Pros: Mattresses and pillows, quiet and the breakfast was good too
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Pros: Everything at the hotel was just what we wanted. Comfortable bed. Perfect shower. Great air conditioner. Breakfast included. Awesome pool.
Cons: i tried to check in a little sooner than the 3 o'clock check in time and never got a courtesy call to tell me my room was ready.
Pros: I feel as if I got my money's worth and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The beds were uncomfortable.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Pros: Service was excellent, room was nice and well appointed, bed was comfortable and everything was in working order. Very pleasant stay.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice facilities and good breakfast options.
Cons: The heating/cooling system under the window. These systems always seem a bit nosier than central air systems.

Pros: Near the beach, very close to the ferry drop off, free breakfast and bear a lot of other businesses.
Cons: Did not care for the inflated spring break pricing but I can't blame them for doing that when their competitors are doing the same.
Pros: Attentive staff. Nice pool area, clean, 3 blocks from beach, accurate local recommendations for food vehicles, etc. 24 hour coffee is a nice touch.
Cons: add room darkening curtains. Maybe some improvement to the fruit and yogurt selection at breakfast.
Pros: The room was clean with nice amenities.
Cons: The pool was supposed to be heated, but it was still too cool to swim in it.
Pros: The room was spacious and clean, as well as the pool and breakfast area. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was the average continental breakfast.
Cons: Rooms open up to the outside...all you hear at night are other people's comings and goings. This is partly our fault as we went during our Spring Break, which also happened to be the same as Texas Tech, Texas, and tamu's.
Smokers stood outside their door, so you could smell smoke and weed as you walked by and in the room.
Not as close to the beach as I thought.
Pros: close proximity to a fishing pier / jetties/ beach; the breakfast and Cyndie the breakfast staff on duty. Night shift front desk Jeremy was excellent.
Cons: all good.
Pros: This was one of the best value hotels I have stayed at. It was comfy and relaxing. Decent breakfast, nice staff, and the rate couldn't be beat. That's coming from a seasoned traveler that just got done staying at the Ritz-Carlton.
Cons: No real complaints.
Pros: Hotel was clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Location was great, too. Only 3 blocks from the beach. Pool area and surrounding grounds were kept neat and clean. Free Breakfast was outstanding, way beyond a "continental" breakfast. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Staff was really wonderful at replacing fresh towels, TP, etc.
Everything in the room worked very well, TV, frig, a/c, microwave, etc. Definitely a place I would stay again.
Cons: The only thing that was odd was the metallic noise the beds made when sitting on the edge. Springs "creaked" when getting in or out of bed. Otherwise, the beds were very comfortable and the noise certainly wasn't a deal breaker by any means.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. They also have a great inclusive breakfast, and the rates were very fair.
Pros: It was clean, the breakfast was nice, microwave & fridge in the room & the staff was very friendly. I go thru there for business & will definitely stay there again.
Pros: large rooms, continues hot water
Cons: noisy, unsupervised kids. extended stay?
Pros: Clean. Staff was friendly.
Pros: The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. All round good experience
Cons: We had a little problem with the lock on the door not working all the time, but I let the front desk know when we left that it was the lock, and not us deactivating the magnetic key, and she was happy to know that.
Pros: The price was great. Breakfast included.
Cons: Lack of proteins at breakfast.
Pros: The staff was absolutely friendly, and everything was very clean.
Pros: We loved how much the staff cared and how the hotel will try it's best to always accommodate for their customers.
Cons: The pool was heated but not enough for the time of year we went, maybe just five degrees warmer.
Pros: The room was clean. They furnish the towels for swimming. Was close to the things on the island.
Cons: It was my fault for not understanding what economy room meant. It was half of a room, the bed just a few feet from the door. It had no where for your suitcase and not much space for clothes to hang.
Pros: The staff was great. Whatever we needed extra(towels, pillows) we received in a timely manner. The road next to the hotel leads to the beach... About 1/4 of a mile.
Cons: The pool was somewhat small.
Pros: I was impressed by friendly staff, CLEAN room and property, and the outdoor pool being heated.
Cons: The breakfast choices were not great.
Pros: Cleanliness and warm reception.
Cons: No frills.
Enjoy your visit to Port Aransas with a stay at Island Hotel Port Aransas. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and surfing/boogie boarding are nearby. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with LED TVs and premium bedding.
Pros: We ended up having vehicle issues (caused us to rent-a-car) 7 miles before getting into Port Aransas, and could not get to the office to check-in, prior to the office closing. So they called and gave the instructions of how and where to check-in and get a key. This was so convenient, especially since we had 7 hours of holly terror in getting our vehicle arranged to have fixed on the following day. We did not get to the hotel until after mid-night. Then we had to drop our key in the safe box at 7:00am to go deal with the vehicle again.
But the 1 bed-room was spotless! The bed was amazing! Parking was amazing! The staff calling and making key and check-in arrangements was amazing and it turned out to be a Blessing for us!

Cons: The price was a little high vs other comparative hotels in the area

Pros: Decided to make a quick trip down to the beach last minute. This hotel had the best price and was well taken care of. We had a great stay!
Pros: Easy access to dolphin dicks. Walk in two minutes. It's a older facility but clean and reasonably comfortable. We were fishing and active most of the time so we weren't that concerned about anything else except cleanliness and location. If you are planning a dolphin dicks trip the location is great there are quite a few other eateries etc within walking distance. Will stay there again
Cons: The toilet/tub portion of the bathroom is dated and in need of remodel. It worked for my self and my 14 yr old son but I do not think my wife or daughter would have been as happy. The tub drained very slow. Coming in from the beach with sand etc on you. The sand would not drain well because the tub would not drain as it should. May sound petty but every time my son showered and the tub finished draining there would be sand in the tub floor.
Pros: Clean rooms, good price and good location!
Pros: I liked the price the cleanliness and the convenient location to the fishing spots and charters.
Cons: The breakfast wasn't set up early enough for people trying to catch the early fishing trips.
Pros: Location is goog.
Cons: Rooms are fairly clean. Table top and dresser had food and drink spills on them. Bathroom floor tile was cracked up.
Pros: The large capacity ice machine. I was able to fill a large cooler.
Cons: One of our rooms smelled.
Pros: The staff was nice, gave me ideas of places to go eat out and activities to do
Cons: They were under repairs and the water was off during the day for two days (couldn't take showers after going to the beach), the fridge in the room didn't work (had my youngest put our food and drinks in it so by the next day when i realized it didn't work all of your lunch meat was bad) , the construction crew doing repairs was there all day, shirts off, very loud. Ended up having to request a refund, which I was luckily able to get.
Pros: No mildew smell that accompanies many beach hotels. Definitely top quality for low price. Extremely comfortable beds. Lots of upgrades.
Pros: The pool was nice.
Cons: The room I stayed in didn't have a bathtub, only a shower. I have two young children and that made it tricky after being on the beach all day.
Pros: The water was instantly hot in the shower and stayed that way as well as good water pressure the whole time. May sound funny, but if you've ever had showers at motels with poor pressure or never get hot enough, you'll know what I mean.
Cons: Only 3 pillow for a king sized be and not enough covers. No extras anywhere in the room. My wife was cold all night. They also bumbled our booking upon check in. We had four rooms reserved and they couldn't quite figure out which room we were supposed to be in and when I asked why we didn't get the room we reserved I never got a straight answer. The story changed every time. A couple hours later we got a call letting us know that the room we had originally booked had somehow magically become available. Even then we didn't get a straight answer. I don't begrudge mistakes, just own up to it and tell us you messed up. I'm ok with that and a lot more understanding and forgiving when things are handled that way.

Pros: Several pools and hot tubs - and they were open late.
Nice to have towels available at pool - and swim up bar.
We had a great balcony with nice furniture.
Condo was large and roomy with big kitchen and full size washer and dryer.
Nice to have covered parking.
All staff that we dealt with were GREAT!
Cons: AC extremely loud and never made temp.
Felt more like hotel than condo - very impersonal.
Uncomfortable sofas - not a fan of rattan furniture.
Bright lights from walkway/entrances shine right in bedroom windows.
One vehicle that had been parked the whole time had gotten large dent and looked like someone had tried to steal headlight lenses.
Would probably stay again if not so pricey.
Pros: The location and the pool are what makes this place amazing!
Cons: The beds weren't comfortable at all but we will be back regardless!

Pros: Honestly, I wasn't expecting a lot, but the Plantation experience was better than I hoped. The staff at the front desk was excellent. The rooms were clean and adequate. I like the soap dispensers in the showers. The pool area was nice. The property was clean and convenient to town.
Cons: Drunk adults at swimming pool. Very loud and argumentative (between themselves) cleaning staff. The cleaning staff hovered at room entrances, waiting for lodgers to leave.
Pros: Rooms were clean
Cons: Walls are thin. Could hear people upstairs most of the night
Enjoy your visit to Port Aransas with a stay at Plantation Suites & Conference Center. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: The room was very spacious and the staff were very friendly. The pool area looks very night but we did not utilize this area. The beds were comfortable.
Cons: The room was stuffy even after we changed the temperature. There were not enough outlets by the bed.
Pros: Very nice renovation
Pros: Entire staff was very friendly and attentive! I can't say anything negative at all
Pros: Nice pool, good breakfast
Cons: Our room had a horrible mildew small, it was even in our cloths when we got home.
Pros: I liked the cleanliness
Cons: The parking was a bit tight.
Pros: I liked the location and the size of the room. I also liked the fact that they had a few grills outside.
Cons: The room could have been cleaner. There was mildew on the shower curtain, and stains on the towels.
Cons: Two women that were cleaning rooms or putting "fresh" towels in rooms looked pretty trashy. Both had cigarettes hanging out of their mouths and dressed in very short tight shorts. Just didn't seem professional to me.
Plus there was litter all along the outside area of the front of the building where we had to park and walk in that was never picked up the entire time of our stay.

Cons: the maintenance man was taking pictures of my daughter pervert..the bed was so hard an was so loud..the coffee maker continually run over an it was on a high dresser..the tv was like a large clock couldn't see the picture..the place above leaked on you when you went to the bathroom..mold every where..the front desk where kids working it not very friendly..
Situated by the ocean, Beachgate CondoSuites & Motel is a great choice for a stay in Port Aransas. After splashing around at the outdoor pool, you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Condos feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with balconies and free WiFi.
Pros: Extremely friendly staff! Will definitely stay there again.
Cons: The rooms were old and dark. The bathroom was questionable.
Pros: Everyone was so friendly! Very clean! Loved the cute porch chairs in front of rooms, so u could hang out outside, made friends with pur neighbors! Had the best sleep in months! Pool was very nice.
Cons: Bathroom a Lil small.
Pros: The location was great, near everything. free breakfast was nice -they only serve waffles on the weekends though. Room was nautical themed and super cute & cozy. Air conditioning worked great, not silent but not loud. Shower head was really tall which I enjoyed. Microwave and small fridge in the closet was a nice and convenient touch. Front desk people are very friendly. Parking was easy and convenient. Not bad for the price.
Cons: When I took my shoes off, I found that when I would walk around barefoot, the bottom of my feet would always turn black. There is no counter space in the bathroom so I had to put stuff on the back of the toilet or in the sink. The walls are a bit thin so I could hear when people were outside or next door making noise. Bring earplugs & you should be okay. You have to pay for wifi and ice which is kind of bogus considering how much you're paying for the room. Also, when I checked in I was told that fresh towels and linens would be delivered to our room daily by the room service. When I hear linens, I think of bed sheets. We got fresh towels every day, but we never received linens.
Pros: The staff was super friendly and eager to help out.
Cons: The room was a little dirty upon arrival. The bathroom looked as if it hadn't really been thoroughly cleaned.

Cons: Building is a little old our bathroom made horrible noise when flushed and the room feel is very dated.
Pros: Comfortable beds and new tv
Cons: Room was dirty and smelled musty. Moldy lamp shades and old musty worn carpet , bathroom too small and door doesn't shut well had crack in it. New owner is in process of refurbishing the motel . How ever it needs a lot of work to be just average . It attracts low clientele and partiers .

Clean, soft comfy bed, air conditioning, safe area, great location close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, bars and Friendly staff.
Cons: The upstair climb with the bags.
