The staff were not just professional but incredibly nice. I would stay here again without a 2nd thought. Christian at the front desk was incredibly helpful not just during check-in but also when guiding us about sightseeing. The room design is absolutely lovely. It is a pleasure to walk into a hotel with such thoughtful design. Breakfast was an excellent spread too. Nothing that I felt was missing.
There were some minor issues with the room - previous occupant threw stuff down the drain that clogged the sink. I feel cleaning staff should have notified maintenance since it was a significant clog but the staff were incredibly responsive when I reported it. One thing that I didn't care for was the half length glass protection in the shower. I found it took too much effort to not splash water outside the tub.
The rooms were clean. I loved the modern feel of The Island and the view was beautiful.
Far from the city center but it was close to the train so that made up for it.
The waterfront is beautiful and very new.
The location is not close to anything. Additionally the beds were too soft and bouncy.
Hotel was modern, clean and overall it was a nice stay. Quality of the free breakfast was better than most. The hotel is close to the hop-on hop-off boat and bus stop, so if you buy the 48 hour sight seeing tour you can hop on the boat that takes you to several stops around the city... This almost makes up for the hotels fairly poor location...
Location is on the outskirts of the city so it's about a 15-20 minute walk into the city... We had a problem with our room keys where they didn't work and we had to get new keys at the front desk... This happened twice... and the second time was after breakfast on the day we were checking out... I had to wait about 10 minutes in a line at the front desk to get new keys...
the air conditioning was not working at all, the hotel was hot and humid and to sleep you had to have the windows open but the road noise was appaling, thooughly uncomfortable night.
The location for work and the city centre make this an excellant hotel. The staff and services are probably the best in the city.
A nice and new hotel with clean and light rooms that has a good atmosphere.
I liked that the hotel was clean and modern. The Beds were very comfortable.
I did not at all like the location. It was rather far from the City Center and the Central Train Station. But of course Taxis are available.
The hotel is brand new, so it is still relatively clean. When no construction work is in progress in the vicinity, the setting is rather peaceful and pleasant. The rooms reflect a certain sense of aesthetics.
The service provided in the room was abysmal: no towels, no soap, and we had to request all those things more than just once or twice for the staff to actually provide them. Even worse, the reception staff actually tried to bill us things we never had, like mini bar consumptions (blamed by the staff on the previous occupants of the room) or several breakfasts. We would advise other guests to well check their bills. Remarks on these facts were met by the staff with rather unfriendly comments.
Nice rooms, helpful staff, lovely building
