The Manager was a very friendly lady and we were given a complimentary ride in their van to station to catch the Tranzalpine. The price was reasonable. Big spacious unit. We booked a one bedroom and were given a 2 bedroom! It was great. Handy location for our business. The manager made our visit, she was extremely helpful and obliging. We found it very comfortable for the 2 nights we stayed. Had everything we needed. Room was comfortable and well serviced. Accommodating staff. Really loved our stay and would 100% be going back again. This is a fantastic place to stay. The beds are comfortable, the facilities are clean and the staff were very helpful. It is central to lots of places. This was an excellent stay right from when we arrived to a lovely warm room as staff had turned the heater on. Perfect location and friendly, helpful staff. Room was great. Real milk (x2) and lots of hot chocolates. Locking bathroom door and extra toilet paper, big soft towels and a dark blue face cloth. Shower pressure was awesome and a great extraction fan and a window which kept the decent sized mirror fog free and no condensation. Comfy bed with a choice of soft and firm pillows and plugs on both sides. It's the little things that really count and this place ticked all the boxes. Definitely stay here again...thank you. Just so close to Addington races the reason we stayed here. Great stay. Had a bit of hiccup but fast response. The staff are outstanding. Everyone was helpful. Rooms had great shower and Netflix was a huge bonus. The beds were super comfy and rooms as well as outside was very clean. Very helpful.

Holes in the curtains and drapes. Shower over the bath. Unfortunately the Queen bed was uncomfortable and lumpy. We were offered transportation to the train station at the end of our trip. Unfortunately, they did not remember that they had offered it to us, We ended up having to arrange for transportation ourselves at the very last minute as otherwise we would’ve missed our train. So be warned. Apart from that, we had no other problems. Bathroom was a bit outdated but still does the job so not a big deal. Pillows quite hard. Showers were cold the morning we checked out. 1 A lounge pillow was smelly. 2 The bathroom curtain was dirty yellow, needed washing. Manager was awesome, couldn't help enough, nothing was a problem. She made the stay exceptionally good. The Motel is old, and bathroom tiles need a better clean. The shower curtain was dirty on the bottom. Loose door handles. Windows and bathrooms needed better cleaning. Little touches missing. For example side lamp & TV weren't plugged in. Cobwebs a little too obvious. It was at a noisy intersection. However, closing the windows did help considerably in reducing the road noise. Main bed mattress sunken.. Should be looked into. Still can't work out the two taps where the hot and cold water do not meet. Outdated. No particular issues - a plunger for coffee would have been a bonus. N/A. Some noise from main road. Very dirty! Bathroom floor was full of hair and an old used soap in a corner. Towels had stains. We are Elderly and not having a place to cook other than a microwave. There were pots and a pan in the cupboards but no hob. Coffee and milk not enough wasn’t replenished on next day we use 2 packets used per cup not nice coffee at all, couldn’t understand why there was pots and pans however no oven or cook top to use them, noisy even when windows and doors shut tightly. Room was not set up when we arrived, asked for two beds. A bit run down. There weren't any net curtains on the externally facing door and window so I had to keep the drape curtains pulled for a degree of privacy. Nothing. Unit out dated, wasn't very clean and a problem with ants inside. A bit tired, but that is reflected in the price. Shower curtain was a bit gross. Should be replaced by a glass door. It was a bit loud at night when trucks drive pass the main road. The motel is very dated but clean. Hard to open fridge door because it only just fitted in the space and the rubber on the bottom of the door dragged across the floor so fridge door only opened part way. The curtain covered the window but there was no curtain or blind to cover the glass front door but luckily our room was at the end so nobody walked past. the rooms are very dated and sad, the curtains have mould on the backs of them and some not hooked up. Definitely needs a refresh. Requested for room not to be made up, return to unit later in day to find that people had entered twice. Upstairs people were quite noisy. Upon leaving I realized I forgot something and asked to get key back and was made to feel this was a huge inconvenience. When we booked we asked for a ground floor unit and got one upstairs instead. Not having a blind over kitchen window so at night the street light shone in and lit the room up. The traffic noise was bad. The room was not sound proof. We heard the neighbour's every time they went in and out of the room next door and downstairs during the night. Doors slamming etc. No soap in the bathroom. Shampoo dispensers were empty. No face towel. Second day was better, everything was stocked up. N/A. Nothing really. Being so close to main road but motel can't control that. The noise from the road.
