Ocean front room. Free upgrade.
They rented bottom floor of garage to car show made parking horrific.
Terrible place to stay. Someone broke into the room when we were sleeping.
Never come here
Clean, large room with great beach views.
Towels resembled loofah texture. Tiki bartender was a little unfriendly, didn't even acknowledge us for first 5 minutes.
Horrible customer service room cleanliness was a joke disrespect from staff and Hotel Manager was lawsuit worthy
I liked the location, it's clean . Service people were nice .
The air conditioning unit wasn't really cold and water in the shower wasn't strong pressure
Great location to beach. Nice pool. Loved having music and bar near pool. Families with little kids can go, or couples, or groups of friends. Great staff.
Crowded elevator rides that took forever. Could have used a few more utensils in the kitchen. This is a place to crash, eat, get a shower, for a great price.don't expect a gorgeous 5 star resort.
I liked that it was right on the beach
The rooms were dirty. The kitchenette was tiny. You barely could open the refrigerator without hitting the wall. Towels were awful to use and cigarettes laying everywhere
Convenient to grocery store and lots of restaurants.
Toilet kept stopping up several times a day. Only one main elevator, so always had to wait a long time.
You get a lot for what you pay. Beach access and friendly staff for not a huge amount of money.
This is not a 5 star resort. Do not expect the Hilton.
there is nothing to like about this place
everything was disgusting
View and location
pool music on the beach
everything was nasty to beers and cups by pool cigarettes everywhere. Fridge had food all over it. Bathroom was nasty looked like pooped wiped on wall. No covers just a sheet. Bed was broke leaning and so hard. Well one side was. No one slept good at all. Towels were like sand paper.
Great location and comfortable room.
Towels are very rough!
I love the location, this is the third time I've been there. It's one of my favorite places to stay in Daytona.
When I'm with my children, the pool is so crowded I don't like to bring them there. I don't mind the loud music it's the crowds of people consuming alcohol that concern me around my daughter's. Kind of shocked my kitchen didn't have any pots or pans :( defeated the purpose of paying extra for kitchen.
Beachfront, nice view. Room was clean.
Old rundown hotel, cold water jacuzzi and pool. No breakfast. No pots and pans available to cook.
Ill start off with the positive, the room was clean and it is definately a great location. Other than that this place is a hole. There were two straight up fistfights on the pool deck, there was a group of men heaving full beer cans off their balcony at people....the pool and hot tub were very very dirty. I would never ever bring my family here again.
The ocean view, proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, and ample parking (maybe because I went there off season).
Everything is dirty,, room is very old and smelly, microwave and ref are rusted, towels are stained and old, doors are difficult to open and close so noise of doors in other being slammed is heard all the time. Walls talk loud. They never changed the bed linens. No garbage bins in the powder counter. The price is cheap. But with what I saw, it's still way overpriced. Be warned about the "incidental" fees per day you will be asked to pay once you check In. Incidental my #*s like you might steal their towels looking like rugs. Avoid this especially if you have young kids.
Room was gross, hardly any of the electrical outlets fully worked, and the cable for the TV wasn't even plugged into the wall before we arrived in the room. It was the biggest joke of a "resort."
The price and the staff were the best!!!
No safety in place for the balconies
Front desk staff is great. Latoya in particular was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is right on the beach with very easy access. Plenty of parking as well. Close to everything without being in the middle of all the traffic. Comfortable beds and a great view. Great value.
The comfort , view, and location.
Towels should be softer, next time I just may bring my own cause they were that rough!
Staff was understanding and kind. We showed up as planned but were surprised as to the condition of the place. Talked to the staff as to we were they on our anniversary and was looking for more. Very understanding they agreed to a refund with no penalties. Thank you so much. Great staff.... two thumbs up.
Rooms were not as described on web. Pictures were misleading. Might be good for much younger group. Concerned about doors that looked broken into and repaired with metal bracing. Bath Mirrors were separating. One room had what looked like mold along base wall. One balcony you could not open sliding door. First room that was offered my ocean view was through another building under construction and I had to look at an angle to get a glimpse of the ocean. Did not stay at this hotel.
Run down. Outside areas dirty (elevator, hallways) Room felt rundown, flat pillows, door to the balcony sticks and had to be physically lifted back into the door jam/slider.
The fact that the Oceanfront rooms had Kitchens! The bed and pillows were so comfortable!!!!!! Very clean!!!!
First time leaving the room. Had our do not disturb sign on the door while we were gone and the house keeping still entered the room.
The waterfront view. Thats it
The pool was closed. Room did not look like what we booked. There where fees that no one told us about when we checked in. They did not want or care to accommodate for the pool being closed the whole time we was there.
It's on the beach. Covered parking.
They charge locals an extra $100 security deposit, that they say they can hold for a maximum of 12 business days. So basically for two weeks, this hotel is going to hold 100 of my dollars simply because I live in the same city that the hotel is located in. The first room we were given did not have a working door out to the balcony, the maintenance man told us there had been several railing accidents, and he couldn't be sure if this railing was being worked on or not. After a couple requests, we were moved to a new room with a working balcony door, but it's debatable weather the balcony area's feel safe. Not thrilled with the experience, likely will choose another hotel next time.
Toilet was not working properly, sink water pressure was very low
Room size was great. Nice to have a kitchenette. The staff was very good at the front desk. Cleaning staff all very friendly.
I read the reviews of this before staying, but after booking it for Daytona 500. They were doing construction on balconies. So, no access to them. Windows filthy because of construction. Tiny, very old TV. Old furniture in room. The table was broken. Beds hard and uncomfortable. Bath Towels very rough and small. Small hard-to-open shampoo/conditioner packets and small slimy soap bars. Front Door did not close all the way. A cleaning lady just pushed it open one day without knocking. Could hear all outside noises. Construction noises started at 8:00am. The price we paid was over $250/night during NASCAR race. weekend. The day we left the price was $49.00/night, which is more appropriate.
