When we booked our room I saw a few bad reviews, however, wanted to give a chance as I really loved all pictures I saw. You can find some negative reviews regarding food, or staff - none of that was correct. Afterwards we met a local guy who told us that they changed the owner recently, hence I guess all bad reviews are related to the past. As well, there are some comments regarding furniture, old rooms, etc. - guys, you are booking a room in an old Italian villa, there is just no need to ask for moder and new stuff because it would kill the romance they are offering, that is really their strenght over there! Pool area is perfect, children are wellcome. We were there with our 4 month baby boy, and noone looked bad at us, as they do in some places. We asked 100 times for boiled water (to prepare the baby food) and whoever we asked immediately jumped to help with a smile!! Gardens are incredibly beutiful, as well as lighting during the night. They pay attention to details and even if you need something you need that is not there, don't bother to ask, they will serve you as a lord! Rather ask and enjoy while you there (because they will offer help) than remember a negative part and without even asking for support, run here writing nonsence reviews like old rooms. Also, we ordered coffee at the pool just a bit before closing (8 pm).. the pool guy was so gentle and flexible that he told us to enjoy our evening near the pool as long as we want, just to notify the reception once we leave, so they can close the gate. All in all, could not extract one favorit thing, as everything was perfect.
All was perfect!
Very cozy Villa with great dinner.
Breakfast could have been international
The location and the setting is outstanding. Very relaxing and a perfect setting. We enjoyed in particular the huge park
The service at the restaurant has plenty of potential to improve ;-)
Very nice Venetian Villa with a big garden including some old trees and outside pool. Even if there were 3 weddings there during our stay we were not disturbed at all. Cosy rooms with old-style furniture. Breakfast including only sweets and fruits (italian style) and a good coffee. Good experience, different from a Hotel. We enjoyed it.
The breakfast including only sweets is not my type.. Some of the doors could be changed / reconditioned as thez make noise when closing.
Comfortable bed; excellent breakfast; helpful staff; beautiful surroundings; the service and the food at the restaurant are excellent; wifi is good
We couldn't get any channels on the tv except SKY which was pay per view. It wasn't a big deal but it would be nice to have just a few standard channels. There should be more information about hotel's facilities in the wellcome pack in each room. We didn't have any but, having said that, the receptionist was very helpful.
