10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are light, airy and VERY clean!! I loved breakfast on the porch in the mornings. This is a great splurge for people who may be budget traveling for an extended time (like me), as it was only about $55/night but provided much needed privacy and comfort. Wifi was super fast as well!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful place surrounded by a garden to enjoy the breakfast in. Casa Azul is in walking distance to the main bus stop when you come from David (only 5 min walk) and to the place to book attractions. I enjoyed very much staying here and could have easily extended :) Thank you also for the help on the last day, when the shuttle was suddenly cancelled..
Cons: Nothing to complain about. I would stay again

Pros: Very friendly and helpful hosts with great knowledge of the area and delicious breakfast. The location is cosy and comfortable with a wonderful garden to enjoy as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property has a small town atmosphere but was really comfortable, clean and beautiful. It had all needed commodities and very close to restaurants.
Cons: Wooden house, everybody can hear you when you walk. Not really a big issue. There was only one table to eat outside. Only an issue because the garden is beautiful and you really want to have breakfast outside when the weather is nice.
10.0 Excellent

Awesome coffee, tasty eggs, fresh fruits and juice. All you need for a great start in your day. The house is a old wooden house and they put a lot of love in it to make it very comfortable.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location at the riverside and on the way to Sendero los quetzales, original tasty breakfasts and a nice veranda with glass walls where the breakfast is served, living-room with a fireplace, very helpful staff.
Cons: The hot water not always hot enough, the room chilly at night as no heating and windows not well insulated, not enough light in the room. Also, the fact that the dog kept at the property was chained.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Belle is an excellent hostess who knows exactly how to give information and advice. Her breakfasts are wonderful, and her hospitality is unmatched. Clean, comfortable, gorgeous gardens, and very conveniently located for hiking and outdoor activities. I will absolutely be back!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner Bell and her assistant Dimas are fantastic. The inn is small, very intimate and it is almost like being with a good family. The entire inn is incredibly clean, tastefully decorated and cozy. There are a variety of rooms to choose from, including family cabins. There is a shared sitting room and large kitchen to cook in that has a big fridge to store your food and well supplied, just ask Bell for what you need. Heaters are avaiable to rent if needed and if you need to use the gas stove to cook there is a small charge. The bed and breakfast is set in a small lovely garden with great access to attractions around the area. I would recommend a stay here. There is a different breakfast each day and they are all very good.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner/manager was awesome and very accommodating to us. Very friendly and wanting to make sure our stay was great. The property is wonderful from the inside out. It is located along a great stream and the gardens are lovely. Super breakfasts. Great B and B.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is awesome, excellent value, home away from home! The beds are really comfy and come with a light, shelf, socket and private curtains. The free coffee is good. The backyard is a cute little place to chill. The whole space is cozy and the living room + Netflix was inviting during rainy days. Because it’s a small place you do get to know the other guests; it felt more like a house share than a hostel which was really nice :)
Cons: There is only one bathroom shared between everyone but other than that nothing. Would stay again
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly solution. Nice kitchen and with all staff that you need
Cons: Only one bathroom for to much people. Nobody wash it in 3 days
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Staff (Arturo and Jas) were polite and very helpful! My wife and I, definitely recommend it!
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was our first place after 4 weeks with decent Wifi. The location is great and although we stayed only for 1 short night, the atmosphere is great. Clean, nice kitchen, garden and living room. Free coffee, tea and cookies.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was really nice and the atmosphere as well. Every day they cleaned the shared rooms. We could totally recommend it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is an amazing host with lot of atention to her guests. She makes everything possible to make you feel home. Even though it is a small place it is very pleasant. I really appreciated that each bed is equipped with a curtain, a small locker, a little shelf, some electric outlets and a light. Very nice to have to have this opportunity to hide himself with comfort.
Cons: Only one bathroom for 8 people.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: location, backyard, curtains on the bed. There is a pool table.
Cons: The room is too jammed packed thee was literally no place to walk on the floor because of everybody else’s backpacks. Kitchen is small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Once you step in, you're part of the little hostel family. Yas was super kind when she received me. The dorm room is small, but with the curtains around the beds you feel almost to yourself. Good bathroom with hot (very hot) shower. You can use the fully equipped kitchen. I especially liked that they have sport water bottles for when you go hiking and don't need to buy a plastic bottle. Serve yourself tea and coffee as you please. The living room with netflix feels very cozy for the evenings. The backyard invites to take in the morning coffee. Internet worked throughout. Super conveniently located to the bus stop and restaurants.
Cons: There is nothing not to like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: -the staff -the atmosphere -the facilities
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything! The hosts are enormously friendly. The kitchen is fully equipped and functional. The small garden is most enjoyable too with its hammocks, tables and chairs, and a wonderful view over the flora and mountains. Of course the location is another plus and the giant TV equipped with netflix and a console offers an alternatative to the views, or is great if socialisation doesn't occur ^_^ It really feels like home!
Cons: The doorm is slightly undersized, but the beds and mats are very comfortable and have everything you need, including a curtain.
Hacienda Los Molinos Boutique Hotel - Boquete - Building

5.5 Okay
Pros: The setting next to a ravine with mountains in the backdrop was lovely. Breakfast was good and the pools just outside the dining room were wonderful to dip your feet in and enjoy the scenery
Cons: The information listed on my booking confirmation didn't initially work when I saw my accommodation. The info provided by Booking .com listed a full kitchen but I was led to just a standard room adjacent to the villa I wound up staying in. The front desk fixed this with relative ease, which I appreciated. But, here's what was missing in this comfortable and spacious villa...basically all kitchen items necessary for such a stay. No strainer or collendar, dish towels, starter coffee for the coffee maker (and coffee is the featured product in this region) pots and pans finally located in the oven, counter chairs sit extremely high off the counter and one has to crouch to eat over the counter, no hot pads, no screen in the patio doors. Watch your step to the patio and into the shower as it's recessed more than one would think.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good service. Decent breakfast. Safe surroundings.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and the view is amazing (15 minute to downtown), pool and hamacs.
Cons: Far away rooms from the center (where the pool and restaurant are), and single villas too close together (you hear your neighbors).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Villa was beautiful and clean. Lots of room and A/C worked great. Pool was also clean and had excellent view of the canyon. Same with the restaurant.
Cons: There was no jacuzzi/hot tub as advertised. There was a small, round pool attached to the bigger pool, but was the same temperature as the bigger pool. No hot water. Luke warm showers. There could have been a few more utensils and cookware in the kitchen as well, but we made do. Villa was about a mile from the main house. Good thing we had a car. Outdoor porch had no table to put drinks on. We had to improvise.
5.8 Okay
Pros: this is not a boutique hotel but a large property, misleading information!
Cons: lonely feeling
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good visit. Great food. Nice people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10.0 Excellent

Cons: More variety in the menu

Pros: Excellent view, comfort and interior

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The grounds of this delightful inn are comparable to a botanical garden. Every morning, while enjoying a delicious and freshly prepared hot breakfast, we got to watch all kinds and colors of birds come to eat the fruit put out for them. The accommodations were more than adequate, with every amenity in the rooms: comfortable beds, kitchen with all dishes and appliances necessary, good hot shower and spacious bathroom. Staff was helpful and accommodating, assisting with directions and with setting up a marvelous tour of Cafe Ruiz coffee farm. The location was close enough to town center to be central without being in the middle of all the traffic. We had a wonderful experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful 3 days at the Boquete Garden inn, simple clean rooms on a delightful grounds with abundant flowering plants and trees and birds of every type on the property! You could spend each morning just watching the birdlife and stunning colors. Beautifully set up as a boutique hotel type property. The manager Adel could not have been more helpful, anything and everything you need he was there. From setting up your 3 days and side trips, to restaurants, calling cabs, doing laundry, special breakfast, he was so hard working and helpful, thank you for a beautiful memorable time!
Cons: Sometimes it was harder to find a readily available cab....but even then the manager Adel was outstanding - on call either in person or by phone to arrange one quickly for you, and it was $5 or less to go in to town one way
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden units, wonderful tropical birds, and a tasty relaxing breakfast each morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect! Good restaurants in the area who you can reach by foot. We gelt very welcome!
Cons: Breakfast should start at 7.00 in stead of 8.00.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Laura, the host was kind and very helpfull. The garden was a peaceful retreat and the room was super clean. In the past I was a host myself who tried to be the best I could be so I think I'm a good judge in rating this lodging as "super". The only regret I have is that I only stayed one night so I couldn't enjoy the garden as much.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely and the property was very pleasant
Cons: Extraordinarily loud music in the town on Saturday night carried up to the property. The roosters in the area are annoying.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: This was a lovely, historic hotel set in attractive gardens. The room was huge with French windows on to a private patio. The restaurant was excellent; not much more expensive than local restaurants. Breakfast was served at the table (not a buffet) and there was a wide choice, well presented. It was a short walk to the town's facilities
Cons: Service was a little slow.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Rooms are well nice, spacious and overall nicely designed. Gardens are very well maintained. Late check out was available.
Cons: Staff is a failure - completely inattentive, no service attitude at all: served different wine than ordered (multiple times, when asked: “the other one is not available”), breakfast service is poor even there are rarely guests, no spa area although they advertise spa & massage prominently on their webpage... I could go on with multiple more examples. This is not a member with “Small luxury hotels” anymore but still advertise online...

Pros: Randy was really helpful and made sure his guests were comfortable. The grounds on his estate are beautiful. We had friends out for a visit and we sat on the veranda ovelooking the valley. Pros: The service is second to none, the accommodations were clean and the view is amazing!! Imagine waking up at your leisure, having a breakfast of your choosing brought into the room while fresh coffee from the estate is brewing. Then grab a hammock from your room and walk down to the overlook spot to enjoy the view. Getting to and from town was also easy with transportation included. The list of great things go on. Do yourself a favor and grab one of the three villas available if you can! Thanks to Randy for the awesome time!

He is also happy to drive guests to/from town or to other areas of interest, and give very valuable insight (we saw the Quetzal!). We would love to return.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a good option if you are looking a place to cook, bbq and enjoy with friends family meeting
Cons: If you are looking a quiet place check if there are no young people because is a quiet zone, so everything can be heard, and in our case we had to deal with a complainer client (she was complaining about noise since 4pm which has no logic) but that made our stay and hers annoying.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very enjoyable stay. Comfortable living room sitting area and bed. Nice size bathroom. Location is a little tricky to find when turning off the main road, could use a sign or two to help guide but would not deter me from returning. Quiet neighborhood which I really enjoyed, no dogs barking at night. I highly recommend and will probably stay here again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most beautiful place I have ever seen
Cons: food
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect as we were attending an event there. The riverside cottage was lovely as we could get away from the crowds when we chose to. It had it's own parking spot and was very private. The cottage has a small refridgerator in the room and small bar/kitchen area (no cooking). It also had a large shower and bath with good water pressure. We have been to Valley Escondido before and love the area..its very beautiful. I would definately stay again.
Cons: we missed seeing locals at this event, but I guess they don't listen much to Blues and Jazz! Will return for the flower festival next year instead as we really enjoy the Panamanian people, and know they will be there! (:
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The location and the setting is beautiful.
Cons: PLEASE AVOID IT ON WEEKENDS. The property hosts often weddings in the hotel and to us they really need to choose and decide which business they seek. The music of the wedding was so loud that it was impossible to sleep until 1:30am. I have never experienced anything like this. I called several time the reception, they agreed with me, but indicated that they could not do anything. In addition, in our case the covered and blocked any use of the indoor pool for two days because of the arrangements. Going to the countryside and having such a bad experience was unimaginable for us.
6.8 Good
Pros: the property is beautiful
Cons: we could not use the indoor pool
9.3 Excellent
Pros: location, good services, attention from all people from the hotel
Cons: my room was not good clean,my parents room had a problem with the cable.
7.0 Good
Pros: staff was helfull The beauty of the grounds and surrounding area were unsurpassed.
Cons: went for rest. Kids all over the place from toddlers to teens yelling screaming running everywhere even in restaurant and bar area. restaurant was poor. Buffet was bad. Menu choices limited and not very good. Coffee not readily available other than restaurant and they ran out.
6.3 Good
Cons: YOU NEED RENOVATION THERE WAS AINTS ON THE BED AND THE SHOWER VERY OLD BATHTUB
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is beautiful and the grounds are lovely. We stayed there while attending the Boquete Jazz & Blues Festival which was primarily held in the fabulous amphitheater at the resort. The included buffet breakfast was nice.
Cons: The food service for dinner was extremely slow. The massage I had at the resort was not that great for the price. Would have appreciated having a coffee maker, fridge and microwave in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent!
Cons: There was a wedding and they changed the place for breakfast and other meals and the place where it was located was far from our room, and the food was not as good there, a very common buffet breakfast

Pros: We loved this hostel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the communal dinners which provided a great chance to chat with others. The room was clean, comfortable and had the best shower so far on our travels. The castle is a 25mins walk outside of the town but it was worth it for the stunning views of the valley. We didnt want for anything.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel feels very homey and relaxed. The people are very kind. The location is perfect, you can get to all the hiking spots very easily or if you want to do a tour the manager can book it for you from the hostel. The manager Adam is very kind and generous, cutting some sugarcanes for you or taking the time to give you advice about what the best hiking trail is. I really enjoyed this hostel and would recommend it to everyone, 10/10!

Pros: Beautiful house with a big garden. The kitchen has every necessery equipment. You can cook with a great view. There is even a gas grill. Very clean. 9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean hostel, kitchen has full equipment and there are good places to sit and chill. Adam was very nice and helpful, thanks
Cons: A bit outside the centrum, but you can take a bus for 60 ct that brings you there in 5 minutes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and peaceful location outside of town with clean air, good facilities, and a great view on Volcán Barú. The place looks very much like an alpine resort from Europe. The staff was very friendly and helpful in finding my way around and suggesting things to do in the area. The hostel is small and cozy with just 4 rooms for 2 persons each. If you are lucky, you will get your own room, which is a very good deal for the price.
Cons: The power often went away for brief periods of time during rain, but this is not the hostel's fault. There are quite some mosquitos around so one needs to make sure to protect him/herself.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Adam was a great host, the house is very confortable and you will easy feel at home! You can also enjoy a nice garden with hammocks + they take bitcoin for payment!

Pros: I felt at home and not in a hotel! Dean and Carol are great hosts: they booked tours and transfers and went out of their way to help me when I needed medical help. Casa Alegria has a beautiful garden to relax and is still very close to the town centre and just a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants. It is perfect for a stay in Boquete without a rental car. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast is excellent.

Pros: Carol and Dean are gracious hosts who take pride in their property and it shows! The grounds are lush and lovely. My room was charming, super clean and homey. I loved sitting on my patio with a cold cerveza. Carol is a gifted cook who makes a delicious breakfast. Her banana cake with coconut and caramel was divine, so was the breakfast burrito. The location is perfect for strolling into the town square and many restaurants. I was very happy at Casa Alegria and would stay there again.

Pros: Excellent service and food. The tours are amazing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Stayed three days. Went on tea tour; absolutely outstanding. Guide, Ricardo was truly exceptional. Setting with birds and rushing stream at night a real plus for us. Peaceful. Food was excellent as was the staff; a few needed better English or there should be someone they can refer. Definitely would stay again.
Cons: Limited electrical outlets. Limited hot water for showers your signage (name: TreeTrek) almost was enough of a turn off that we almost chose NOT to book a reservation. Overall, we had a great experience.... the the location is very remote.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here 2 nites with another family in 2 of the family cottages - we had the best time! You wake up and are right there, ready to go, no buses/ driving etc - great restaurant on site. Accomodations are rustic cabins, 2 twin beds up in a loft for the kids, super comfortable king bed below for the adults. We had Caturra and Arabica which are connected - sat outside at night w/ our friends and some wine, view of the stars and mountains, absolutely magical - most visitors leave by 4pm so you can enjoy the sounds of the rainforest/ have most of the place to yourselves - spent hours in front of the lodge fireplace w/ our friends. restaurant great and of course, the Canopy Zipline, Coffee Tasting and Hanging Bridges Tours were absolutely spectacular - staff are the best, all of the tour staff very professional, informative and safety oriented. The day we did the canopy zipline tour was absolutely pouring down rain but it was still one of the most exciting adventure activities we've ever done - don't let the weather put you off, it is still safe/ you will have fun!!!
Cons: Was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and beautiful surroundings. It was a really fantastic location and the staff were exceptional. A big thank you to our wait staff gentleman (Efrain - I probably misspelled it as I had trouble with the pronunciation as well). We would definitely return. Thank you

Pros: Beautiful location up in the mountains. With the zip lines, hanging bridges and coffee tours this place is perfect for adventure seekers. The staff are hugely knowledgeable and the manager in particular goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is the best it can be. Food does the job but can always venture out to the town to for a bite to eat and get the shuttle back if you want a bit more variety.

Pros: The host, Marcelo, was one of the nicest people we’ve ever met! His million megawatt smile made us feel very welcome. He was very knowledgeable and helped us set up our activities. The hotel grounds are just beautiful, with many colorful flowers. We enjoyed thestunning view from the hot tub including a rainbow and many hummingbirds! The breakfast was good and the outdoor dining very relaxing . The area is just beautiful and we enjoyed the zip lining and white water raft thing. The town has great restaurants and friendly people.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location! Listening to the river all day was priceless. Very nice jacuzzi and pool...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property is gorgeous. The flowers and grounds are extremely well manicured. The pool / hot tub is adjacent to the river which makes it very enjoyable. Our accommodations were incredibly spacious. It was great. Breakfast was really fantastic, the 1st place in Panama to actually serve real sausage and not hot dogs called sausage. Great way to start your morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful pool and we especially loved the jacuzzi with an amazing view after a hike. Breakfast was delicious and staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and good hot shower. And I don't think we ever had such a great view during a workout in the gym :). There was even a sauna by the way!
Cons: Breakfast starts at 8 AM which is a bit late with a small child.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds. Location made it easy to access restaurants and tours. Marcel is a great host who helps ensure guests have whatever they need.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was wonderful! Great and clean hotel! Polite personal!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Place located just 5 minutes from central Boquete going up into Palo Alto. Wonderful staff and atmosphere. Nice view of the river, excellent to have a pool and Jacuzzi for when you get back from going around all day. Full Breakfast was included in our rate and it was very good and cooked daily and fresh. They also have a bar where you can buy drinks (or you can bring your own) and enjoy your time. We rented the Family Suite which was perfect, spacious, and included a full kitchen with Fridge, stove, coffee, etc. Definitely recommended!
Cons: We rented the Family suite which had a lot of space downstairs but just FYI the upstairs loft is spacious but due to the low inclined ceiling we found it not so convenient for adults or our bigger teenager kid.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: room was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great - fresh fruit, fresh coffee, fresh omelette - perfect start. Location is awesome - next to a cascading mountain stream with great views of Vulcan Baru.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Most lovely staff, very helpful and kind. Amazing garden, beautiful flowers, pool with a view and outside jacuzzi. Good breakfast buffet with pancakes, eggs, fruits.
Cons: Roosters screaming early in the morning, but that’s not the fault of the hotel. :D You need a car to get to Boquete Town, but the hotel provides some friendly drivers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Inn at Palo Alto was spectacular! The views are incredible, location was amazomh with close access to town. Marcello and his staff made this experience unforgettable! So accommodating, helpful and genuine. There is nothing more they could’ve done to make this a better experience.
