Once the site of the Dallas Opera House and the sophisticated Titche-Goettinger department store, the Hotel Indigo® Dallas Downtown hotel is a registered National Historic Landmark located in the heart of the Main Street district, near businesses, museums, restaurants and shopping. So it’s not surprising that throughout our hotel and guest rooms, you will find artwork and thoughtful details that spotlight our neighborhood’s connection to both theater and fashion. Our 1933 Bar and Bistro offers seasonal, local fare for breakfast or dinner. We’ve also got six gathering and event spaces equipped to handle functions of all sizes, including the Picasso Ballroom with 1,312 square feet of space.
Our stay was great. The room was small but clean. The staff was very friendly, especially the valets.
The food was way over priced and not that good.
excellent breakfast. Also, the hotel mgmt clearly made a conscious decision not to charge their guests for essential amenities, such as laundry (free do-it-yourself washer & dryer access, free internet access in the rooms, and free local shuttle on call for the guests). Aside from that the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were not big; however, the bathroom spacious and there was plenty of closet space to hang clothes.
The hotel was extremely clean and pleasant.
I really liked the room decoration/colors, the staff (great!), and the van service, which really made a difference (as I was attending a conference at the Hyatt).
The chair by the desk (too short and very uncomfortable) and the fact that the door to the other room does not block any sound (the person next door had a cough that I had to put up with all night long -- fortunately our stay overlapped for only one night).
close to downtown
no parking place!!
