We enjoyed the central location and the privacy that the hotel afforded. The staff were very helpful and it was quiet at night.
Good, cheap accommodation for a quiet break in summer/autumn. Surrounded by nice mountain views and friendly pubs and restaurants (so different from Paris!)
The beds were quite hard, and although the room had a nice kitchenette there wasn't any basic supplied like dishwashing liquid or coffee sachets (but easily fixed by a trip to the supermarket)
The attendant very kindly allowed us to check into the hotel before 16:00. The hotel was quiet and close to the downtown core.
Hotels guests are not generally permitted to book in before 16:00h - a great inconvenience. The room was very dirty. There was no dishdetergent nor any dishclothes or dishtowels with which to clean dishes. The dishes were dirty. Hotel users are not likely to bring these items with them, and these should be provided.
Availability of fridge and kitchenette in the room, good price, locked stroage for bicycles.
Location a bit far from the station without a car, although a bus stop was available just outside the door,
Ideally located close to Chateau de Chambery, Kyriad Chambery Centre - Hotel et Residence provides comfortable accommodation with complimentary wireless internet. It is also minutes from Chambery's popular attractions and landmarks.
The hotel has 149 rooms and has been recently refurbished. There is also private parking on site for those travelling with a car.
The hotel's rooms are spacious and feature a kitchenette that is equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. Each comes with free tea and coffee making facilities as well as a private bathroom. A flat-screen TV, an in-room dining area and heating can also be found in each.
Chambery-Savoie Airport is around a 15-minute drive from Kyriad Chambery Centre - Hotel et Residence and Chambery-Challes-les-Eaux Railway Station is within walking distance. There are a range of shopping, dining and nightlife options close by, and Lake Bourget and Lake Aiguebelette are a brief car ride away.
