Always a warm welcome here. The room, on this occasion, was spacious and quirky with a split level bedroom/bathroom arrangement. Room is always provided with bottled water and good tea and coffee making facilities, with biscuits! The bathroom was enormous and had Jacuzzi and shower with twin basins and a dance floor! The restaurant was unexpectedly quiet for midweek but good choice of fresh food that is always well cooked and presented.
Not much really, I personally found the bed a little to hard, but that's just me i guess. Breakfast service was not 'on point' but nothing drastic, just had to remind them that i was there. Breakfast was freshly cooked (full English) , but the egg order was not as i asked. Not that fussed as i didn't send it back. The coffee was a little weak also.
The car park was very cramped, very difficult to get into a space.
Room location was away from bar, so very quiet. Staff helpful and friendly. Location good. Bed very comfortable. Food good and breakfast was good and plentiful. Variety of teas and coffees were very nice. I would go again.
Shower/bathroom very small and needs a little care and attention. Our window overlooked scaffolding and bins.
Good location Parking on - site
disappointed no lounge area to sit in before or after meal very busy bar area fortunately able to retire to our room
