have navigacion I wouldn't find it.
The rooms were clean and good for a family stay. I would recommend this place to others The staff where unfriendly, asking them for some information was close to impossible and breakfast needs to be upgraded.
It's a fantastic hotel , really amazing, clean and worth for money. this hotel is a grea hotel to stay especially with family...............it was really good and looking forward to come again. Location perfect, Meals excellent and great shows from the annimators as well. Thanks Amanda Azzopardi, Malta
We were to pay 574 according to booking but we got the bill which was 150 euos over the bill. We feel mislead. Your form should ask for age of child upon arrrival and calculate according to that so customer know what they expect to pay and can decide accordingly as it was very inconvenient for customer There was communication problem. We missed flight & phoned we could not make it.But if they can change our booking we will take flight following day they said it is alright. But they added no show later to the bill laterThey told us that your family cancelled to visit while they said they were on their way to visit us.Internet not working told will not have to pay but were charged bill
very clean, good food, excellent animacion, good size of pool....-that was a super holiday in this hotel for our family! It is simply impossible in the first trace to find the hotel! Map give no informacion how to drive in.We spend 2 hours searching!!!
I would struggle to say anything positive. Staff unhelpful, not even approaching you at the desk just sitting there and mumbling. Outdoor pool advertised, asked staff what time it opened, told 9am, go to pool to find no water in it. Told about restaurants and grill bar being open until midnight, go for something to eat at 2130 to be told restaurant not open until May, this is April. The only other restaurant in the hotel closed at 2000 hours. Told to walk to golf hotel for dinner, closed at 2200 hours and staff most unhelpful as if I was a burden. Tried to use the gym, told opened at 9am. Brekfast finishes at 10 am, if this is a sports & leisure, complex why open the gym that late, people like to use gymnasiums then eat, this timing issue prevented that happening. V poor experience.
Breakfast. Quality of beverage (coffie and any other drink far below a 4 star hotel standard)
huge rooms, excellent pool and great location. nothing on the TV was watchable for the kids, nor us.
The closeness to Gardaland amusement park Quite expensive.
The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was great. Rooms were large and comfortable for a family of four. There were numerous problems with the airconditioning in the room. As it was summer, the room was very hot, especially during the night. Also, for a non-city hotel, the 25 euro per person charge for the buffet dinner was exorbitant. As the main reason for staying at this hotel was its proximity to Gardaland Theme Park was a bit disappointed that the road to the theme park was a gravel dirt road which was a good 15 minute walk. The walk on the main road was shorter, but of course extremely dangerous.
Great hotel at a great location !
Double rooms are big and include also Sofa. Breakfast was really good for both adults and children. Location is vey good, close to Gardaland and Movieland.
Proximity to local attractions; especially the theme and water parks. Although limited in terms of equipment, the children's club activities and enthusiastic / attentive staff made up for the shortcomings. Lack of storage (cupboard / wardrobe) space in the room. No onsite gym/spa facilities
Very nice (new) hotel with a excellent Spa facillity
New and clean room, relaxing spa. Although there are no restaurants nearby (please note this hotel is middle of nowhere), but there is a reasonably priced restaurant in the hotel. We enjoyed staying in this hotel very much.
Relaxing atmosphere, great facilities. Loved the spa area. My husband became a spa believer! The outside was not very appealing, but it is newly opened and will surely improve. The location was a bit surprising at first being a few kms from town, but was ok and quiet.
Very clean modern spa facility and indoor pool. Good buffet breakfast. Quiet. The outdoor relaxing area and pool (not a genuine swimming pool) is overlooked by every room of the hotel and therefore feels very uncosy.
Hotel spa in general, personal, services, free internet access, food, Hammam and sauna didn't work the first 2 days so facilities were not efficient
Suite (and every room) is romantic, bathroom is big with shower very confortable, pool is nice with space out for summer, many couples outdoor, view around is not beautiful
cleanliness of my room was perfect'
Calm, quiet atmosphere, friendly staff with ability to speak English.Top class facilities in the spa and wellness certre.Very convenient to Lazise, waterpark and other activites. No
New place, good breakfast and nice location near by Lazise old town. Only wiered Internet, I couldn't use my iPad or iPhone for Internet.
The hotel is new, clean, with modern facilities. Breakfasts are good meanwhile the supper (one was quite enough for us) is overvalued as quality/price ratio. Internet service is perfect, both public or using personal pc. Spa facilities are almost perfect. The supper (one was quite enough for us) is overvalued as quality/price ratio. Important suggestion: it's quite difficult to find hotel in dark time of the day, no visible signs on motor roads at all.The hotel is not in Lazise town, it's on way from Lazise to cola'. Strada delle Greghe is out from Lazise town.
room, breakfast, bed
very modern hotel great design locate 20 min from verona and 20 min from garda. the stuff was nice the breakfeast is good. the hotel was a little bit empty in october, nothing to do around the hotel.
It is a beautiful property, amazing decor, quiet, with a good central location 15 minutes drive from Verona or Garda. One of the most modern and interesting places I've stayed anywhere. This was a real find... LOVED this place!
Very modern hotel, very good breakfast, nice staff very vgood value for the money
The breakfast buffet, free parking, nice and clean rooms The location wasn't that great, it is a strange place for a hotel. There also was nothing to do in the hotel.
friendly staff, good food. Rooms a good size with great facilities none
The location, views and golf facility No
The Gof Hotel was a great place to relax, enjoy good food and take in the views. Room service could have been better.
location close to Gardaland, cleanliness Very small room. We booked 4 bed room, we got double bed with two (uncomfortable) auxiliary beds. Very basic buffet breakfast.
the staff speaks english and is very kind and professional, the room and bathroom is clean and the beds are comfortable no
overall pleasant satelite tv it is not what it says
Free Internet. Large Family room. Good location, close to Gardaland and the highway (if you want to dine by the lake (lasize, bardolino, Garda).
Convenient since it is located very close to Gardaland park. Very easy to reach since it is on main road. Ample parking space. Very clean
Very centrally located Breakfast not up to standard. Since we were a group of four, we were cramped in a double room. Air condition did not function well.
The hotel is very close to Gardaland. The breakfast was OK. The location was in a ran down part of town. We were disappointed by this because the reviews were really good. The sauna was 10 euros to use. I have never been charged to use a sauna. The room was tiny. If you washed your face at the bathroom sink, your back end hit the shower. The description is misleading.
We stayed at Camping del Garda with my mom during 7-12 May and had wonderful time there. The campsite is actually overlooking the Lake Garda. The Lake itself is really beautiful - there are many small towns on it worth visiting. We made a trip around the lake by ship - took it to Malcesine and back (20.40 Eur return per 1 adult)and it was really nice. At Malcesine there is a funiculer which takes you to the highest mountain where you can overlook the Lake (14 Eur). The Peschiera del Garda town, where the campsite is, is really nice as well and worth visiting. The campsite is also 15 min walk from the Peschiera railway station which is really handy. There are also few supermarkets around (we visited 2 so far) - Migros and Penny. Peny is really cheap one. They both are off Monte Baldo street and about 7-10 minutes walk from the campsite. There are also 2 restourants at the camp, we tried just one - Garda, where we had lovely risotto with sea products - with all the shells and huge king prawn on top :) The bungalow that we stayed at (Pini site)was lovely - clean and comfy. You have fridge, plates, cutlery, teapot, saucepans there. Also duvets and pillows. You can rent the bed linen as well for 9 Eur per change. You will need to bring your own toilet paper, soaps, cleaning stuff and towels though. Alternatively, you can buy all this at the nearest supermarket. We also had the small travelling iron with us, although there is a laundry on the site. The temperature inside it can be regulated by the airconditioning, which we used to make us warm at the night :) There is also a small safe in the room which you can use for free (at least when you stay with Active hotels). The pull was just few metres from our bungalow, but wasn't working since it opens from 11 of May. The second pull on the other sde was open, but it wasn't too hot to swim a the beginning of May. The weather was aroung 15-20 degrees, quite few raines, but we got to catch a bit of sun and had few hours of sunbath at our bungalow terrace (which is beautiful with chairs, table and low chairs provided). There is also an option to take train to Venice (1.50 h and 7.90 Eur single) or Verona (15 min and 2.35 Eur). Trains Regionale are the cheapest. btw don't forget to validate your train tickets at the yellow boxes otherwise they are not valid. The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided us with all the information we needed including printed maps and timetables. They do speak English, German and I think Dutch in additon to Italian. The people in the Town mostly don't speak English (except young students and shoolchildren), so it's worth to prepare some general phrases in Italian for yourself in a case of buying smth at railway station or if you need some help from them. The weather in May is not that hot, so if you want a lot of sunbath and swimming go in the Summer
Cheap, good location, well organised, staff spoke excellent english. if your staying in a tent your packed in very tightly wih other people
great location.nice, tidy apartments. The kitchen is well equipped. The restaurant on the site is really great.
Silence, greenery, nice and helpful stuff, perfect lokation for the attractions. We didn't like the brick bungalow / apartment/.It was very old and dark, but we told to the reception and they were very polite and gave us mobile home which was perfect.
Very good for families with small children and for access to Lake Garda
Very cheap in October and quiet, easy to get to near by supermarket and town to catch buses and trains around the lake Need to bring your own toilet paper, rooms a bit like prison cells, the camp sites pretty much closed down in October (no supermarket, restaurant or swimming pools)
Campsite itself was reasonable and in a nice location by lake and town. Staff were helpful. Good bar and a big screen for the World Cup! "Apartment" accomodation was dreadful - small, old and dated. AirCon, fridge and stove were useless. Bunk bed had broken edge and missing rung on ladder. Kids club was poor compared to French experience last year. Pool slides were disappointing.
Modern setting near the lake. Modern nice, clean and spacious rooms. Good accommodations like up-to-date fitness, sauna, nice in- and out-door swimming pools. Spacious indoor parking. Wireless internet is missing. But other free internet via TV is available.
The location and facilities, particularly the pool areas and gardens were simply beautiful.
The location is superb, one of the best area's on Lake Garda. The hotel is one of the best modern hotels I have stayed in. Food, staff, facilities and rooms were top class.
The breakfast was the best we had during our entire italy trip... The hotel was new and the suite we stayed in had a great view of the pool and the lake.. The hotel was very conveniently located and definitely one of the best around those we saw...
The hotel was new and very up to date, the rooms were large and we had a lake view , some do not,the spa was excellent and the whole hotel is very relaxing. The location is excellent The evening experience was limited , the Bar area was not being used at all until later and even then it was spasmodic. It was very quiet in the evening
nice terasse and garden with pool close to the high way and therefore a bit noisy; couldn't open the window in the hotel room
Had most of the basic needs covered; and they have free shuttle service to downtown Verona. Misleading information about internet availability. Food quality at the restaurant can be better.
Nice hotel, nice staff Breakfast is not included in the hotel price
Hotel is good.
I liked the spa/relax spot even if I was not able to use it because their hours did not coincide with mine. The staff was very helpful.
The staff were very helpful and the pool facilities were great! The food in the restaurant was very average. There were no tea and coffee making facilities (other than going to the cafe).
Convenient and free shuttle to airport.
Easily accesible from the airport and highway. Close to city center by car. Shuttle to fair.
The staff was helpfull and nice. The shuttle buss to the city was very convenient.
Comfortable hotel. Convenient location. Fine swimming pool. Good restaurant, nice dining on the terrace. Swimming pool closes far too early.
