Perfect position, great swimming pool and good breakfast, if compared to an average Italian hotel of the same category. Some nice "special attention" to international visitors (Skype, foreign languages spoken, tourist info available in the hotel)
Beautiful facility. Quiet. Good food in restaurant. Allessandra is a gem--she helps with everything.
excellent breakfast, 5 star quality Overpriced in our opinion, room not spacious, only a roof window.
Everything, except dinner problems (but despite this, food in this hotel restaurant was excellent) Dinner problems - if you have no reservation on saturdays evening - this hotel will not give you food at all and you will be supposed to find another place for dinner. So, be smart - if you want to have the dinner in this hotel restaurant - make reservation! ;)
The hotel was efficent and clean. The restaurant was very good and the best part of the hotel. The room could use some paint, but otherwise was good for the value. Also, the town the hotel is located in is very small and quite with little else other than the hotel so plan for that.
Very clean, very good breakast and very nice staff
Spacious and nicely furnished room. Good restaurant. Staff very helpful in planning trips to Cinque Terre. Convenient localisation - close to train station, easy access from motorway.
very comfy area- nice and quiet.
Very friendly staff. Free Internet.
Very Good location, lovely swimming pool, perfect to go to Cinque terre - train station and beach 5 minutes walk.
New rooms and friendly staff. They forced us to take our car out of the parking lot (located in the train station). It was very hard and time consuming to find a paying parking spot in Deiva Marina
Location near beach and train to cinque terra The hotel is very diffiuclt to find. The street it is supposed to be on does not exist.
Perfect location, situated right on the beach. Helpful staff and off street parking! Very good stay
Rooms were very clean and comfortable and stff were friendly and very helpful. great seaside position in the right season.
The friendly and welcoming attituded of the owners, their willingness to help in every way and the modern facilities of this brand new hotel. Right by the sea and close to the train stations and the Cinque-Terre. We would have liked to stay longer.
facililties in room very good, staff very friendly
This hotel is a treasure. It's location, in the lovely little seaside village/resort of Deiva Marina, is perfect for beach holidays or for visits to the Cinque Terre as it is only two train stations north of Monterosso. The hotel is situated in a quiet little street with a beautuful alfresco seating area at the front. Our room had all the modern facilities, a small kitchenette for self catering and a balcony with views towards the village and mountains. The staff were very friendly, helpful and we enjoyed chatting with them. Breakfast was huge and delicious with freshly cooked eggs. The train station is only 200 metres away and there are a number of restaurants in the town. We would definitely return to this hotel as it was one of the most relaxing that we stayed at on our trip throughout Italy.
The staff was always very friendly and helpful with any questions we had -- which were many! The room was spotlessly clean, and kitchenette was helpful. Evening dining room and outdoor lounge availability. Loved the big French doors to the balcony! Minor complaint ----- flat pillows........
staff and help very good!! room was great!! location very nice and peacful would highly recommend hotel loved the breakfast and the court yard Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was situated in a quiet village and not near any noisy roads or late night bars (if there are such things in Deiva Marina). There was free use of the internet. Staff were helpful when asked how we should get to places such as Portofino or what restaurants were available to use. The ice cream cabinet trapped us on our way past! There was no power point in the kitchen that could be used with a small travel electric kettle. A power point would also have been useful for using a camera battery recharger. A small micro wave would have been good
The staff was excellent. They were pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The beach was nice and very near. Hotel was easy to find from the rain station. easy access to Cinque Terre.
Excellent location for visiting Le Cinque Terre. Use the train to visit any of the five villages. The walk from RioMaggiore is the gentlest introduction to the coastal path. The staff at Residence Kris were very friedly and helpful, thoroughly recommended.
We had a wonderful time. The hotel was excellent value for money. Extremely clean, modern, very friendly. The beach was on the doorstep and it was fabulously easy to get to by train from pisa. The trains station in Deiva Marina was a short stroll away and the services ran very regularly, including late into the night for cinque terre towns. The town itself is a little sleepy, but this was super relaxing and we used the bars and restaurants in monterosso when we wanted something a bit livelier. Train from Pisa for two of us was just under 15 euros one way, it costs about twice as much if you use the eurocity train between pisa and la spezia, and is only about 15 to 20 mins quicker. i would recommend checking train times on trennitalia site.
The hotel was clean and quiet, 5 min to rail station. the staff was very friendly and helpful.
staff extremely helpful-free parking-nice room-quiet.
friendliness of staff cleanliness of hotel good food and excellent value for money
We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, a few hundred metres from the hotel, which was clean and spacious. The apartment building had a lift but it was quite a steep walk to get to it. Family run and all very helpful. Breakfast and overall service was great. Small seaside location, not much action after dark. Great for relaxing at the beach. Easy to get to Cinque Terre.
We lived in the appartement, which is, in fact, a spacy flat cca 400 meters from the hotel, very well equipped, 3 rooms, kitchinette, laundry etc. Very good None
really nice furniture in the room, light room, nice bathroom with window except one guy, nobody was able to speak English
we came late, and was guided to the Hotel The rain outside, if anything.
The hotel was right across the sea. Train station to cinqueterre 200 meters away. Under 5 euros all day pass. The supper was excellent for menu of 16 euros including wine. The owners were family oriented and very friendly. Spoke english. small bathroom but ok
Good helpfull staff, Very reasonably priced restaurant. The Hotel was opposite a Bikers Bar and on a saturday night it was very noisy until very late at night. The rest of the week was ok but I dont know what it would be like in the high season!.
the staff , the location, cleaness of the room , the value for the mony
You can hear the plumbing in adjacent rooms- showers, toilets etc
The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to answer our questions or to accomodate our request.s
The village is situated on the coast, in a real pine forest. The sea view is breathtaking. Excellent food & wine at the restaurant. The village is 4 km far from Levanto on the up&down coast road-you can't walk on it. There's no bus, you have to take a taxi that costs 20 euro, to get to the train station. The sanitary's were from the '70, not suitable for a 4star residence.
The view. The lack of promised internet access, heat only available during certain hours, no hand soap supplied, un comfortable sofa.
The location and views are great. The property is old and in no way 4 star unless you are using a 10 star system!
perfect location, great nature
Stunning views and relaxed atmosphere within a short drive to the Levanto train station (Cinque Terre). Villas show their age but who cares in such a beautiful location. We (2 couples) booked for 2 nights but stayed for 3 and would have liked to stay longer.
The view of the water was fabulous. The accomodations were very good and the resort ammenities were good too. The distance to the nearest town was 20 min. by foot over a rough trail. The lack of public transportation (bus or train) made us rely upon taxis and La Francesca staff to get to/from town.
calm, very good view and refreshing air insufficient equipment and old furniture.
The property is pretty and close to the sea. The price was ok compared to other hotels in the Cinque Terre. The staff at the office were not pleasant at all! (contrary to our other experiences in Italy). They did not have ANY information about the weather, or boat/ferry services in/around the Cinque Terre!
Gorgeous view of the mediterrian. Staff was very responsive when we had a problem with the hot water and all was fixed.
The view from the balcony is fantastic especially at sunset some of the should be available recreational facilities are either closed or not functioning properly during the period. rooms are too small. TV screen is a 14 inch and is very uncomfortable to watch. Towels are not approriately sized.no beach towels are available. room cleaning is not available. Access to the hotel is very difficult( narrow roads). It is too dangerous to walk to any of the nearby towns due to the lack of walking trails which compels you to use the car and face the associated severe parking shoratages in all those towns.
The rooms were big There was a lot I did not like: The way to approach is a dirt road of a few kilometers, quiet dangerous, specially at night. Nobody answered at reception, when we called to get directions on how to arrive. The rooms were freezing when we arrived. We stayed two nights. In the middle of the first night I woke up freezing. Apparantly they switched off the heating. I was upset in the morning and they promised it will be OK. When we got back on the second day in the afternoon the rooms were freezing again. Its not a 1star hotel, its a 3 star hotel and we paid for 2 rooms 220Euro per night. Not recommended at all.
Nice setting with grass and olive tree around hotel, clean rooms, chilfriendly pool, good kitchen. The access road to the hotell is extremely bad! 2K gravel road where you almost need a 4wd to get up! The distance to Levanto is to long, with the bad road the hotell is vetter fort lokal walks than excursions to the Cinque Terre! In our room only twoout of four beds had bedlamps, when asked they could not organize anything temporary-so reading in bed was not possible!
Friendly staff, nice view, ok breakfast, nice surroundings Very rough road to the hotel, I almost destroyed the car
loved the quaint hotel and room atmosphere, quiet village away from the tourists, ease of access to Cinque Terra, breakfast on the terrace loved it - we'd return.
Very close to railway station, Good garden breakfast in summer season Loud railway noise, small shower booth for adult
close to the train 80 yr old up too many steps
friendly, convenient location, atmospheric, outdoor dining and very clean
A warm welcome, very comfortable & clean room, with a beautiful breakfast room. The town was lovely with an excellent beach, a perfect base to explore the region, so close to the train.
A beautiful old world hotel in the center of a perfect town. Bonassola was our favorite place on all of the Ligurian coast. Close to the train in the center of town; the train did not bother us at all as they do not run much at night. Beautiful antiques and a lovely setting with fresh breakfast in the garden and walking trails outside of the door. Kind English speaking staff who kept our bags while we spent the day exploring this magical place.
Helpful, friendly staff; nice garden area for breakfast. Our 'family room' for 5, with a linked double and triple room and bathroom, was tiny - I'm glad we only had one of our 3 children with us. The hotel was not 'in a garden' as advertised (we looked on to an old ditch and buildings), although there was a nice shady garden area for breakfast in front of the hotel. We were 20 metres from the main rail line from Italy to the South of France - noisy trains, all night. Breakfast was poor (no fruit or even fruit juice). Contrary to the impression given on your website, there were no sports activities available at the hotel - rather, in the locality ie in the Cinque Terre generally. Overall, it was really poor value for money - more like a hostel than a 3* hotel.
well marked and located near the station. clean rooms. friendly staff. close to beach (less than 5 min walk) and a great little wine bar. a bit noisy from the passing trains...surprisingly no building vibrations...they provide earplugs
easy access from train and to beach. comfortable outdoor breakfast and dinners room was very small and sleeping uncomfortable
friendly staff and nice town train station too close
