Clean, new, cheery, and comfortable. What more could one ask from a hotel. This brand new Hampton Inn is a great addition to DeLand. Every time I visit DeLand I will stay here. The complimentary breakfast is the feature that "sinks the hook". My family was very pleased with our decision to stay at a favored chain's newest addition. I wish they had a preferred rate for customers of Skydive DeLand.
Staff was nice and great location. Peaceful scenery Bathrooms
Location Very dirty and old. I had to move rooms because the first room I stayed in smelled of mold.
Bed was very comfortable It was not a close to the airport as I thought.
The hotel is right off the highway very convenient location and staff was great. The hotel needs to be updated.
Location. There was a cricket under the pillow on one of the beds and the other bed had stains on the sheets. It was so dirty.
Location. Close to everything. The WiFi worked great It looked as if a murder had been committed in my room. There were what seemed to be blood spatter stains everywhere. There were roaches, dingy fixtures and anemic towels.
Very nice reception at the desk both mornings and evenings. Great location. Large pleasant breakfast room with fresh fruit, juice, muffins, etc. The carpet badly in need of cleaning or replacement.
The breakfast and coffee in room Its very dirty, dust and old dirt in all the room , bathroom front passage was broken . Lamp light was broken ,
The staff are really helpful, they are very kind and friendly, always available to assist us. 1. The room is very very dirty, the faucet on the bath tub can not be shut down and the water was flowing from it all the time, the bath curtain has moss on it, all the blankets have stains. 2. The beds are very uncomfortable, too soft. 3. poor breakfas
Bugs & outdated dirty rooms
Nothing it was a waste Of my money I didnt even stay the the second night do to rouches being in the bed. It was a waste of my --- i give this hotel 0 stars and will be reporting this hotel to code enforcement I didnt like anything the room was dusty and dirty lamps look like they never been dusted. My daughter was on the bed and started scraming because there was 2 rouches on the bed the tub is nasty all chipping the rugs were stain and dirty and it smelled in
Tv Carpet old, worn and filthy.roaches in bathroom.a/c smelled and caused allergic reactions.
I love how close the hotel is to the interstate and also the fact there are many restaurants located nearby.
I just slept there because I had an early flight from Sanford airport. Only about a 15 minute drive. The staff was nice and the room was clean Also got a good nights sleep on the bed. I would stay here again
A great value for the money. No complaints...very happy.
The staff was awesome..very friendly and helpful. Great location (visiting family in Deltona and old haunts in DeLand as well as Universal). Plenty of nearby eating establishments. Comfortable rooms as is the standard in any HIE. The room temperature was difficult to adjust to sleeping comfort and the AC fan was a bit loud. The pool is placed along a predominantly shady side of the hotel, so the water was very cold. The Jacuzzi temp was a bit hot. All in all I would overlook these things and stay here again.
Horrible Place. Used as an apartment building it seems like, people yelling about crack while walking to a drive by drug deal in the parking lot!!
NO HOT WATER!!! I did not have a warm shower for 4 days, they acted surprised but I believe that is the norm there. One night I had no water at all. People were drinkin in the parkin lot right out front. Straght ot of te hood
Cassadaga is the main attraction because there isn't much else around. The place has a very nice old Florida feeling. There aren't many amenities, but our room was clean and nicely furnished. The big veranda is a great place to hang out and people watch and the restaurant is very nice about letting you bring drinks and food out. Had some trouble with the hot water during peak times.
I can't pick one, so many fantastic experiences! The property was beautiful and elegant, and so different from a typical 'Florida' experience. The innkeepers are wonderful, we have new friends. The food was outstanding, not your usual B&B fare. We were momentarily taken aback with the lack of a shower in the bathroom. But we decided to embrace the experience and party like 1895! I wouldn't change a thing, just add a note.
The cleaning lady was rude, told me I had no choice but to let her clean when I clearly told her it was not necessary. She kept hitting my bag with the vacuum , she was rude to my children, when I complained nothing was done about it.
The price was good and it was a good stay overnight. The bath tub did not drain well so I had to shower in a couple inches of water and the toilet handle kept sticking so it needed to be raised manually, otherwise it was a good stay.
the hotel and the person was very friendley and good servic thanks. joerg
Location and price
Easy to find. Small bathroom, but clean.
Since I work in the area making residential homes meet the owners expectation, I am always satisfied to find a hotel in the area that is clean, comfortable, and close to restaurants. This hotel met my expectations. The staff is obviously doing their jobs

Nothing fancy but good value for the price
Postal museum none
I liked the picture I saw on the internet. Until I arrived. This place looks like it is very rarely cleaned. When I checked out the room it had holes in the wall that were patched but not painted. The window blinds were destroyed, the pillow case looked like it had an ash tray spIlled on it and the hallway rugs looked like they had not been vacuumed in a month. Needless to say we did a u-turn and got a room elsewhere.
Esentially a low-income housing property. Non-smoking hotel...not! Intetesting, historical hotel, but its better days are in the past.
The rooms were very nice. The staff was very friendly. The breakfasts were very good.
Clean Kayak put me and my family, pregnant wife with two children( 3 and 4 years old) in a SMOKING nasty room. Luckily there was another room available on a Thanksgiving day. I would suggest, stay away from Kayak, I think that was a pretty nasty way of making money without asking such an important question like smoking. I thought smoking was not allowed anymore in hotels, uupps, be carefull. Kayak didn't even save me a penny. It would have been cheaper if I would have done the reservetion directly through the hotel. God I hate smokers with passion.
