10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very lean, modern and nice! Great to be so close to play on Blue Ridge Parkway.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Great breakfast bar and very quite.
Cons: Very poor entrance to highway.....could not get out due to high traffic. Also it was advertised as being a 9 out of 10 for being clean and it was more like a 5 out of 10.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have felt that Hampton Inn's were underrated on their star level. I've never had a bad experience in one...always clean, friendly staff, free breakfast, comfortable beds, and truthfully the list goes on. This hotel meets all the above

6.0 Good
Pros: Main thing was that the heater would make a knocking noise when turned on. There was also a mix-up with a wake-up call where the front desk put the call for PM instead of AM (good thing I had the alarm set). That was addressed and it did not happen again. But all-in-all not a bad place and I would stay here again. Staff was friendly.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. Clean rooms. Close to everything. No bed bugs!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very clean and all rooms are non smoking! Staff was very Freindly and helpful.
Cons: Free breakfast was just ok.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: The Sleep Inn in Boone is close to everything - downtown restaurants and shops, entertainment, etc. Hotel is modern, comfortable and clean. Staff is always friendly.
Cons: Breakfast area is small and difficult to move around in.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows.
Cons: Walls were thin. We could occasionally hear our neighbors. Walk in showers were a bit odd.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice and clean. The staff was helpful and provided us with directions to local dining options.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: When I stay in a hotel I'm looking for a place that's clean and comfortable, with a lowkey & friendly staff and continental breakfast. This delivers all of that, usually for a lower price than comparable options in Boone.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful and friendly. Common areas were very new-looking and nice.
Cons: Room interiors were a bit worn. Carpet needs replacing. Bed wasn't as soft as we'd have liked. We should have asked if they had a mattress pad to soften the feel. Some hotels have them.
7.6 Good
Cons: we found a .38 cartridge (bullet) under our bed... kind of strange to find something like that. also indicates housekeeping didn't really do a thorough clean job.

7.7 Good
Pros: Enjoyed the mattresses.
Cons: There was the strongest smell of deodorizer or caper powder, something used in cleaning that made my eyes water. It was so strong we kept the door open for a bit to air out and even cracked open a window. If you have sensitive allergies, take caution.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet was excellent and the seating outside made our dog happy.
Cons: Not getting back into the building from the lower balcony due to their key programming issue made for a bit of a pain when walking the dog.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Rooms were nice
Cons: Lobby under renovation and no one let us know before making reservation
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Plenty of room to spread out. Hotel has a very reasonable and accommodating pet policy though we weren't traveling with one. There were many who did, but they didn't disturb. Porch was a nice touch. Didn't use pool, but it seemed nice. Breakfast was good. Parking was a bit crouded. Go Mountaineers!!!

Cons: I wanted to use the swimming pool. The water was cold and I don't believe anyone else was using the pool. I thought I was going to pay one price but the actual bill was around $35.00 more. I can get the same value room for a cheaper price. I stayed there because it was close to my activities.

Pros: We booked our stay on the way to the mountains. When we got there they did not have our type of room available so they upgraded our room! It was awesome! The view was breathtaking! The staff were all smiles and so friendly.
Cons: The pillows were too firm. The ceiling fan in our bedroom did not work.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: destination fee not included in info from kayak
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: The location.
Cons: If yo have any sensitivity to mold, mildew or smells don't go here. The place was at one time, lovely but is in disrepair. There was paint peeling in the bathroom, the Jacuzzi did not work, window treatments were falling apart and the manager was unresponsive to complaints. The mold problems are unhealthy.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Awesome serenity. Beautiful premises. Very professional staff. A real gem.
Cons: There was an outdoor jacuzzi that was cold and not clean. I hoped we could use it. Balcony wood floors very slippery. Not enough dishes in the kitchen for the 5 of us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure our needs were meet and they did it all in a sincere glad to do it manner. My mom has been sick for a long time and this was the first time she was able to travel and she had been wanting to go to the mountains . She said it was the best trip she ever took. I can't thank the staff enough for being so gracious. We will definitely be back.
6.3 Good
Pros: Quiet and clean
Cons: Upon going there at 9pm, they charged a resort fee $15, which was not made aware at booking. Small room, not great view as described. Most of all the television was very small and was surprised to see that people still have these old televisions. The drive was good during the day, but on our way to the hotel at night, it was scary and the hotel entrance was not clear, so we drove past and had to come back.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I had a great one night stay experience. We brought our now 3 year old son to Blowing Rock to celebrate his birthday. Everything went according to plan and all of our expectations were met. The best part about our stay was the location. We took our son to Tweetsie Railroad Park which was literally right down the road from the hotel. There was also a lot of restaurants and stores close by. Another good thing about our stay was the location of our room. I was so nervous about how our toddler would respond to staying at a hotel as this was his first time. He did fine, but let's just say I'm glad that our room was located on the first floor and I believe we were among other families with children too. Not sure if this was planned by the staff or not, but it definitely worked for us! All overall everything was great including the breakfast. Prior to selecting this hotel I read a lot of other reviews about how good the breakfast was. They were all right. It wasn't perfect, but better than most hotels (regarding the selection of food). We will definitely be staying here again!

5.7 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: Hair in bathtub; Half used lotion bottle
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Cleaniiness. Beds were excellent.
Cons: So disappinted that the facility did not have a jacuzzi. The other Comfort Suites where we have stayed had jacuzzis and this is the reason that I selected CS of Boone. Traffic made it very difficult to get in and out .
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very cheap and everything was clean. Staff was nice as well.
Cons: A/c smelled musty and moldy. We had to turn it off because we were getting head aches and congested.

4.5 Okay
Pros: good location not too expensive
Cons: lots of hair in the tub and bathroom floor pool not working - being cleaned? on a Friday and Saturday? couldn't get the room we booked (king) because the heat wasn't working properly but none of the 5 people working at the front desk seemed to really know what the problem was. They offered us extra blankets and said we could move to another room if we got cold. We chose another room but it was a queen room. No offer of compensation. New room was on first floor beside the busy highway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable
7.1 Good
Pros: In town visiting family for the weekend :) Great location! Friendly staff!
Cons: Lumpy pillows :(
5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff was friendly. The computers didn't work, apparently.
Cons: Old diaper in the trash from the previous guest
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Ease of access to everything .
Cons: The pool temperature needs to be warmer, and the breakfast needs to be larger to accommodate more people.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: The sink was clogged and would not drain. Room smelled musty
7.4 Good
Pros: The room had pretty much anything I would have wanted for a short stay. Management was very accommodating in getting me checked in and checking out (I overslept). I have stayed here on previous trips. Always got the Queen room before.
Cons: The carpet looked stained and dirty. Heating and A/C unit did not work well and was very noisy. It sounded like the jet engine of an airplane warming up. Obviously got the same "bad" King room as mentioned by "Nov. 28, 2015" quest.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: I didn't like anything.
Cons: Overbooked me and didn't even both to call me to tell me. Showed up at 11 at night and everywhere was full and I was tired. Didn't even care to give me recommendations or call other hotels for me. Thanks for nothing.
4.0 Okay
Cons: There was mold all over the shower curtain, stains all over the blankets, the hotel smells aweful. It is an outdated, poorly maintained hotel. It is worth the 20$ you would save to go to a nicer hotel.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Location was good. Lots of channels on TV. Lobby nicely updated. Inexpensive.
Cons: Many stains on carpet. Old 25" tube TV. Noisy/creaky bed mattress. Looks like room had been flooded in the past.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: I booked a non-smoking room. At check-in, after I paid and right before I was handed the key, I was told I would be given a smoking room, with no other options available.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff was very professional and pleasant. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Close to town and decent parking area.
Cons: The toilet seat cover was cracked with a failed repair attempt. The shower curtain would not stay closed due to sagging rod. The shower head made a loud squealing sound. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling and moldy. The mattress was old and uncomfortable, The internet went out twice in 2 days. There was nowhere to plug in the coffee maker so it had to be moved to use. The carpet needs to be replaced, as does the A/C (it worked, though). The towels were tiny and worn. The message light on the phone flashed continuously.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great front desk staff, very accommodating
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Firstly, the young lady at the counter impressed us, both in her etiquette and in her helping us with every little thing we needed. Kudos! For the price I thought it would be a dump, but we needed a last minute room for our trip up to the slopes. It was a bit hard to find (The gps coords were across the street and down a block. The location is actually elevated well beyond street level so a call for directions for those who aren't familiar with the area may be needed). The room was fantastic! It had a decent sized flat-screen tele above a fire-less fire place (classy touch), proper extended-stay furnishings (include fold-out couch), ice-box and microwave. I'm used to frequenting 4-5 star hotels on work trips and while the amenities weren't to that level, this was about as close as you can get to that bar at the 3 star level. (ie. NOT A FIVE STAR HOTEL, BUT DARN CLOSE)
Cons: The ceilene could have used a once-over with a Swiffer, and the bathroom could have used a touch more attention. The Apple Maps and Google Maps location needs a bit of a tweek.

7.1 Good
Pros: Location is great and it is rustic for the mountains. Price is pretty good. Bed comfortable.
Cons: Only a sheer curtain on the window to the door leading outside shower took forever to get hot and it only was a trickle. No coffee refills left the second day. Walls were paper thin...heard a man cough in the room next door.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location was nice.
Cons: Water stains on the ceiling. Doors that wouldn't shut unless forced. Burns on the carpet. Broken ice machine. One completely flat, useless pillow each. Child sized bathroom. Shower that would go ice cold in the middle of my shower. Bed that doubled as a midevil torture device. We both came home with bachaches.

4.5 Okay
Pros: If you need a bed to sleep in its ok.
Cons: The room was worn out, pillows very used, mattress not good. No shampoo just bars of soap. Front of hotel seems to have regulars if you know what I mean.
4.2 Okay
Cons: I knew the place was going to be in need of updates from what I had read online but it said it was clean. I agree it was pretty clean although I found a hair in the bed that was obviously not mine. The main problem that I had is there was no hot water. They have adjusted the shower control so that it would not go to hot. That was unacceptable to me.
5.1 Okay
Pros: location, cable
Cons: facility is outdated and run down. needs to be upgraded.
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel really had not changed that much in over 25 years. It was OK but it looked just like it did in the 80s.
Cons: It was OK but it needs some upgrades
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: The location was probably the one positive about the Greene's motel.
Cons: Door & walkway stained and dirty; Room smells bad, toilet not working properly, 1/2 roll of toilet paper, dirty shower, broken fixtures, a warm refrigerator. Before booking room, and arriving I asked about commitment of 2nd night and refund if not needed, was told would be no problem. When I tried to cancel 2nd night was refused. I and my husband spoke with customer service 4 times upon arriving at motel, without resolution.
